Sorry for the prolonged video. I tried my best to make it as short as possible to get to the point of each part of my airflare timeline.
Throughout these days of training I was in college and still I am now, sometimes I felt like I wasn't making any progress due to maybe being busy with school work and work at the time.
your one those guys who dont know the meaning of "giving up" . thanks for the video
+Kise oloya Thanks my man.
Lol Joesbreaks21 your one of those guys who only know that it’s progression.
I am one of those guys too. I am learning air flare since 2008 and I cant do two rounds, so, what do u mean by giving up?
JwlHddnInLts it’s not for u lol, if it takes u 11 years to do 2 air flares
Naruto
Literally took him abt 3 years to do a full round..
And here I am searching How to learn airflare in 5 mins😂😂
henthoi singha there’s never a easy way out man. Took me 2 years just to learn flares.
You can ! I learned how to do one in less than a year. This was back in 2003-2004 though. I was a teen at that time. I learned how to windmill, flare/multiple, 1990, 2000 ( easier than a 90 ), and one airflare at a high, vertical form all within one year. Later in the fall of 2004 I started practicing them with straight arms but because I was always limited in flexibility I could never go past one. Only once was I able to do two in a row with no effort and I think I felt my testicles twisting because of the leg swing. I've always worn boxers so that's another reason.
That being said, I haven't tried an Airflare in years. I have more flexibility compared to back then so I suggest you improve on it and just swing whatever leg you use when you place your first hand down until your body can't swing no more and once you master that part I suggest you tuck your head and look at your feet while at the same time swinging your arm around your head. That's the difficult part. It just depends on how much you practice and what form you are trying to learn.
Watch Moy's Airflares from freestyle session 5. At that time, the bboys that had them down were the only ones to learn from slowing down the vhs tapes frame by frame. Now you can learn all forms here on UA-cam. It just depends on your flexibility in arms, shoulders, hips and legs. Hope you get them.
i can do airflairs and windmill.
9 years and I still have 1 .
@@jamskaterpete same for me, were abrout 2 maybe 1 1/2 years to do my first 2 clean flarerounds, after that it was easy, ^^
Random UA-cam recommendation lol. Definitely worth it tho
Ueah
These kinds of videos are what made youtube so amazing back in the day
Respect.
This the ultimate of achievements
You brought tears to my eyes
Nice job. I could never do air flares
When I was break dancing 40 years ago you did them for me
Thank you 🙏
geo pin same with me, we weren’t up to this kinda stuff yet. I wish that I stayed with it but had to pay the bills etc..
Thank you!
4:29 if you look on the background the one who is playing basket ball when he throws the music match it
That's a girl lol
I was boutta say that lol
you should show your skill in this 2019
I do plan on putting out a video of everything I can do now. I’ll do it soon.
do it
@@Josebreaks21 yeah, man... looking forward to it. Took me 2 years to get coin drops into no hand mills. But u kept at it for 9 years!!
@@Josebreaks21 your dedication is siiick bro, look forward to seeing that
@@tdoto331 best part is summer 2014 where you could tell my dude just mowed about half an acre with two lawn mowers and then proceeded to practice his air flares. Maximum dedication, most people would consider mowing their lawn their work out for the day (me).
Better get that 2019 prog video ready, this thing just hit UA-cam algorithm gold.
man you do it the hardest way possible, you do it landing and taking of with both hands
tonico de lima yea he will get 1 hand airflare real quick
tonico de lima it looks like Pocket's two handed hopping airflares
And his body position is very low (almost parallel with the ground), making the rotation very hard to control I guess.
Awesome progression
I know this comment is three years later, but the amount of time and dedication you put into this, and your patience and persistence to continue trying day after day, week after week, month after month, and year after year it truly inspiring. You proved there is nothing a person can't do if they really want it. Your dedication is bar none.
And thats how u achive goals in life. Put the time abs the effort in it and never give up
Ur end result is freaking sick man
Thank you so much
Hardwork pays off. God bless you!
Really dope! Thanks for sharing your progress man congrats.
Damn, man, nice work! Way to stay committed to something for so long...very inspiring. Thank you for sharing.
Don’t break dance, but was on my feed and DO watch a lot of different dance videos... this is just awesome... keep it up man
Rly inspirational to see you not even be able to complete 1 flare to doing numerous at the end.
Awesome stuff man
Thanks
You are my new hero, great video and great progression. This is why I love the internet, I see the most amazing people pushing themselves it gives me the drive I need to be better.
+Hontoni Arigato Thank you! I hope this really does motivate you too the max!
+Josebreaks21 he where did you buy the dance floor at
Home Depot
+Josebreaks21 how much was it
The kind of linoleum I got was a 12x12 for $176. Got it back in 2011. I recommend getting a cheaper kind.
I'm glad you got it!!! Well done!!
