One of the great one major wonders in golfing history. He hasn't won a tournament since.

Love Beemer. Doesn't take himself too seriously, loves his state and country, tells it like it is and is a great commentator, especially when teamed with Ewan Murray. Be a great guy to play 18 holes with and have a few beers and a burger afterwards.

That win at castle pines 2 weeks before the PGA put him on such a high before it, not because he won, but the manner of the match and the pressure with Lowery coming back down the stretch and Rich holding on despite shooting an almost course record 19 points (stapleford) gave great preparation for the PGA which he deserved to win.

Lowery was making everything he looked at during the international. Crazy that Beem still won .

He was a cool guy in high school. He's holding a golf club in one of his yearbook pics.

He still plays hazeltine quite often, his son lives with a member as he is going to college at the university of Minnesota.

American College level golf and World Amateur championship and NCAA level is very very high. He knew the level of competition. He just needed to work hard for few years...

LinksHopping Golfer Based on my expert analysis, he was closer to 180-185.

His wife hands out sleeping meds and she’s a pharmacist? Beem probably shouldn’t have mentioned that. What else did she give him back then?

I just heard him say, live on Sky TV, he's broken his clubs on the course. Wow, not cool. I'd remove him immediately from the course. Maybe it's his "little big man" disease, or maybe he was abused as a child. Either way, there is no place on a golf course for that, let alone suggest it's OK.
    Sad, sad little man.

"pretty sure I can sell that one in Monty for a pretty dime" yeah with that kind of attitude, it makes sense that you're a one hit wonder.

He had an amazing career for a guy that was selling phones for a living a few years before his major win. And more to the point, he’s right.
