Comment any theories/predictions you have for Season 3. I mainly think that the front man will show him other games and make him realize that the world is full of trash like he said & the games will never end because the world will never get rid of the trash.
Season 3(probably) This all might be test of GI-HUN by Front man. Gi-hun might be chosen to be next FRONT MAN... Which is the exact way he was chosen by previous one. However gi-hun will end this (with FRONT MANS brother) blood bath by killing/destroying the games funder (basically the island and VIPs) so that no one can participate. The front man is trying to break GI-HUN into believing that no good can be earned without sacrifice, in this case dying of others for you !
I observed that throughout the show, the Front Man consistently tried to make 456 agree on one principle: that sacrifices are necessary to achieve something significant. In the final episode, when 456 was finally willing to sacrifice some members of his group, the satisfaction on the Front Man's face became evident.
I think front man purposely create situation so weak player would stuck with player 456 .in start he doesn't willing to sacrifice because they were strong but in the end they have to protect themselves with other teammates too
@@nont18411 No, its completely the opposite, every interaction with Gi-Hun the frontman asks numerous questions and gives Gi-Hun the choice, "are you sure" "is this what you want to do" he is constantly letting Gi-Hun choose what they do and how they act, all Gi-Huns choices proves the frontmans point in his eyes, Gi-Hun is the one willing to let people die and kill people to get the end result... Which is all frontmans point from the start. Rewatch it, watch how many times 001 gives Gi-Hun choices, its every major decision they take.
One detail i noticed is the order of the games were like on that on purpose to create maximum chaos. The Pentathalon game made the players bond in groups of 5, making it harder for the groups to divide in Mingle. Making betraying each other inevitable
Ya like how in the first season u had to team up for the tug of war and then the closest people were put against each other in the marbles game (Ali 😭). The director and writer are really good at this uk
And in 3rd voting, may be the front man deliberately voted to make e result 50/50 because they will eventually fight for their cause, leading to more chaos. Before that, the players just obeyed their result.
I actually did a ridiculous amount of research and thought about this, and even with the large amount of islands, it still makes no sense that they wouldn't have found the island, except for the fact that the boatman was deliberately working against Jun-ho. Some things to consider: 1. The majority of islands around SK are in clusters, around 10-15 to be exact, that is, a bunch of islands all bunched around each other. Think like Indonesia but on a much smaller scale. So, you could feasibly scout multiple islands in a single trip. This is doubly important because of point #4 2. Jun Ho was undercover for several months to a year in season 1 -- yes he was largely inside the facility the whole time, but you would imagine when he first arrived, when he was making his escape, etc. that he would've gotten a good idea for what the island looked like, terrain wise. 3. We know that the facility is pretty large in size, and features multiple different wings/buildings connected to the main facility. So, really tiny islands can be outright eliminated. 4. We know that Jun Ho was found on a buoy, meaning that even if the island itself isn't inhabited, it can't be too far from one that is. Yes, the boatman points out that he could've been carried some distance away from the island, but if we're considering how far he and the buoy could've been carried and him still be alive, it can't have been that far. So that can help narrow the area as well.* So, with all of this being considered, and given the fact that they were searching at the bare minimum once a week for 2 years straight (so 104 searches), the odds that they never found the island is astronomically low. Even if you ignore the parts about the buoy, his knowledge of the terrain, and the general size of the island, doing random searches once a week for two years still gives some pretty good odds to find the island. But, considering they almost certainly searched multiple times a week, or maybe even skipped some weeks, you can give about a 10% (honestly random number) margin of error on either end. However, if they had a system in place and used logical parameters to narrow down the search (and hell, when they find the booby trapped island Jun Ho even says "I remember it being around this area), it's far more unlikely they WOULDN'T have found the island. *I'm realizing after the fact that the boatman could've lied to Jun Ho about finding him on a buoy, which would certainly make sense. Still, the other parameters alone give you plenty of ways to narrow the search.
@@jogabogivery good points. Also, where would the buoy have possibly come from? If he was truly found on a buoy, it had to come from somewhere, but there's just no explanation for it. Unless his brother put him on a buoy just until the boatman found him. Otherwise, the boatman must've lied to hide the fact that his brother (the front man) got him to save Jun-Ho, while also ensuring he never discovers the island again. I mean, shooting him in the shoulder was a clear indication that his intent was not to kill him. Shooting him off the cliff and hiring the boatman to mislead him solidified that he still cares about him, but does not want him involved in the games whatsoever or potentially jeopardizing the ability to continue doing the games. Or another theory, the front man knew the guards would kill Jun Ho when they discovered he was an imposter, so he shot him in the shoulder first to at least give him a chance at survival. He probably didn't want to shoot him at all, but had to withhold his duty as the front man and eliminate the imposter. Even in the scene the front man looks devestated to have not only betrayed his brother by showing he's the head of the games, but also by needing to shoot him, just to give him a chance to live. Just further proves that the boatman was hired to at the very least go find Jun Ho after his fall from the cliff, and luckily he survived.
Yes but how many of those are literal islets, the amount of islands big enough for all that infrastructure to be built in them is surely not as high no?
@@jogabogithe island can actually be found rather easily because it's so large. We know it's an island off the coast of Incheon, which limits to a roughly 70km search radius. There's about 150-200 islands. But of those only about 40 are large enough. But most of these are inhabited, that leaves about 15 that are as large as jun-ho would have remembered but not inhabited. If he remembered anything distinctive about the island such as shape he could probably find it in a few searches.
