I like the addition of Axel in this series and I appreciate the fact that the Iron Dragons are challenges to Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do. Axel has compassion Ivan didn't- He defended Sam twice from Cobra kai, and felt badly after causing the accident with Kwon, but he was defending himself from someone who intended on hurting him and looked shocked by it. I am curious as to where they take his character in part 3.
I'm just speculating, if axel does stand up to sensi wolf, it will probably be after he loses a fight. Then sensi wolf will be furious start to abuse him. Then sam will step in, wolf will attack her, then Axel will put wolf in his place. I'm also curious about what happened to sensi wolf. After the brawl stopped, he was the only one we didn't see. Of course there's going to be an investigation to who brought the knife into the building. If they discover it was kreese, they're going to kick them out of the tournament.
All true. We are all speculating, but I wouldnt be surprised if Wolff is the ultimate bad guy in the end, not Sunyung, Daeun, Kreese and Silver what so many fans think. The way how strong Wolff is (fought Daniel and Johnny in a 1 vs 2 and still had the upperhand) and how he mistreads his student Axel, the guy seems to be more evil then all others. And it looks like he didnt care about Kwon s fate. He is ice-cold and killer. He almost killed that guy in the cage fight with a kick to the heart.
@@Johnadams20760 Since you mentioned Chozen: Yes I agree. I know some ppl say Johnny will beat Wolff in the Sekai in a tiebreaker or so, but imo he can only beat him in a point sport fight, not in a street fight. Wolff fought Daniel and Johnny in a 1 vs 2 and still had the upperhand. If I have to guess, I think Chozen is the only guy who can beat Wolff in a no rule fight. Only so much: The scroll technique in Miyagi-Do which was introduced in Season 3 wasnt used yet. And if you translate it, it means something like: _"...roar to stop the heart of the dragon"_ or something like that, and I wouldnt be surprised if "heart of the dragon" is a hint to the Iron Dragons, and Chozen will kill Wolff in the end with this techniqiue.
@@Johnadams20760 Nice :). I could go more into detail with a bigger text, but in a short version I have a suspicion Silver hired the wrong guy. Wolff speaks fluis Spanish, Catalan and Chinese, so he is maybe of mixed blood. The guy Mr Miyagi killed was Claramunt, that was his name. I checked a bit and found out this name has his roots in Spain, and you find if often in Catalonia. The capitol city of Catalonia is Barcelona, and remember how Wolff told Johnny how Barcelona is pronnounced correctly, and he seems to be a bit obsessed ppl pronnounce it correctly. I would not be surprised if Wolff gave Silver the old list of the tournament which Silver gifted to Daniel. But not because of a coincidence, but Wolff kept the list since this Claramunt was his grandfather or so, and now he is out for revenge on the Miyagi name. Maybe not exactly like that, but something like that. It would make sense Wolff kepet this old paper if he is connected to Claramunt, and of course when Silver told him he wants to humilate Miyagi-Do, of course Wolff would realize Miyagi is the name of the guy who killed his relative back in the day. Then he had about 3 months time to do some research about Johnny and the others.
Yeah I was very wrong in my prediction when I predicted Kwon would be as dangerous as Drago. That theory is out the window considering Axel is the most Ivan Drago like character we’ve seen on the show.
Axel seems like a good kid. I hope he stands up against his abusive sensei. I also hope he doesn't get in trouble for defending himself against his would-be killer, Kwon.
After watching [a certain reaction channel] mock Cobra Kai, its characters and legacy, it's refreshing to know that there are channels like Stryfe who enjoy this show *unironically* and take it for what it is: an extension of (and love-letter to) the Karate Kid legacy. Seriously, I'm tired of hearing "it's just karate, bro! Why is Daniel so obsessed with Mr. Miyagi?" Stryfe, thank you for sharing with us that you have experienced being ab*sed and I'm glad you're in a better chapter in your life. As someone in their 30s, I can tell you that I've experienced the same thing. In fact, Robby and I have 1:1, the exact same upbringing. I mean 1:1 exactly. Only, my father isn't sorry, my mother never changed her life, my legal guardians hurt me worse, I had to survive on my own at 18, and I never had a "Daniel LaRusso" to teach me structure and discipline. It's why I love Robby and his journey, why I love Cobra Kai so much and why it resonates with me to my core: it takes these subjects and explores them in a mature, optimistic and sometimes comedic light (without it coming across as insensitive). Cobra Kai has even taught me to control my anger when I think about my ab*sers, to stand up for myself, to set boundaries, and it's making me seriously consider martial arts. I never intended on writing such a long comment. I just love this show so much! It has so many good lessons, exhilarating choreography, a strong "found family" storyline (God, I can't praise that enough) and a bangin' OST by Leo and Zach. Watching the production value of this show increase, is fascinating also. I'm looking forward to your next video, Stryfe!
