    I just saw a advertisement of this thing on youtube and at the end it says "the reason we can keep our prices so low is because we don't spend a dime on advertisements" while i was watching it and was like "THIS IS LITERALLY AN ADVERTISEMENT WHAT DO YOU MEAN".

      @@tomatotortilla I am genuinely surprised. Language is the dress of thought. And accurate language should be used to describe the world around us, in this case describing the gender of MOST, if not completely all, firefighters, who are male and therefore MEN, has always been way. That is until the politically correct, cultural Marxist-Nazis, had their way corrupting the English language. The absurdities don't end there. In primary school class rooms around the western world teachers are forbidden to address the class as ''boys and girls'' but rather as ''students'' or ''pupils.'' Their individual ''maleness'' and ''femaleness'' is now forbidden to be articulated. This is how far progressives (a suitable synonym for them would be ''prostitutes'') have corrupted civilization. A Pox on them.

      @@tomatotortilla I say, if that is so, then you are a most fortunate fellow. The term ''social justice'' is misleading, because it is only the word justice, alone, which has any meaning. You of course escaped a communist regime, yet there are many on the progressive Left in America, Canada, Great Britain who would love to bring a bit of communism to the free World. I was rash enough to buy one of these devices on being convinced by a hypothesis; that brushing with toothbrushes focuses attention on each individual tooth only for a second or two. In contrast, it is claimed, with this device, all teeth receive 30 seconds of brushing. This hypothesis is false because, although the mouthpiece does vibrate, the vibrations are not conveyed to the brushes where they make contact with your teeth. Instead, the silicone brushes absorb the vibrations such that there is no brush movement against the surface of the teeth. Another disadvantage is that you have to use about 3 or 4 times the amount of toothpaste that you would use with a brush. This is because you have to smear toothpaste all the way around the mouthpiece, both top and bottom. Finally, cleaning the mouthpiece takes an age after use. Getting the toothpaste out of all the nooks and crannies in the mouthpiece is very fiddly, and requires a lot of rinsing too. In short, devices such as these are grossly ineffective and wasteful, and I counsel against buying them for that reason. You really cannot beat an irrigation device combined with an electric toothbrush.

    In the commercial for this thing the guy says that 90% of his patients had tooth problems. That’s all well and good, except for the fact that the high level of patients coming to him with tooth decay was because he was a dentist. In addition, he says that the one thing that they all had in common was using normal toothbrushes. Of course they all had that in common, there’s only one kind of toothbrush! That isn’t proof that toothbrushes don’t work, that’s proof that everybody uses a toothbrush. That’s like people going to a doctor complaining that their cast isn’t helping to heal their broken bone and the doctor saying that the thing they had in common was the cast. People who the cast did work for, almost certainly in the majority, wouldn’t go to the doctor! People who don’t have tooth problems would not go to the dentist so frequently. The reason the dental industry hasn’t changed is because toothbrushes work. I am not saying that this toothbrush doesn’t work, as I haven’t tried it, just saying that the ad for this product was irritating.

    The sonic brush is by Burst. The greatest advantage of carbon bristles is longevity. Burst would like to set you up on a new brush head subscription but the carbon bristles last so long without deforming that Burst's suggested frequency of replacing the head is unnecessary. And yes, I am able to keep my teeth much cleaner with the Burst vs my old manual Oral-B brush.

It wasn't cheap and once it's in your mouth it doesn't really brush it just kinda sits and gently vibrates your whole head and the bristles don't move, it's hard to explain but basically I don't think any of them work I could feel on my teeth nothing actually came off. The only upside I think is that it uses blue light to kill any extra bacteria so I just brush my teeth like normal then use it after.