I don't think the son abandoned his mother, he was forcefully dragged by those guys. If they didn't drag him, im sure they both stays out and dies. I believe he won't leave his mother. You can see him struggling to let loose in that scene.
That's true, however some seconds later he was "freed" and could have gone back to her but he didn't. It happens really fast so it's unfortunately not that obvious
I also noticed an important detail - during the first vote, after some participants interrupted, the masked men warned that if anyone interfered with the voting again, there would be consequences. Later, when player 456 was preparing to convince the others to vote for leaving, player 1 noticed his intentions. Anticipating that 456 might interrupt and put himself at risk, player 1 deliberately interrupted first. He knew the masked men wouldn’t harm him, effectively protecting 456 from potential danger.
I wish I could see it that way, but what's crazy is the contestants were interrupting the vote every time and no one got eliminated. There was even one vote where multiple characters had monologues and... nothing. It seemed like a rule that never was enforced.
The greatest detail was that they search the guards for more magazines. This is something a loot movies or shows never think about it and they allways have unlimited amunition!
I watched the subbed version and there was a subtitle at one point before that reveal and I don't remember the exact wording but it was like, the bad guy is called captain And then everyone was calling him captain, so it was pretty obvious to me
@@sammorris4722 I remember that. They were talking about the front man because they referred to the black mask. They must have translated front man as captain. Netflix is notorious for bad subs
@boxcutter4right! I was already suspicious of him but then the dinner scene where he said that Jun-ho had told him and then the other dude said they didn’t know how the info leaked I knew right away
Here is one from me. The main characters were last in the game with the legs tied, because if they didn't succeed, the guards can kill everyone but the front man with no witnesses. Also I think the front man said this to the mother in order to show Gi-hun how the people he is fighting for get corrupted, they can even abandon their own mothers.
@@Sharon388terryIf the frontman team won the other team get eliminated. But if the frontman team lost, the will probally escort the other team first before killing everyone exept the frontman.
3:48 I’m tired of people saying he abandoned his mum, he was forcefully dragged by people, he did not abandon his mum, you can see him trying to escape and yell “eomma!” Meaning mum.
the actor who plays front man was so good at spinning top that he would keep on getting the throw on the first tries, causing bloopes over and over again. The actors confirmed it, so to fail he had to be forced to uses his right hand to get the fail. It was done unintentionally but its a nice detail to the episode. Revealing front man ture intentions.
@@dragonborn1996 his source is trust me bro. the scene isnt even done in one take lol, there is no reason him succeeding on his first try would matter...
I don't see the frontman participating in the game as a problem, it makes it even more thrilling for me, because we don't know exactly when or how he will betray Gi-hun, we just know that it can happen any second. It somehow doesn't cross Gi-huns mind that player 001 could actually be one of the enemies, despite the fact that Il-nam was player 001 in Gi-huns first game. It makes me wanna scream at the screen "it's him!" the whole time and I'm also surprised that the frontman chose to be player 001 because I find it a bit too obvious.
I think there were a few times he had an instinctual suspicion that he dismissed…when FrontMan said his name “Il-Nam” it’s close to “Young-Il” from the first game and he had a surprised look. When his best friend started to warn him about him murdering someone in mingle…sure he wasn’t able to get the sentence out, but I think it piqued Gi-hun’s senses, because then in the coup he chose to bring his friend and hesitated to have Il-Nam by his side. Of course, he kept dismissing his gut and you saw it when he gave Il-Nam the extra ammo.
I really thought Gi Hun would figure it out since Front Man slips up several times. He says his name is "Il-nam", he calls Gi-hun by name even before he introduced himself, guessing that they would say 2 in Mingle.
@@faithhopelara I still don't see why he would suspect 001 to be enemy. Even when Il-Nam in season 1 was practically villain, he did not anything to try and betray Gi-Hun or other players. Only at the end he did learn that he wanted to feel the rush playing the games. I would argue Sang-Woo or Deok-su (and even recruiter) were more evil than old man
One thing I still haven't found anyone commenting on: the face the Front Man makes when he misses the toy (I don't know the name in English haha) and goes down to get it, he literally gives an evil smile because he's clearly sabotaging the game on purpose. By the way, AMAZING video, loved finding out about those details!
they put bros tracker in a can of bait. literally baited them with bait. and last season before they shot the cop his brother radioed and said “get the boat ready” foreshadowing the captain
I noticed a lot of people made the assumption that No-Eul is Sae Byeok’s sister just because they’re both North Korean defectors, but if you’ve watched season 1, Sae Byeok already said she has 2 brothers. Her older brother & father died while trying to escape, she was only left with her younger brother & mother. In season 2, Gi-Hun is still trying to locate Sae Byeok’s mother.
Here's a theory I haven't heard... it wouldn't be abnormal if No-Eul is Sae-Byeok's mother... they haven't mentioned her age and asians can be pretty ageless lol, they've said she's looking for a young son in North Korea they are struggling to find. Are they struggling to find him because he's already in the south? Is it Sae-Byeok's brother? If it is, Gi-Hun knows where he is. It would make sense she'd be more worried about the younger child left in NK than her older daughter or potentially a step daughter. Just a theory... I don't even believe what I just said, its just something to think about lol
@@TheChairmanZero her age wasn't mentioned but you're forgetting the fact that she's looking for her 7(!!) year-old daughter/child, not an adolescent one. Based on the looks of it too, it seems like she's only ever had that one child. Not a son and husband who died, not a teenage/adolescent daughter, nor a toddler son. It's just one child.
