      @MacMac1313 5 років тому +8

      You can ! I learned how to do one in less than a year. This was back in 2003-2004 though. I was a teen at that time. I learned how to windmill, flare/multiple, 1990, 2000 ( easier than a 90 ), and one airflare at a high, vertical form all within one year. Later in the fall of 2004 I started practicing them with straight arms but because I was always limited in flexibility I could never go past one. Only once was I able to do two in a row with no effort and I think I felt my testicles twisting because of the leg swing. I've always worn boxers so that's another reason.
      That being said, I haven't tried an Airflare in years. I have more flexibility compared to back then so I suggest you improve on it and just swing whatever leg you use when you place your first hand down until your body can't swing no more and once you master that part I suggest you tuck your head and look at your feet while at the same time swinging your arm around your head. That's the difficult part. It just depends on how much you practice and what form you are trying to learn.
      Watch Moy's Airflares from freestyle session 5. At that time, the bboys that had them down were the only ones to learn from slowing down the vhs tapes frame by frame. Now you can learn all forms here on UA-cam. It just depends on your flexibility in arms, shoulders, hips and legs. Hope you get them.

    I started training air-flare in 2008, it took me 3 years to make 1 full round, i stayed with 1 full round for years, one day in 2015 all over the sudden at a training...i made 2 rounds...stopped, took a deep breath, and did 6, after that my record was 15, now its been about 2 years that i haven't trained much and i lost it, trying to get it back again but i gained weight and pains, if you're training it make sure you train a lot of handstands, spinning handstands, push ups, warm ups and stretches before you start training air flares, i also recommend you not to train everyday but every other day at least 2 hours, it will give your body time to rest and learn the move better, Great motivation video.

I train this move for like more than 2 Years and I am still not done yet. For all out there who are training or starting Air Flares: This is not a move which you can learn in a few Training Sessions!

    I know this is a very old video, but I just wanted to say you could get airflare a lot faster if you practiced more vertical and controlled version. Doing walkover drills from handstand position, gradually lowering your hips/pelvis with time. I see you practiced from day 1 the most hard-mode and lowest possible airflare, trying to get horizontal spin, which is requiring insane swing and momentum just to keep going.
    Just a good tip for anyone watching this now - start learning high airflare first! This builds strength, control and neural adaptation and much easier to combo with.