I think Axel will be redeemed in the end. Maybe standing up to Wolf in the process or being the victim of an assault by Wolf much like Johnny was either Kreese.
It seems pretty straightforward that Axel has a weakness on his left side. He may have a habit of dropping his left, but because of his sheer size and surpring speed people don't notice it. His sensei slapped him on his left. Why? It's hard to tell. Maybe he ducked when he was supposed to block and counter. Maybe a reach. His bruises were on his left. Kwon struck him on his left. Maybe it was blocked maybe it wasn't. And it appears that Robbie is also landing a kick on the left. Again maybe its a reach or maybe it's as straightforward as the present it.
I reckon Axel's story will end with him twisting Sensei Wolf's neck, or crushing his skull with his bare hands! While a more 80s sounding version of Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Face Down plays.
Sam and axel have such a good chemistry together. I ship them hard, even though I love Sam and Miguel…. But I can’t help myself from shipping these two…. Alex is like a robot who couldn’t even smile for a photograph, but when he is with Sam, he is so-human-like and Sam was the only one who showed him kindness and understood what he was going through and he has a soft spot for her❤
At first, I thought I was gonna dislike Axel cause of the BTS clip of him & Sam walking and talking on the beach and that Sam was gonna be an unfaithful romantic partner by cheating on Miguel. Turns out Axel may look mean and menacing outside and is a huge karate threat, but inside he is actually sweet as he just has sensei abuse, trouble showing emotion and rarely cared for by anyone other than Sam who rejected him for being taken. Even though I don’t do karate, I relate to him a lot.🙋🏻♂️
Amazing appearance Axel also 0:30 extreme stuns he does. Similar to 0:42 Johnny having bad teacher aswell. Ps 7:51 he’ll probably quit Iron Dragons. Also maybe Barnes could help him get to the right path & make amends with Miguel.
I like Axel, I feel bad for what he has to go through. His Sensei could lighten up a little. It seems like his whole life is karate. He should have friends, be able to enjoy life, doing things that would make him happy. I actually think he has actually smiled for the first time when he was hanging out with Sam. He also needs love. He may not show his emotions, but there so much good in his heart. I hope that in season 3 he might move to the Valley and switch dojo’s to train at Miyagi Do. Maybe he might share some of his skills with Sam and the others. You can learn from each other
Even better, maybe a reformed Kreese will save Axel from wolf after Johnny saved Kreese from Silver in episode 10 and redeem himself for the wrongs he did to his favorite student aka Johnny
Based off of the last name I was thinking that Axel was either like Serbian or Croatian or something akin to that. That would also explain his like ginormous height too then
So does Wolf only train Axel that way? Zara is also an unbeatable champion but she seems much better adjusted. I would assume that Wolf doesn't abuse her the way he does Axel.
Given what we know about Zara as a person so far, I'd say she's probably right in her element with a sensei like Wolf. Ergo, Wolf likely doesn't need to abuse her cause her mind is already cut from the same cloth.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Silver just paid for a world champion, considering the fact that Zara has already been established as the “Martial arts Queen” online, and that Wolf has only had his dojo back for so long, she’s probably transferred Also makes sense considering in real life she’s a multi-time taekwondo world champion and the youngest ever to do it
Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 2 is setting up a big fight for Miguel, similar to Part 1 with Kwon. Once Part 3 releases, Miguel and Johnny are going to possibly rejoin and lead Cobra Kai to battle Iron Dragons dojo in All Valley Arena which is set right after Kwon's death and the possible withdrawal of Kreese & Kim from Sekai Tekai
I love about what the writers are doing with Axel. In Karate Kid, we didn’t get Johnny’s backstory so everyone assumed he was a bully and an asshole, and we all wanted Daniel to destroy. With Axel, if they didn’t show the sensei Wolf scene or the bruises on his back, we’d all assume he’s basically Ivan Drago who creeps in Sam. We see those scenes right away and we all feel bad for him. He’s the first character where I want Miguel to beat him, but I want him to have a redemption arc. Like Johnny saves him from Wolf and he joins Johnny’s dojo. And maybe him and Zara will hook up after they turn on Wolf.
Bro I don't think him and Zara will hook up though, she is too self absorbed and selfish to care about him, but maybe with Sam there might be something
It's interesting, Axel's left side is much weaker than his right side, explains why Axel winches when hit/blocking on his left side, but his right side is much more dominant. Perhaps, that's why his Sensei is trying to train him to use his left side more. I also think, the only reason why Robby possibly landed a hit is due to guilt of what happened to Kwon, losing focus. I don't think we've seen the last of Kwon either. That's so much I can say about him but it will be too long. We'll definitely see more of Axel's story in the 3rd part.