7:52 front man was smiling bc it was a win-win scenario for him. his group wanted him to vote X to make the tie; however, the tie enabled the all out brawl and the failed rebellion. if front man voted O again, they would've just moved on to the next game without any of that happening
And another detail I personally found is that the salesman when he was instructing russian roulette with mafia boss and his assistant he aimed his gun at his own head and shot but when he instructing the same game to gi-hun in hotel he just fire towards up, This shows that salesman is afraid of gi-hun's luck because we already know that salesman is suprised that gi-hun won
Another thing is that there is a parallel between the bread and lottery ticket game the recruiter was holding and the updated rules of the squid game. Any of the homeless people could’ve taken the safer option of the bread and been better off than they were before, but took the lottery ticket for an extremely small chance at winning big. This is similar to how the survivors in the squid game act during season 2. Instead of taking the bread (in this case the smaller cut of the prize pool) many of them continue to play more games in hopes of winning big
@@swayymontana5431that's not even addiction, that's just being desperate. taking the bread isn't the right decision, it's a choice between being able to eat for one day, vs the small chance of being able to eat everyday
@swayymontana5431 that's not a gambling addiction lmao, thats desperation, look up gambling addiction and tell me that again a gambling addiction would be if the salesman offered a year supply of bread vs a bunch of lotto tickets, if the person were to choose the lotto tickets that's a gambling addiction, not that hard to use google
small detail I noticed in episode 7 is when gi-hun wants to sacrifice team x so they can get the guns from the guards. 001 initially wants team X to attack team O first but gi-hun declined on that plan. 001 Looked him in the eye and asks him “so you want to sacrifice someone for your goal?”. This is a bit ironic coming from gi-hun since this is the whole point of squid game and the main perspective of 001 as front man. To get better or bigger price pool you need to kill others.
I think the predictability works well for season 2. Knowing what will happen adds to the tension and tragedy so much. There was no way that they were going to completely trick people this go round after the first huge twist in season 1, so I like that they didn’t even try. The suspense is knowing that the bomb is in the room but not knowing exactly when it will go off.
I think it works really well for season 2 too because it echoes exactly what the Frontman is trying to show Gi-hun. The writers know that the audience is going to root for the good guys and want everyone to survive and that we're going to be crushed when our favourites die. Add in the fact we already know the truth about the Frontman and know he's going to betray them at some point and it adds to that even more because it makes us build up so much hope for the good guys to succeed despite the fact we know in the back of our minds it's not going to end well. People don't change, people will still fight and kill and turn their backs on friends the second enough money is in it for them and that's exactly what the Frontman is trying to show Gi-hun. It doesn't matter how much you root for the good guys, humanity will always follow the same pattern and the games will still continue and it makes the show predictable yes but it proves the Frontman's exact point.
I agree as well! S1 was meant to be unpredictable and hook you into the show. S2 is meant to slowly unravel mysteries of the inner workings of their world, focus on social dynamics, and just fill the viewer with more sense of dread since the deaths don't feel as "exciting" (typing that last part made me feel weird)
my theory is that the captain is the guy who delivers organs being harvested from the players. because he did save Jun Ho near the island so it's most likely he went to receive the organs and found his body.
He is dragged by two men. He’s screaming “that’s my mom”. He immediately goes to her sobbing. He protects her and says they won’t be parted from that moment on. Doesn’t sound like abandonment
His initial reaction is benevolent, but he gives up, it's what the scene is showing us. He stops struggling and you can see his shame, that is why he apologizes, and that is why the mother has a huge reaction when 001 suggests that her son abandoned her. The son has obvious remorse, so we know he is not evil, but he dropped the ball, that's the point of those scenes. It's not implied, it's not a theory, that is what the show is presenting.
i dont think having the front man be 001 gets rid of the suspense like in season 1 with il-nam.. I think it actually creates this deeper suspense because we the audience know who In-Ho is, meanwhile Gi-Hun has no idea. It's something quite fun to watch IMO..
It’s too bad the cop lied about seeing his face, because on some level he couldn’t tell him it was his brother…if he had shown Gi-hun the picture of his brother and said it was the front man, Gi-hun would have been better equipped to prepare for the betrayal. It would have been an interesting twist if Gi-hun could have known and played naive until the right moment…maybe in an alternate version 😂
@@faithhopelaranah seriosuly whenever the ex cop and his crew appeared on the screen i just went on my phone cause i knew nothing important was happening
One strange thing is Gi-Hun noticably moved a lot in the first red green light game, like enough that it would've gotten anyone else killed...which leads me to believe the frontman has given orders not to kill him throughout the games (him joining his team for all of the games ensures this too)
Good point! Cause yeah when he would cover his mouth and scream he was moving tooo much, i was just thinking it was a suspension of belief kind of thing. That we were to assume it wasnt ENOUGH movement
@@danr2652 I dont think it was against the rules, because he gave everyone the advantage of knowing what would happen and how to survive, so it remained a fair game for everyone and thus still in keeping with the ideology. He didn't give anybody an advantage over anybody else.
i think that was just due to the realities of filming the scene, he had to yell and it would have been too hard for the actor to stay completely still while yelling.