I bet your favorite Tekken fighter is Eddy Gordo huhh 😞?
Hahahahah
I always come to your video and I feel like I'm watching for the first.
This video is really simple, but so many something that we can learn inside. This video is not only for Bboy, i think for singer, for actor actres or another fields, it show you if you want something, if you sure what you choose, and consistent, patient, work hard, hope and pray, feel pain, get hurt, you will got what you want.Fighting for you, guys!Best regard from Indonesia.
Yes you’re correct, this type of dedication and commitment can be applied to all aspects of life. I’m glad that you see outside of the box of what I was also trying to convey with this video. Thank you.
@@Josebreaks21 sure, bro👍✌
I have always wanted to do this. Thanks for this video because now im pumped up
Yeah man !!!! Keep moving forward , awesome work , dedication ,and hard work paid off .
Beyblade Live Action is so good
My exam is in a few hours and I'm watching this
Hope you did great
Definitely your confidence grew over time and aswell as the kick setup for every following air flare. Nice one! Keep it up now you gotta try flare, airflare, flare, airflare...
Thanks! I already have that combo packed down ;)
This is the true definition of not giving up..This is inspirational man to me.. Respect
+Hugo Vega Thank you!
First day of air flares man nice video
Your hard work payed off 🔥🔥🔥💪🏽
I started training air-flare in 2008, it took me 3 years to make 1 full round, i stayed with 1 full round for years, one day in 2015 all over the sudden at a training...i made 2 rounds...stopped, took a deep breath, and did 6, after that my record was 15, now its been about 2 years that i haven't trained much and i lost it, trying to get it back again but i gained weight and pains, if you're training it make sure you train a lot of handstands, spinning handstands, push ups, warm ups and stretches before you start training air flares, i also recommend you not to train everyday but every other day at least 2 hours, it will give your body time to rest and learn the move better, Great motivation video.
thank you to share to us your airflares progress!
I hope you wasn't training them regularly ( at least 3 times week ) for 5 years ? :D anyway, atleast you didn't give up, totally deserved this move.
Vytautas Venskūnas some people learn these things faster than others. took me 3 years to get the backflip...
Bcutter
did you practised them daily ?
Well probably like three times per week
+Bcutter i learned the back flip in one full day when I was like 8 years old lol I'm 22 now. corkscrews , btwist, flares, 360 flips, gainers 😎😎
malysz23 ayeeee practice bro! Its brings joy to us
Really good job my Friends never giveup thats determination i'm with the same problem but l don't gonna give shit no matter what ,so grettings & keep going
Is it ly 3rd year than i work that move and i have 3 or 4 lap.
I'm happy and that true than we need to work hard and till a long time.
You wright never give up, tomorow when i do my airflare i will have a thinking for you ^^
See you
bro, i really respect you from the bottom of my heart...
big props to you...
i m bboy from malaysia , nice to meet you too !
my insta is ( kinorogya or kinoroc) we can be friends hahah
kino lee Thank very much my man! That means a lot to me to hear that from someone. Nice to meet you too! All the way from Florida, USA!
bro your first attempt is already cleaner than my multiple airflares
That's cuz he knows just fronting like he don't and acted like it took him years to learn all for views my guy
I know this is a very old video, but I just wanted to say you could get airflare a lot faster if you practiced more vertical and controlled version. Doing walkover drills from handstand position, gradually lowering your hips/pelvis with time. I see you practiced from day 1 the most hard-mode and lowest possible airflare, trying to get horizontal spin, which is requiring insane swing and momentum just to keep going.
Just a good tip for anyone watching this now - start learning high airflare first! This builds strength, control and neural adaptation and much easier to combo with.
Subscribed ..u deserved it man
Even through the first few years of ‘bruh moments’ you persevered and conquered
The fact that it took years is so inspiring and makes me really reevaluate my training and the true lack of effort and consistency
motivating as fuck! Liked and Subscribed.
Hey and those are the real deal airflares too! Good job!
I tried this shit yesterday and it wasn'r working but i'll continue to practice. Not the air flare, just the flare😂
This is what we called "Practice makes perfect" and "Never give up on your dreams"
You got it.
Nice video I liked and subscribed👍👍👍👍
MAN!!... what a spirit you got, i almost 3 years not bboying... and after watching you i got new motivation again to learn flare, even airflare.. great job bro
Fuck yea that’s the only way you’s a monster get it !!!!
Never give up❤️🔥
I was a bboy per 10 year's. My best move was hollow back
para mi lo sabia desde el comienzo
never give up bro
Great idea never give up break dance is one of the best sport 👍💪
Honestly air flair should can be mastered in a month lol. Youre learning it the hard way. Anybody doesnt know how to do it. Reply here ill tell you the secret. Asian style.
I couldnt help but to think of naruto with that never give up attitude.
