I actually manished to deduce the final boss's identity all the way back in case 3 when talking about investigation 2, however I can understand why some people wouldn't be able to connect the dots so fast. I do view REDACTED as the best final boss of the francise in spite of the fact they do some really stupid stuff both before and after the reveal.

Yea you can make the deduction as early as case 3. Props to you for getting it so fast. It took me until the middle of case 5 to connect the dots. I just looked at the profiles I had and realized that you could narrow it down to 1 person

@@spouwnerring If I had to guess, you figured it out by connecting the ring in case 2 with Isaac Dover. Then in case 3, they leave it as a plot point that one of the kids have gone missing meaning they are plot relevant. Using the timing of when IS-7 takes place, you can deduce what ages the two kids would approximately be in present day. Two characters in the present day fit that age group with one being connected by the ring which is pretty good evidence of who the kids are. If there was a different way you figured it out, I'd be interested to know

@@DerpyHiro I reconized Horus as Dover's son, because he and the boy look like each other WAY too much for it NOT to be a coincedence. I then replayed case 2 and saw the PH ring. I then remembered that Keyes stated that Horus was his childhood friend and that they both didn't have families of their own. This resulted in me figureing out that Keyes is Dane's and that's when I asked myself "but why does this random side character have such a rich backstory that isn't told to you, but instead you need to piece it togetter yourself?" And THAT is when the awnser hit me. That, and some meta knowelige I acuired from other IPs.

@@spouwnerring Haha that's funny to me because when I figured out the twist I thought Keyes looked like Dover's son because of the closed eyes. I thought the closed eyes was just a part of the character design so I was like HOLY SHIT I'VE DEFINITELY FIGURED THIS OUT. Turns out I got the sons switched around 😂😂😂

Ahh, Takeshi Yamazaki, the hack writer who left Ace Attorney for dead, running away without having to clean up the mess that is GS6.
It's interesting how you can learn so much about a writer's philosophies just from knowing what their favorite case is. Yamazaki loves subverting expectations, which is something that is VERY attractive to hack writers such as Yamazaki and Rian Johnson, and so it makes sense why he loves GS3-2, which is the worst case in GS3 in my opinion.
The reason I don't like GS3-2 is mainly because the first half of the case was set up so well and with such a unique condition, all to be tossed out with the most bland and generic murder setup ever conceived in the history of the series, which made me feel cheated and disappointed by the end.

I don’t think he's a hack writer. And your proof for him being such is a single case.
Also, I like Stolen Turnabout, because of the twist, atmosphere, and characters.
And Investigations 2 is my favorite in the series.
Your just insulting him because you don't like a case.

@@eway44 Yes, that was a single, isolated case. Here's a list of just some of Yamazaki's failings as a writer:
Many of his characters suck and tend to have little to no emotion (Nahyuta, Amara, most of the GK2 cast including Courtney and Dane Gustavia, etc.) He even writes Ema Skye to have less personality than her GS1/GS4 incarnations, which were both written by Shu Takumi.
He focuses on plot over character unlike with Shu Takumi (who only prioritized plot over character in DGS2 which is why it's Takumi's least interesting game)
With the notable exception of AAI1, he rehashes a lot of ideas from the Trilogy.
Again, save for AAI1, his games are poorly paced in some way or another, mainly GK2 which is far too insufferably slow, and SOJ, which despite its length is way too fast.
At least your God is finally here. Preorder it now or you'll miss out. At least my prediction was correct - of COURSE AAI2 would be localized before AA7 was even announced. Enjoy.

@@torri776 Do we really NEED an AA7? AA6 wrapped up the loose ends from AA4. I think it's okay to just let stuff end. With AAI2 we'll finally have the entire series localized and available on modern consoles. I think we're good.

@@GogglesVonAwesome The nicest response I can think of is this: Even if we don't need AA7, we DO need a new game. Sorry, the series is long overdue for one. Be it AAI3 now that AAI2 is localized, a new spinoff game - I don't care what it is, just give us something.