The Front Man was played sooo good that i forgot that hes the frontman while watching it. I was like „he‘s sus“ but i forgot he was the frontman until episode 7
I feel like the Front Man was trying to turn Gi Hul into the next front man. We know from season 1 that the Front Man is also a previous game winner, and in this season, he's not just manipulating Gi Hul, he's showing him the Frontman's human side, connecting to him on a more personal level like a friend, talking about his wife, how he lost his job, even slowly getting Gi Hul to understand the ideologies of those who picked to stay in the games
@ makes sense, we know the Front Man was once a cop and he lost his job because he took bribes to save his wife. If he became a cop, that inner wish for justice might have gotten the best of him
What if the front man isnt allowed to retire unless he has an successor. The boat captain for example how he holds himself gives me frontman vibes and potentially he was the frontman before the frontman we know and maybe that's the connection the captain has with the frontman and why he saves the policeman brother. Maybe there's a reason why the frontman didn't go back to his wife after winning his season other than guilt and shame. As she didnt die while he was playing his season. Potentially, he too like 465 couldn't go back to normal life.
Also in season 1, if you voted out of the game, the reward money is shared to the families of the dead players, but in season 2, the reward money is shared amongst the players that are still in the game.
I noticed it to, and if you think about it, the players in Season 2 are worse than in Season 1. In Season 1, their desire to continue is somewhat understandable because they would receive nothing if they voted to quit. All the other deaths would have been for nothing if they quit. But in Season 2, they wanted to play more to get a bigger amount despite the guranteed money they would get if they voted to quit.
@@jeraldvincentzumel5300 Are you sure in season 1 the players are free to quit after the 1st game which is red light green light? If they are allowed to quit, wouldn't they spread bad news about this evil organisation and alerted the police?
@@哥坤-s7owhat? no, in season 1, like 200 people got out of squid game after red light green light because of the majority vote, and the police didnt do anything.
3:47 he didnt abandon her, the other 2 guys took him by force. you can see him struggling to get back to his mother, he's literally shouting for his mother in the show
ONE DETAIL that I noticed was that when the co worker of No-eul works on behalf of her while she was resigning, he asks her how does she wears that big head all the time and not feel exhausted She didn’t feel as exhausted as others as she was habitual of wearing a mask all the time as the guard in the game.
@@SkizmSchism I dont believe this is the first time she has been a guard at a games. Circles are entry level with no weapons, and Triangles are mid level guards with weapons, more trusted.
@@floof6896 Facts, for me S2 is Already a banger with that opening from eps 1 and thank God they're not just milking the 'game or die' situation, rather pushing the plot even further and deeper.
@@floof6896 I do not believe that’s the case. I personally think it’s more that since it’s only half a season we (the people that didn’t like it atleast) kept expecting some of the plotlines to start resolving but they didn’t, for example we still have no idea what’s the deal with Triangle 11. Also the bad guy player this season (Thanos the rap god) is super lame compared to Jang (snake tattoo guy) and I personally feel the games aren’t as intense as they were in season 1 which I think comes down to it not being new anymore not that they are bad.
Another detail that is worth mentioning is that in season 1 the games where hinted on the walls of the room this is also hinted the same way in season 2
That just left me questioning what happened to the original player 1, people would have to have noticed if the very first player was replaced by some other dude or if they weren't present at all, I mean, it's the FIRST player, people would remember 001 if they looked at him before the games!
@@MrBelles104 Who would go around and check every player's number? I doubt they'd even suspect him after the horror they witnessed after red light, green light game
@@MrBelles104 i dont think anyone was looking for 001. dude didnt even know his pregnant girl was in the game until after the first game. They probably slipped him in after game 1 because of the voting.
One thing I've noticed is when the salesman gave an item to one of the characters in season 2 , you could see very slightly that he has calluses on his hand , so he definitely works out in real life.
"was left with no choice to either die with her or live" that means he chose to live aka to abandon her instead of dying with her. He was being dragged away but he didn't even try to free himself from those guys.
@shadi6484he did try to break free and once he did it was too late for him to run back. So it's kinda mute to antagonize him for that, his options by that point is die in vain or live for her sake. Even then the Sorry afterwards doesn't even sound like "I'm sorry I stabbed you in the back" it sounded more like "I'm sorry I didn't try hard enough"
4:19 I think around here, Gi-Hun was explaining his plan, and the Front Man was skeptical at first, saying that they would be sacrificing lives for the greater good. I think he was trying to get Gi-Hun to understand the hypocrisy of his plan, as in the second episode, Gi-Hun criticized the Front Man for killing so many through the Squid Games, though it was for a cause the Front Man found worthy. He was always trying to teach and prove a point.
That's been front mans entire motive. I think he has some element of curiosity to him about Gi Hun; trying to understand why, when having being given more money he could ever need and (from front man's point of view) owing the other participants nothing, Gi Hun continues on his quest to bring the games down when he could just walk away and live an easy life. Front man had the same opportunity, instead he went the other direction of Gi Hun, even to the point of joining it. I think front man quite genuinely was interested to follow along with Gi Hun to see where it would go. When Gi Hun suggested that people would die in the attack but it would be for the greater good, front man after confirming with Gi Hun that he understood people would indeed die, seemed to contemplate that for a moment before agreeing. I think in his mind, this was his reassurance that he'd made the right decision and that Gi Hun was the one who was wrong to come back. Between the nature of the contestants who would vote to stay, or screw over others to ensure they won to sacrificing others for the greater good, it has been front man's vindication.