I usually don’t give thumbs on random UA-cam recommendation videos. But you deserved it. Keep it up!!
Thx man, you are such a big motivation to me :D
Oh man I remember my days way back in the early to mid 80'z' it was alott of bruises, cuts, and sore everything.
If I couldn't physically practice, I would pratice in my mind.
Became top dog in my city. I don't if itstill is today, but then the Bboy code was (constant elevation) you never give up if you have true passon
It's still the same. I'm a generation of the late 90's and early 2000's. The things that you might have imagined in the 80's might very well have been things many of us imagined still in my time. Nowadays, many of the things I could only imagine have already been done. It's at a point where if you don't stay consistent you will be just another one of the bundle being that so much has already been done. I wonder now if being creative has a limit before we all look the same ?? It's starting to seem that way.
I peronally think is to always have the dance element in and not be robotic or a gymnast persay. I also believe that style is key, your own preferably. It's not what you can do, it's how you do it.
Friend:
What you laughing about
Me: nothing
Also me after watching this Video:
If he continues practicing he will get a human helicopter and could fly to work
I am dying man hahahahahahahahaha u fucking made my day llmao
Hahaha, seriously tho I can actually fly an airplane solo ;)
Now thats motivation
Ur first attempt would be my 100th attempt lmao
Same dude! I got to that point and said "there I conquered it time to get my footwork better" lol
Dope! #BBOYSSTANDUP!
It makes me so happy seeing people achive great things throw continuous effort
Thank u thank u thank u. This will keep me on track, much love from anchorage, alaska.
+David Song No thank you!
Good job man!! the last form is so clean
Im 38..i remember doin flares at 19..most i did was i think 14. Won competitions with my crew...good time back in 2001. Good shit bro
this is really a good inspiration, I had 4 airfare and Recently I quit doing it so much trying to do the so high air track much like 90 position but must say muscle memory won't allow me to do it and I think my old 4 airflare are too low to become a real airflare but anyway after seeing yous being this low and going round to round I am impressed and Want to practice my old one right away
+Halwest Star Do it! I think a reason why it took me awhile to get my numbers of airflares up is because I kept throwing as wide as I can which was really difficult but paid off lol
Teach me how to do it....!! I really want to know....or just make a video about how to start doing this....
Not gonna lie, watching you get better & better & closer & closer.... was awesome and very inspirational! Congrats, you made my “favorites” list on UA-cam 👍🏽
Thank u :3 im Really inspired now. That is so cool, that u kept Training it. Really, i try this to (And fail xD) . Thank u :)
people are still getting inspired with this untill now; just like i do !!
HAT OFF for u man! :)
Thank you!
At may 2015 he is the one standing in front of the camera.
Anyway cool vid.
Its not perfect... but its a process
You worked for those dude! Good job man, straight raw airflares no sloppy ones
I gave up doing this after 3 days which was an year ago....but now I'm inspired
nice Bro i need the Same time for my airflare :)!!!!
Bro thats pretty fucking good on first attemp i have trouble walking on my hands
Beautiful progression. Very inspirational
The "dont give up" concept is awesome.. but every child who read this comment.... dont waste 5 years of ur life training for airflares. Read , work, be a better human, all of this make you happy. Airflares will means nothing when u get older. I know it means popularity and will bring you a lot of girlfriends. But fir example the same time used to learn about financial matters will make you fuck alot more along ur whole life
Great vid, but u got the craziest airflares I've seen, fast and wild looking, but nevertheless you got it! That's good!
Hey man, that was inspiring! Great stuff!
I'm starting airflares in a couple of weeks when I get my membership to this place. These videos motivate me ! A long journey awaits me :D
How are your air flares now?
It's allways a motivation to see those Air Flare Progression Videos! It shows me that I am not the only one who is struggeling with this move. I train this move for like more than 2 Years and I am still not done yet. For all out there who are training or starting Air Flares: This is not a move which you can learn in a few Training Sessions! It takes a while and as he says in the Video: Never Give Up and you will reach your goal, doesnt matter how long it takes!!!
Very Nice Video Bro
+PandaPrime I know how you feel about getting down those airflares bro but I really appreciate the kind and positive words! Keep at it dude and never give up, you'll get there eventually! And once your there the feeling is so amazing bro!
This is amazinggg so motivated
Five fuken years to learn one trick, and this video doesn't show the hours he put into strengthening his body. That's some freaking inspiring perseverance right there, I'm inspired!
you re a fucking boss bro💜
+Bboy Niñato Thanks man! but I'm no one special...I'm just like any other person.
But why so long progressive?
Nice
Very good progression!!! :D :) I am even stuck with airtracks!!!
I wish I could "love" this video. I'm inspired man!
I feel like my wrists would snap if I tried this lol. Nice work!
It wouldn’t...go get it.