    Normal Electric toothbrushes are the best not manual brushing. I can absolutely 100% guarantee my teeth would be in very bad shape now if I'd stuck to manual brushing in the last 6 years. I probably would have as well lost yet another tooth to decay. A good sonic one (not philips) can motivate you to keep brushing regularly too as with a new condition head, a good amount of an advanced modern toothpaste and a good strategy including alot of circles I really do think you get the same benefits from a 30 sec brush as you do from 2 minutes of manual brushing. 6 minutes a day with a manual toothbrush is a bit too much to ask of someone who doesn't want to put any effort in at all like when your tired and just want to go to bed.
    I sometimes brush 3 times a day but usually twice a day and do between 30 sec to 2 minutes. 90 sec total a day with a sonic brush is all I need to maintain. I used to only use an oral b with the old long cross-action head but the bristles get shaggy quite quickly and it's very difficult to get the heads any more. I won't be buying another oral b once my current handle dies. At the moment I use both the sonic and oral-b ones. I also bought a phillips but rarely use it as it's the worst I've ever owned for many different reasons.

    First most of the bacteria are at the gum line, and you would hold the brush at a 45 degree angle not so much flat on the teeth. The Bass technique which has been around for along time.. is probably the best way to brush.. along with the Bass style tooth brush. ... also, coffee grounds would bounce off because of vibration alone.. Plague is stick so It doesn't act quite the same way. There are many variables that matter. What many people dont look at is the shape of the bristles at the tip.. jagged ends can tear into the gum, as opposed to rounded tip bristles.. which are more likely to massage the gums.. This is what a BASS style tooth brush has as well as its got much more space in between the bristles. allowing them to move..... Personally I like that style of toothbrush better. As far as Charcoal, while it is good at dealing with bacteria, I cant imagine it does much when infused into a bristle..

    Even with an electric toothbrush I tend to brush aggressively. I know the toothbrush is supposed to do the work but I just guess it’s habit that I manually brush my teeth with my electric toothbrush instead of just moving it around in my mouth and allowing it to do the work. I can’t be the only one.

      Some electric toothbrush models have pressure sensor that remind you to brush more gently when you press too harsh/aggressively. While I didn't try those brushes before (I don't even have an electric toothbrush lol) IMO it would be a good way to start changing your habit.

    Lmfao. I was watching an ad on this tooth brush. They said the reason they could sell the product for so cheap is because they dont spend money on advertising. They lied by saying they don't advertise in their advertisement lmfao. And they used this footage in the ad but didn't mention how this guy "wasn't a fan" and said it doesnt really work well for cleaning. The ad made it sound like it was the thing that would make the toothbrush obsolete. So now I know they are just trying to get as much money off their failed idea as they can through some bullshit untruthful ad.

    The 10 second brush is laughable. I do think there's something there for people - the idea that we can bring down the typical 2-minute brush experience because if you can brush more teeth at once, you can be more efficient. A 30-second brush is in the realm of possibility. However, you have to figure out how to adequately clean all teeth with the device fitting in the mouth. I'm not convinced on a design that will enable that kind of certainty, though many people (including myself) are probably constantly missing spots anyways so it may not be any worse than manual brushing.
    I bought the Burst toothbrush because once I heard the patent for sonic toothbrushes expired, I knew the overpriced Sonicare was going to have to come down in price or face stiff competition. It's truth that now you can get quality toothbrushes with that sonic emitting technology for 1/2 the price of a Sonicare, and I advise people to take advantage of it. There's nothing special about Sonicare anymore. It's just like every other brush using the same technology. My only advice is to not cheap-out - you get what you pay for, and $30 for a sonic-type tech brush is probably too low for quality to be good. I'd suggest $50-$60 price range, which is where the Burst seems to be at for the moment.

    • @concernedcitizen684
      @concernedcitizen684 4 роки тому +1

      You should do some research. The reason they’re sensitive to temperature is because they’re super clean. You got all the surface crap off of your teeth, including some of your enamel. Enamel protects your teeth. But we lose enamel every time we brush, and eat sugary things. The enamel protects us from temperature changes as well. So this thing actually worked really well for you. Now you just have to rebuild your enamel, by using enamel repairing toothpaste. Do your own research