I feel like this time around, we are like the sponsors of these games. Watching with delight as we view these characters and their backgrounds, anticipating everything and knowing so much about their demise. It's not about surprising the viewer, it's a carefully narrated story being told by the Front Man, who was challenged by the main protagonist about his "limitations of control".(As said in episode 2)
8:00 This scene was especially foreboding, with how he voted for X but made a circle with hands, indicating how it always leads back to his control. He could easily voted against the main protagonist but knew that this would be more entertaining for his eventual betrayal in the end.
My Theory Is That Front Man Appointed The Boat Captain To Protect The Island From Soldiers Detectives Etc, And Also Commanded To Save His Brothers (Jun-Ho) Life
Another detail: in the second game, the main team goes last, with no one around, that mean even if they failed, the guards would just kill everyone except gi-hun and the frontman. no one will know
@riyansaini36ah I see, but that would drastically change the plot. Instead of gi-hun being in the action he would watch and possibly would try to escape. Feel like it would take away the aspect of gi hun trying to control the outcome and the front man telling him everything he tries is futile. And ultimately it will take away from the most important message of proving that gi huns actions align with the frontmans since he's just in a control room.
@@TheDragonfridayu could already kind of tell but the son kinda of just accepted himself getting pulled away. Its something that a lot of people do when they get dragged away they just pretend they can’t do anything or try to and fail but still let it happen.
He stopped fighting to reunite with his mother, also he apologized afterwards and she decided to pretend nothing happened. You can see he turns his head away from her as he stops trying to reunite with her.
You can see his shame, initially he resists but eventually CHOOSES to leave her behind. It's not a secret or a theory, it's literally the whole purpose of those scenes. I don't get why people still think he didn't abandon her
Squid Game Season 2 in a summary Pro vs Admin vs Noobs turned from playing Fall Guy to Counter Strike, meanwhile one of them played Among Us all along. I forgot to mention on the other side, the detective and hired mercenaries played Sea of Thieves.
4:52 xD SOMEHOW my dad caught the detail that the front man was using his right hand and kept failing until he used his left hand. It surprises me so much because HE BARELY REMEMBERS SEASON 1 XD
according to the interviews, it's because he kept on succeeding in spinning the top instead of failing leading to multiple bloopers so he had to switch to his non dominant hand to fail the spins
Another detail people missed was the 001 was never called through the intercom as an eliminated player, giving the writers a possibility to bring him back. I doubt that would happen since they killed the other players that were rioting with the mp5’s.
@@yabisity Her giving him the choice to go clearly showed he still had the option to stay with her. It was a clear contrast the director wanted us to see
I think its actually predictable since him being shot was never shown in the end which makes me think that the one went to shoot him was the girl who was with her in the same park. Also yes loved him in Sweet Home.
When I was watching the series, one thing I was not able to digest was, how was captain able to find Front man’s brother’s wounded body and later never able to find that island. Now everything made sense. After safely shooting his brother, Frontman would have asked captain to make sure his brother never gets to the island
I have a theory that the front man during the mingle game when he separated himself from everyone else just went into a room by himself to ensure that everyone else stayed alive and he just like stared at the camera
0:18 I think you still haven't catched on the detail that people who have circle on thier masks are not guards, they're workers and they never carry SMG's instead they're the ones giving out food & cleaning up after the games end. The one with the square is a manager and before the first game he comes along with workers and after the first game he brings soldiers with him.
Yeah, that’s what he meant. They got workers before first round and soldiers after the first round. To build that trust. The square guard (who is a leader) pulls out a gun if required.
He didn’t keep him alive necessarily for that moment, because front man wanted to come with him during the takedown at last episode to go to the offices, but he chose his bestfriend to go with him instead…so we can’t be certain that he planned that moment to kill his best-friend infront of him. I knew from the first moment that the fisherman was working with the brother 😂
3:40 I don’t think player 007 abandoned his mom - he got dragged away and in the stress of the moment had to go with it even though inside it tore him apart as we can see when the situation starts settling in when he’s in the room and his awful painful regret he shows when back reunited with his mother
His pain and regret is for abandoning his mother. Two people started to drag him away, and although he verbally protests, he gives up fighting them off and goes along with it to save his own skin. He abandoned his mother so he could live. He feels the pain and regret because he did abandon her.
One of my favorite things in I think all of Squid Game, was Gi-Hun commanding the other competitors through Red Light, Green Light like a leader, obviously because he went through it already, but I really liked him more and more at that point. Also, another quick thing, when Gi-Hun had that Dream sequence with the Squares, Circles, Triangles, Umbrella, etc, was I the only one getting shocked while screaming: "Oh, you're fucked, you're fucked now!"😂😂
He kept telling people to choose triangle and I thought of course they’re going to either add a twist (change the shapes you chose or make it harder to pick), or they would just change the game altogether (which is what they ended up doing having a different game)
Just a theory : After the second game, the son told her mother that he has a little more debt. Therefore, he voted to continue for the third game. He said that if he failed collect the money, they will harvest his organs. I believed that the director foreshadowing this moment where the son will die on the fourth or fifth game while protecting his mother. But he won't "completely die" because the pink officers will harvest his organs
Last round of Mingle Game, Frontman told, 2 players needs to be paired, 50 rooms were available And total available player was 126, so 50*2=100 and rest 26 will get killed eventually. Where the frontman was out of character and gave Gi-Hun clear indication that these games are build in such a way, that the players will be killed, so that the prize money gets increased.