Axel quickly became a favorite of mine. He's basically the Jiren of this show where it's hard to hit him and even if you do, like Yoon showed, it will barely do anything. He also just seems like a fundamentally decent dude. The rest of the teen antagonists would've gotten pissed off at Sam when she declined the kiss. Axel was respectful of it and backed off the moment she said no. His beef with Miguel is my only issue with him, I hope they can work it out in the next part, like Robby, I think he and Axel could work well off each other. Also not only doe Wolf make him freeze up, but you can see Axel flinch every time he moves, like he just expects to get slapped every time he does anything.
Axel is a formidable fighter with noble feelings. Robby lands a kick on Axel’s left eye, Rocky punched Drago near his left eye and cut him, in that moment, Drago saw he could lose, Rocky saw he could win and things slowly began to change in Rocky’s favor.
Axel is such a cool character fan hatin on him saying the only reason he’s unbeatable cause of height and weight size doesn’t matter axel just way to skilled way above all valley competitors yes his height and range does help him but even if he was regular size he would be a monster of a fighter
I was starting to think it's good the shows coming to an end this season but that finale just hit it out of the park. Such a great show it will be sad when it's all over
Axel is going to give us a throwback to Karate Kid 2. Axel is the modern day Johnny. He’s going to lose to either Miguel or Robby. Wolf is going to attack him. Johnny is going to intervene, and fully embrace the Miyagi Do philosophy with his own spin and kick Wolf’s ass. That will lead to Daniel trusting Johnny with taking over Miyagi Do in full.
I am really hoping for this! I am fine with Axel not being as unbeatable as in Part 2 and losing, but I hope your theory happens and that Axel joins Myagi Do. He deserves a happy ending and not to go down the same path as Johnny for years
Sad that Axel is obviously gonna lose due to plot bullshit. The dude has a huge height plus weight advantage over everyone plus trains 24/7 and they're gonna make him lose lmao.
If Robby sticks to Miyagi's style and plays defensive, while also exploiting any weaknesses as Axel attacks, he would win. I also want to see Chozen and Silver fight Wolf. Wolf seems to be on Chozen's level, and Silver might actually land some hits because hes a very deceptive fighter.
they are noting alike dragon and alex..,.,..,,.drago would never ever tolerate any kind of abuse.,.,well maybe only that they dont let him speak during press conferences.,.,.,drago during rocky 4 never hesitated about anything and never got distracted....drago fears nothing. and alex fears sensei wolf
Wait if Axel is a defending sekai takei champ from previous year, then why is his iron dragon dojo struggling? Isnt the sekai tekai some big deal that leads to made money and sponsorships etc and prob more eyes and membership???
He's more than welcome to train at Miyagi Do, and hopefully Daniel can give him guidance. If he were to be with Johnny I'll feel like he's going to torment him even further.
I think it would be nice if Chozen took in Axel. Daniel and Johnny have families..Chozen needs a young person. Either stay in America or bring Axel to Okinawa with him.
How would that work if Kim Da Eun could still be in the picture with Chozen? Chances are she'll do the same to Axel same way she's been treating Tori. But Chozen would balance everything out, that's just my take.
Unc really got mad because he met a girl for like 5 minutes and gets upset she has bf Worst part about it is that she’s going to America in like a week also 😭
I think that axel probably lived a very closed off life simply revolved around his sport, and was trained by wolf most likely from a very young age. He very likely has never had a girlfriend or slept with anyone, and clearly has no experience of reading social nuance. He most likely has just been round a hyper competitive environment all his life where everyone is out for themselves, and probably was never treated with compassion before. So the way Sam treated him is probably very new to him, and most likely he became infatuated with the first girl who showed him kindness. Then he learns that she’s taken, and he can’t stand it
Someone commented in another video somewhere that Axel is like the Alex Pereira of Cobra Kai lol. Axel Pereira 😂 But unlike Axel, Alex isn't really the jealous type. He's more stoic and chama. 🗿
Regardless of abuse, Axel was still acting like a jerk to Miguel, especially when he pushed Miguel down when the latter was just trying to help Robby after Kwon blindsided him
What's next for Axel in Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3?
I think he’ll be investigated for potential homocide. He’ll be cleared, continue the tournament, defeat Robby, then be defeated by Sam. They’ll both make amends, he’ll apologize to Miguel, and he and Sam will remain good friends.

