Randy is such a beast and with a huge heart. Louis is dying from cancer and Randy has taken steps to bring some excitement to his life. That’s some awesome shit. Spending hours with a fan multiple times is not something Many would do.
Ashes of the wake was a monumental record for me when it was released, it was the metal record I had been waiting for, massive grooves, technical, brutally heavy, incredible production, masterpiece
goddamn it was such a rush seeing songs from this era live again. My brothers and I saw them every chance we could from the late Palaces era through Sacrament and later again for the Resolution tour. Randy with his short hair again completes the vibe. Just wish Chris was still there.
I was there! Its so awesome you got all this on video so I can relive it. I only got small video clips, because it was wild where we were standing. Got sucked into a pit more than once not even meaning to. It was epic.
I'm going to Cleveland and this has been my preview of it. I am fucking stoked!!!! I have been listening to Ashes of the Wake and Leviathan back and forth for a few days. Its gonna be KILLER! Oh, and Kerry King is gonna be there. AMAZING!

Glad I found some LOG to get back circulating in my algorithm. I'm not big on subscribing so if I don't catch it in my feed... Them and MH are the only metal bands that make me feel genuinely welcome as a Blk metal head in a polarized world of fans. 🤘
@destroyerofsenses I hope it doesn't either!! Been a huge fan of LoG for 20+ years... hell my kids were listening to them in the womb. I used to my my headphones on my belly🤘🤣🤣🤣💯 This is going to be great. Hope you have a hell of a time as well🤘
You could tell Randy was having some audio issues with his mic during this show. His voice was cutting out and you could see him motion to the stage hands to fix his shit lol. He did a great job keeping the show going.
It looks like the VIP fans are grouped together to one side in front of the stage. In 2022, we were spaced out right along the stage and there were about 4 fans per cubby hole between the equipment cases.
Hope Sacrament and Wrath get a tour too before they retire. The end is near. Also wish he was able to do his old bloody murder screams that he did in the first 3 albums (most notably in the breakdown of Blood of the Scribe)
Thank you so much for posting this show!! I was supposed to go to my first LOG show in CT tonight, but got sick. I'm also really pissed bc I'm missing Kerry King Band, too!! Although, part of me isn't upset because the LOG set is WAY too short!! An HOUR for a headliner?? What's that about? :(
So damn fun! Seen them three times before this, I feel like this one is going to be closer to my core memories tho. My wife and I were in the pit together 😝
Do you mind if I share this video on my channel and tag you for credit? I will not monetize it obviously. I’ve edited the entire video to include real-time lyrics on the screen. It’s killer!!! Great job capturing this awesome moment!!!!
Current drummer is so weak compared to Chris. The decreased tempo on some songs is glaringly obvious. When I saw them live a year or so ago the dude totally butchered Now You’ve Got Something to Die For. So much so that I literally cringed.
They're playing to a click. The whole band agrees on it because they think it sounds better. It's not just him being incapable of playing the song close to its original tempo.
@@TunnelJumperthey actually don’t play to a click. Art Cruz has mentioned this before. It gives the music a good feel but I do personally think they could benefit from it
Looks like they replaced the shitty song with Walk With me In Hell on more recent shows. Would prefer Ruin or Black Label instead. But… they are playing Ashes in its entirety so I can’t complain.
@@blaketurner8275 you're of my thinking! Ashes is quality but I have the same opinion on it that Randy has with Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets; he prefers Ride because it's less polished and raw. I actually prefer Puppets slightly but in LoG case, I think BtP, NAG and ATPB are all better than Ashes. It's too polished. I actually prefer, minus Redneck, Sacrament to Ashes too.

😢 damn.
Honestly most singers get lame 25 years into their career. Randy goes hard AF
Randy is an awesome individual, and his stage presence is amazing. @lucko8659

Finally got to see Lamb of God on the 25th with this tour. Absolutely loved it!
Willie is such a tight player. You can hear his notes so well.
ONE GUN live !!!!!! Epic ! I’ve waited forever to see this.
Was kind of dissapointed not to hear the epic outro though :/ otherwise fuckin FANTASTIC

I just really wish Chris was behind the drum kit his drumming on Ashes was Godly still can’t wait to see them next month tho
Pit was so amazing
This was a great show, watched it from the front rail
Never thought that i would see what I've become on live again
Can not wait to see them in Raleigh, NC🤘🤘🤘
I’ll be in section 2 🤘💪

One of the more physical shows I’ve taken part in, atl baby
i heard ATL is the only show LOG playing 1st and Mastodon closing (I so wish it wasn't 12hr drive from me or i'd go to that one!!)
So damn fun! Seen them three times before this, I feel like this one is going to be closer to my core memories tho. My wife and I were in the pit together 😝
blood of the scribe is 💯💯
Good recording, even though I stand with Blythe.
Seen them 5 times but Ashes is the best and most prophetic album (2004) of all time.
😎

Yes I mind. Don't do that.
@@spacecityshowswow, you are a polite one.
We're heading to see them tonight. It's Lamb of God headliner or is Mastadon?
I'm sure you've found out by now, but this is a LoG/Mastodon co-headline tour. LoG has been going last, but their set times are about the same.
38:50 what ive become
Why did you cut off your dreds...
This... Is a concertkids!
This show was sick, surprise slayer was what really made me lose my mind.
It wasn't slayer , it was the guitarist from slayer that played for another band
@adriangarza7584 tom Arya was there it was supposed to be Kerry kings band

He’s ok…but he does obviously kill the tempo on a lot of songs. Definitely miss Chris Adler
He has no creativity, he's a generic metal drummer. That's the worst part. Whereas Chris always surprised you with a unique twist.
It doesn't help he is replacing Chris, who was incredible for LOG. Huge shoes to fill...

Crowd is ass! Move!!!!
Oh it was definitely moving, just not this section where this video was recorded.
I have been to multiple shows most crowds have like 4-5 people actually moshing
Randy is so healthy. Who woulda thunk.
Who told 🪵 it was a good idea to scrap Black Label and start playing one of their worst songs ever as the closing track? 😭
Looks like they replaced the shitty song with Walk With me In Hell on more recent shows. Would prefer Ruin or Black Label instead. But… they are playing Ashes in its entirety so I can’t complain.
Memento Mori is amazing. Different type of song but anthemic and it destroys live
And yeah Redneck sucks

No hate to Lamb of God, but those fairy wings in the back are way too glittery.
they’re not “fairy wings” they’re the album cover from ashes of the wake