@@rubiiraeYes but the games was not fair, we have to say that it's a scam. Where 26 players will eventually get killed even if they made 2 pairs, becz total 50 rooms was available, not fair at all. 😡 Maybe because of Gi-hun, where frontman and officers was worried whether many players may survive because. @CanadianLad can take note.
One parallel detail is that both infiltrated players Oh ll-nam (the old man from season 1) and the front man are player 001. I was hoping this would click something in Gi-hun at some point... but nope it was my wishful thinking.
I kept thinking that Gi-Hun was in fact suspicious of 001, because of what happened in the first season. And that he would reveal that he knew he wasn't one of the regular players at some point. But he never did. And he trusted him with the rebellion plan, which he probably wouldn't have if he was suspicious of him.
I will also like to add something here , If you watch the mingle game again you will see that the fromt man aka young il is left out for one round and then when the doors open again he runs back to gi hun i think that he actually never found a room but as he is the front man the guards simply let him be
But if he did that the numbers don't add up and Gi hun would have suspected that the surviving players count must be a multiple of 4. I did not check the before and after count but yeah.
You forgot one major detail, the front man is the creator’s son. In season 1 the creator tells the protagonist that his son is allergic to milk. In S2, the front man is also allergic to milk!
Let’s see, Jun-ho’s mom birthed him and adopted In-ho, right? We know from season one that In-ho never answered his phone after he won in 2015, but is their dad ever mentioned? Also, if Il-nam is rich, why would In-ho be desperate enough to enter the game?
This is a good theory, but personally, I think he’s done this to resonate with Gi-Hun more on a personal level to gain trust. As in S1, Gi-Hun also says he cannot drink milk and gives it away which the Front Man parallels here in S2.
If the front man was the creator's son his wife wouldn't have died because of the money shortage and he wouldn't have had to take money from others for his wife's medical treatment.
this will make me sound really dumb but i didn’t realise 001 was the frontman until the end because i didn’t recognise him but it’s funny because every time i loooked at him i was like suspecting something and thinking i’ve seen him before 😭
@@os12481but they showed a flashback scene from season 1 when the frontman shot his brother (the policeman) with the gun and sometime after that he was revealed as the player 001 so it shouldn't be hard to recognize him if you were watching the episodes carefully
i dont think the son abandoned her, he was being dragged away forcefully. it shows that he even tried to go back for her, but he just accepted what was going on and went with them because there was no use in fighting it.
3:47 they did a bad job at showing us that he actually "betrays" her and that it's not the two people pushing him in against his will, i never see this scene that way no matter how many times i see it. Felt like the scene was drama for no reason that led to nothing. The suspense went for 3sec then BOOM his mom get saved..? Doesnt develop the son/mom characters. (they still love each other ?! such a surprise when it's neither's fault and they're both conscious of what just happened.) so what , this whole scene for the "you don't know my son! 😡" to 001 in the room of 3? Felt absolutely nothing, but i get it, one of them will sacrifice/betrays the other or whatever in season 3 and that's why we got so much "my son is good we love each other" in season 2. Sadly too obvious.
@@RevDrTarr too "subtle" is bad when the scene last for 5sec. With a different camera angle or whatever it could've been clearer, it's just messy edit on top of other things.
I didn't get the part about him giving up struggling when I watched it. It just seems like the guy was being hard on himself for something that wasn't really his fault.
it's kind of sad that all they had to do was warn the people that they would die if they were eliminated BEFORE they entered the game. the reason half the players wanted to stay is because they realised that the money was more valuable than their life in their current situation. but the other half, not knowing their life was on the line for the money, all had a family to look after and a future to look forward to. if the warning had been given out, only the people who picked blue would be playing the game in the first place.
That's kind of the whole point of the show though. It proves the fact that when people are desperate enough they will do almost anything for money. Some will kill people, some will keep playing knowing others will die, and some will even sacrifice themselves when they know they have no other way out. A lot of people changed from O to X and X to O between the voting because their mindset changed when enough money was on the line or when they knew how many people would have to die to get them the amount of money they'd be happy leaving with. Even in season 1 we saw it because after they voted to end the games and go home, the majority still chose to reenter the games while knowing that their lives would be on the line again.
I think it is as good as season one. Season 1 just had the advantage of being completely new. I think it was a great idea to add the element of dramatic irony where we know that player 001 is an interloper instead of attempting a similar twist. Exploring the way everyone except the rich spectators is somehow exploited by the system was the perfect progression. I can't wait to see how No-Eul's storyline develops in season 3. I also thought she was related to Sae-Byeok although I didn't know what their names meant I think Kang is the family name so it's very likely. I hope she will be reunited with her little brother or cousin or whatever the relationship is at the end
I think Il-Oh/aka the Frontman was the most interesting character this season as him and Gi-Hun have a very interesting conflict of ideology and even though we know he's ensuring Gi-Hun fails in his plan to dismantle the games from the inside by infiltrating and gaining Gi-Hun's trust as a player, I think in some deeper level Il-Ho truly respects Gi-Hun's determination and how he made difficult choices to ensure the majority of people could survive despite sacrificing other players. Even during the second game while I do believe The Frontman was trying to sabotage his team purposely but I also think he actually enjoyed watching players win the game and even enjoy the comradery and connecting to these people, maybe because he was once just like Gi-Hun but lost his humanity after the death of his wife and stillborn child, so perhaps we see how morally conflicted he becomes in Season 3 despite how cold and devoid of humanity he is on a surface level especially when he kills Jung-Bae Infront of Gi-Hun. I do wish Season 2 was a lot longer and while I do think Season 1 was slightly better, I do have to say I really loved the direction of Season 2 and I'm excited to see the final half of the Season next year
A small detail I noticed is that the number on the invitation card for player starts with 456 (the one salesman gave to youtuber) and for staff starts with 001 (the one to the girl), so that they can receive instructions and also interesting because in the game 001 represents the game organization and 456 the players
Another thing I haven't seen mentioned is identifying the staff by the icon on their masks; triangle is armed guard, circle is labor/worker, square is administrative. Great video
7:15 I am so bad at remembering korean faces that I didn't realise he was the front man, I only realised it when in ep.7 he shoots the two people at the end, so for me it was pretty good
I really wanted to feel that way but I knew…. But what about those times Evil smile scenes and camera cutting him which implies he’s evil and especially at the last episode when the masked person looked at the front man , and got scared …. What were you thinking it was ,at those times ?