He almost killed that guy in the cage fight with a kick to the heart.
i don't see how axel would be able to do much to wolf despite his skill strenght and size, wolf ia an adult and probably rivals chozen in ability
@@chrisbach1533 agreed
I like Axel. He's obviously a good kid. I actually think he's going to defect away from Iron Dragons and join Johnny, Daniel and Chosen.
Miyagi?"
Stryfe, thank you for sharing with us that you have experienced being ab*sed and I'm glad you're in a better chapter in your life.
Axel is like a mix of Ivan Drago and The Terminator, he is a unstoppable monster and so far no one has managed to get a solid hit on this guy
I like him. He seems like a genuinely nice person, albeit one afflicted with lovesick puppy syndrome. And he's just so fun to watch in a fight.
Some one suggested being blind in then left eye?
@Bubaiel visually impaired? Maybe. But not completely blind in the left eye. Even that is a big reach.
I reckon Axel's story will end with him twisting Sensei Wolf's neck, or crushing his skull with his bare hands! While a more 80s sounding version of Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Face Down plays.
Not happening
Sam and axel have such a good chemistry together. I ship them hard, even though I love Sam and Miguel…. But I can’t help myself from shipping these two…. Alex is like a robot who couldn’t even smile for a photograph, but when he is with Sam, he is so-human-like and Sam was the only one who showed him kindness and understood what he was going through and he has a soft spot for her❤
5:38 i saw a behind the scenes clip where it is clear that Kwon kicked Axel’s left arm so Yoon was the only one to get a hit on him
I saw that too. That makes things a lot more interesting!
Even though I don’t do karate, I relate to him a lot.🙋🏻♂️
also, another small hint with the link of axel and ivan, the dojo is named iron dragons which sounds a lot like ivan drago
You can learn from each other
All them senseis need to understand these are freakin kids, they shouldn’t doing this bullshit of their petty grudges in life
I think Wolfe will hurt axel after the tournament like kreese did w Johnny and Johnny will have his miyagi moment n save him
Even better, maybe a reformed Kreese will save Axel from wolf after Johnny saved Kreese from Silver in episode 10 and redeem himself for the wrongs he did to his favorite student aka Johnny
Still a lot of questions
Does he have parents?
Is he a orphaned?
Is sensei wolf his guide?
Does he even like karate?
Will he have PTSD?
Based off of the last name I was thinking that Axel was either like Serbian or Croatian or something akin to that. That would also explain his like ginormous height too then
Great video keep it up you're doing amazing things 😁👍
So does Wolf only train Axel that way? Zara is also an unbeatable champion but she seems much better adjusted. I would assume that Wolf doesn't abuse her the way he does Axel.
Given what we know about Zara as a person so far, I'd say she's probably right in her element with a sensei like Wolf. Ergo, Wolf likely doesn't need to abuse her cause her mind is already cut from the same cloth.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Silver just paid for a world champion, considering the fact that Zara has already been established as the “Martial arts Queen” online, and that Wolf has only had his dojo back for so long, she’s probably transferred
Also makes sense considering in real life she’s a multi-time taekwondo world champion and the youngest ever to do it
Probably only Axel. He’s groomed Axel since a kid while Zara is just bought.
I feel so bad for him when he got constantly hit by his sensei, just to hold up their image and status in being the best dojo
Hopefully him and Miguel will bury the hatchet in part 3
I do blame axel some what for Kwons death because he indirectly started the brawl by pushing Robby
If Miguel can find peace with Robby and Kyler, I have every confidence he can make peace with Axel.
He is the Ivan Drago of the Rocky trilogy in Cobra Kai
Axel is a formidable fighter with noble feelings. Robby lands a kick on Axel’s left eye, Rocky punched Drago near his left eye and cut him, in that moment, Drago saw he could lose, Rocky saw he could win and things slowly began to change in Rocky’s favor.
I'm being honest. This kid is like I've been Drago but the worst version of him. No drugs, just fighting to be stronger.
So similar like his son, Viktor Drago
I love axel he's a good kid he's just being abused
He will snap and rebel against his own abusive and evil Sensei Wolf
Most of the characters in Cobra Kai are misunderstood or flawed in some way. That's what so great about the show. Not everything is black and white.
0:15 what does that make kwon then? An Asian Clubber Lang?
Apollo creed. Both died at the hands of Drago
As a former victim of abuse, I can relate. I hope you're doing okay.
Axel's left hand tend to lower down, making his left part of his head vulnerable.
He deserves a happy ending and not to go down the same path as Johnny for years
Miguel = Jack Driscoll
Sam = Ann Darrow
Axel = King Kong
Great insights, excellent commentary.