It must be because I'm used to seeing him in that all-black getup, so he looked like a completely different person when dressed as a player. I could have sworn he looked older with a taller head when in his Front Man clothing
Maybe it's because I'm part asian but I thought he was very distinct. He has a very square and strong face with smaller eyes, pretty scary looking when he glares.
So the question was, did the pink crew get the notification that the boss man is participating so that they don't actually kill him? If so, when he kills them on the uprising are they okay with that ?
As in red light green light game you can see that the soldiers only kill players whose number is told to them. So, soldiers never know if front man is participating.
I observed the one where Gi-Hun pointed at the cameras, where everyone in his team, except player 001 a.k.a. the Front Man we’re looking upwards, I had got the idea that he would go rogue!!!
PLEASE WATCH FOR THE WALL! After chaos in episode 7 and The Front Man handle it, the pink officers are back to the participants room. You can see some of the game are written on the wall just like Season 1. These are the games that they haven't played!
I have something to add to this in the episode in where they play the mingle game, there is a part when the front man leaves the group and suddenly comes back after the game with out anyone with him showing he can’t lose the game because he is the boss of it.
1 minor plot hole I just realized: Couldn't Gi-hun have let the players know that they have the chance to return to the games after voting to leave like he did in season 1? If I remember correctly, they all left after the first game and some/all were invited back. That would provide some of the players an incentive to vote to end the games. Thoughts?
Not sure if its a plot hole. In s1 when voting to leave they did not take any money home. In s2 when voting to leave they would take money home. Therefore in s1 they had an incentive to come back. In s2 half of them would not come back because their debt would be paid. Not to mention the prize money Would be reset to 0 since it was split amongst everyone who left
Thank you for your effort to pronounce their name correctly. Other media just butchered their name and I find it hard to follow which characters they talking about😅
Actually he _is_ mispronouncing the main character's name. It's pronounced *Hoon* not Hun. I've heard several UA-camrs make this mistake. Are you all watching the English dub or something, and is it pronounced wrong there? The name is pronounced Gi-Hoon. Saying this as someone who speaks and reads Korean and watches the show in Korean.
@@prussia92800 that’s why I said 'effort'. He didn’t say all the names correctly but he has the effort to at least mimic how the names are pronounce in Korean.
Thank you! I love the details you mentioned about how quick the front man was! I been wanting to rewatch this season. But I love how you scour these details that really bring the story out more. I been listening to interviews with behind the scenes and I love hearing about the decisions to make things like the windows in season 2 having the clouds and red color just like the game with 001 and 456 in the marbles and in their last game both still in a game in the real world.
I think everyone since marvel decided to give more importance to quality over quantity the Canadian lad has very few marvel projects to breakdown and give us hidden details from.
Very smart to add the loud jingle at the end, I was alt tabbed while listening and came to see what it was, now I'm engaging with the comments, probably how you wanted. Great video!
One Highly Underrated Detail is when the Salesman offers Bread and Lottery Ticket to random broke peoples on streets , most of them chooses Lottery Ticket , only to find out their bad luck and the Salesman crushes the Breads. We can exactly see the pattern of choices people make of chasing UNCERTAIN CHOICES with cheap yet great reward over a simple open OPPORTUNITY to better life. And eventually the Salesman crushes the BREADS in front of them. And during the game even though people knew that losing will end up getting them killed most of them still preferred to continue the game i.e UNCERTAIN CHOICE with a cheap great reward and they showed how people wasted an opportunity that was better than trying their luck over. We saw how people got killed in front of the survivors just the CRUSHED BREADS. PS: This game is just to clean a biological waste somewhat a concept maybe inspired from 'Blue Whale: The Suicide Challenge'
It wasn’t an Easter egg, it was a clear reference. That’s like going into a church and saying Jesus Christ on the cross is an Easter egg for being religious
Technically, The Frontman is a villain, but he isn’t evil… he was part of these same machination, though back then, under the rule of a nihilistic billionaire with a cynical outlook on life, even as he died and even after escaping this man’s control, he has to keep the games alive as a way to please the VIPs or something worse will happen but it doesn’t mean he has been trying to beat the VIPs nor does he enjoy these games’ existence, he’s just a man after all, a man with power under powerful men and until then, he is powerless to help his soon to be victims, even if he wanted or never wanted to
He's an antagonist in the sense of an ideological opposite to Gi hun, trying to break him but not kill him. Like none of the games posed a great deal of risk to Gi Hun as the frontman is there to keep him alive, even if he looses. He probably would be spared.