The only way Miguel is going to beat Axel is by plot armor.
Everything is plot Armour including Axel Kovasevic
Yeah as if Robby doesn't have plot armour
He does 1 vs 2 against Yoon and Kwon which is kinda stupid
Sad that Axel is obviously gonna lose due to plot bullshit. The dude has a huge height plus weight advantage over everyone plus trains 24/7 and they're gonna make him lose lmao.
Not Axel throwing Miguel to the side like he weighs 2 pounds 💀
If Robby sticks to Miyagi's style and plays defensive, while also exploiting any weaknesses as Axel attacks, he would win.
I also want to see Chozen and Silver fight Wolf. Wolf seems to be on Chozen's level, and Silver might actually land some hits because hes a very deceptive fighter.
Johnny will fight wolf and win
@Penguinzero1 more than likely for plot armor reasons. Wolf was skilled enough to take both Daniel and Johnny simultaneously.
@ yeah he was but the fight had no winner
@ keep crying about “plot armor”
@@Penguinzero1 you're trying a little too hard
Imagine Axel joins myagi do and teams up with miguel
they are noting alike dragon and alex..,.,..,,.drago would never ever tolerate any kind of abuse.,.,well maybe only that they dont let him speak during press conferences.,.,.,drago during rocky 4 never hesitated about anything and never got distracted....drago fears nothing. and alex fears sensei wolf
Axel can and will have to beat Wolf! Something Johnny couldn't do in OG Karate Kid!
He’s basically similar to Knuckles from Sonic 2
Wait if Axel is a defending sekai takei champ from previous year, then why is his iron dragon dojo struggling? Isnt the sekai tekai some big deal that leads to made money and sponsorships etc and prob more eyes and membership???
It was alluded to that Sensei Wolf "got into bed with the wrong people" when he met Silver. My guess is he gambled the dojos finances away
"If he dies, he dies."
I hope axel cut ties with wolf it's obvious he's a bad teacher
He's more than welcome to train at Miyagi Do, and hopefully Daniel can give him guidance. If he were to be with Johnny I'll feel like he's going to torment him even further.
I think it would be nice if Chozen took in Axel. Daniel and Johnny have families..Chozen needs a young person. Either stay in America or bring Axel to Okinawa with him.
How would that work if Kim Da Eun could still be in the picture with Chozen? Chances are she'll do the same to Axel same way she's been treating Tori.
But Chozen would balance everything out, that's just my take.

Where do you suppose he learned kata??? Wolf doesn’t seem like the type of sensei to teach that. 🤔
A very good question. I looked back at S6E9 and thought maybe it was a similar movement that Wolf did, but it's not.
5:42 i uploaded a vid where kwon lands a hit behind the scenes, altho it could have been changed in the final cut
The power difference of Axel to the other characters is like Mike Barnes against daniel in Kk3
Unc really got mad because he met a girl for like 5 minutes and gets upset she has bf
Worst part about it is that she’s going to America in like a week also 😭
"Unc"💀 Isn't bro like 19?
@@bnuuy648Axel is 19
I think that axel probably lived a very closed off life simply revolved around his sport, and was trained by wolf most likely from a very young age.
Then he learns that she’s taken, and he can’t stand it
Are you going to a video on Zara too?? I really disliked her character btw but I’d love to hear your analysis of her too!
Axel is so cool
Axel isnt misunderstood, any rationale person can see hes not a bad guy. Aside from his attitude towards Miguel he displays no antagonistic tendencies
He is likely ivan drago but with more emotions and sympathy
Iron Dragons - Ivan Drago 🤔
Someone commented in another video somewhere that Axel is like the Alex Pereira of Cobra Kai lol. Axel Pereira 😂
But unlike Axel, Alex isn't really the jealous type. He's more stoic and chama. 🗿
Axel is literally Sean with karate training. Such a W take Stryfe.
Looks like an incredibly compassionate guy who was weaned on abuse.
If axel joins miyagi he would help them win
Iron Dragons name inspired by Ivan Drago and Axel is Drago of series
Is Axel's style Kyokushin?
Axel is so awesome
Do a video of Zara during part 2 she’s is extremely jealous of Tory.
Stryfe the Warrior I saw behind the scenes of cobra Kai part 2 and Kwon did land a kick on axel which is why he winces
4:03 he almost laugh right there 😅
That time Drago got isekaid into cobra Kai
Finally someone said it
Axel also reminds me of the terminor
Are you gonna do a video on Zara Malek?
Regardless of abuse, Axel was still acting like a jerk to Miguel, especially when he pushed Miguel down when the latter was just trying to help Robby after Kwon blindsided him
bro got the tism