no he is totally evil wtf how can you even say that he isnt :D:D he is a psychopath for sure , I dont comprehend how did you say that he isnt :D calling these people trash...knowing that there are some people who arent even at fault, like this mother only trying to pay off her SONS debt and a PREGNANT woman but I guess I seriously dont understand the people who vote to keep playing KNOWING that everybody except 1 will die...cause they know that, they see that , that one guy voted to keep playing eventhough he knew his elderly mother could die....thats just another level to me, I understand their absolutely hopeless situation but I wouldnt sacrifice anybody for this also most of them were in debt bc of selfish reasons...it wasnt even a healthcare situations or something like that
i dont think the point you made at 7:13 is necessarily true. the fact that we know hes evil is exactly why theres more suspense when hes around the good guys. i think a good example of what i mean is in invincible. if omni-man didnt kill the guardians of the globe in the first episode, we wouldn't be scared of him when he's around mark or anyone else. the dramatic irony was key to facilitate suspense.
Comment any theories/predictions you have for Season 3. Btw, why do you think the Front Man decided to spare Gi-hun at the end?

This all might be test of GI-HUN by Front man.
I think front man purposely create situation so weak player would stuck with player 456 .in start he doesn't willing to sacrifice because they were strong but in the end they have to protect themselves with other teammates too
He wants to corrupt Gi-Hun.
Exactly, thats what they want us to believe too
It feels like he intends to twist 456 into his successor, tbh
One detail i noticed is the order of the games were like on that on purpose to create maximum chaos. The Pentathalon game made the players bond in groups of 5, making it harder for the groups to divide in Mingle. Making betraying each other inevitable
Good observation
Ya like how in the first season u had to team up for the tug of war and then the closest people were put against each other in the marbles game (Ali 😭). The director and writer are really good at this uk
Ooh that’s a great point
oooh that’s such a good detail. i thought the six-legged race was so random compared to mingle, but when you put it like that it makes perfect sense.
And in 3rd voting, may be the front man deliberately voted to make e result 50/50 because they will eventually fight for their cause, leading to more chaos. Before that, the players just obeyed their result.
2:28 Just so you know, Korea literally has thousands of islands. 3,358 oficially recognized, but it is known that there may be more.
I actually did a ridiculous amount of research and thought about this, and even with the large amount of islands, it still makes no sense that they wouldn't have found the island, except for the fact that the boatman was deliberately working against Jun-ho.
Some things to consider:
1. The majority of islands around SK are in clusters, around 10-15 to be exact, that is, a bunch of islands all bunched around each other. Think like Indonesia but on a much smaller scale. So, you could feasibly scout multiple islands in a single trip. This is doubly important because of point #4
So that can help narrow the area as well.*
So, with all of this being considered, and given the fact that they were searching at the bare minimum once a week for 2 years straight (so 104 searches), the odds that they never found the island is astronomically low.
Just further proves that the boatman was hired to at the very least go find Jun Ho after his fall from the cliff, and luckily he survived.
i though it was more like 3500
Yes but how many of those are literal islets, the amount of islands big enough for all that infrastructure to be built in them is surely not as high no?
@@jogabogithe island can actually be found rather easily because it's so large. We know it's an island off the coast of Incheon, which limits to a roughly 70km search radius. There's about 150-200 islands. But of those only about 40 are large enough. But most of these are inhabited, that leaves about 15 that are as large as jun-ho would have remembered but not inhabited. If he remembered anything distinctive about the island such as shape he could probably find it in a few searches.

I assume the masked men had orders not to kill 456
Nice catch!
Good catch, I had to watch the show for second time to notice that he did it in order to protect 456

Her older brother & father died while trying to escape, she was only left with her younger brother & mother. In season 2, Gi-Hun is still trying to locate Sae Byeok’s mother.
her mother could’ve had another baby she didn’t know about or her father could’ve had an affair
I mean, he also mentioned the meanings of the names are connected and they also have the last surname
That's why he says it's a personal theory, because it's fairly weak but still technically possible
@@TheChairmanZero her age wasn't mentioned but you're forgetting the fact that she's looking for her 7(!!) year-old daughter/child, not an adolescent one. Instead of taking the bread (in this case the smaller cut of the prize pool) many of them continue to play more games in hopes of winning big

small detail I noticed in episode 7 is when gi-hun wants to sacrifice team x so they can get the guns from the guards.
Well said. Really liked season 2

my theory is that the captain is the guy who delivers organs being harvested from the players. because he did save Jun Ho near the island so it's most likely he went to receive the organs and found his body.

Good point! Cause yeah when he would cover his mouth and scream he was moving tooo much, i was just thinking it was a suspension of belief kind of thing. That we were to assume it wasnt ENOUGH movement

Absolutely
The Front Man was played sooo good that i forgot that hes the frontman while watching it. I was like „he‘s sus“ but i forgot he was the frontman until episode 7
I feel like the Front Man was trying to turn Gi Hul into the next front man.
We know from season 1 that the Front Man is also a previous game winner, and in this season, he's not just manipulating Gi Hul, he's showing him the Frontman's human side, connecting to him on a more personal level like a friend, talking about his wife, how he lost his job, even slowly getting Gi Hul to understand the ideologies of those who picked to stay in the games
that exactly i was thinking , who knows the front man himself might protested like Gi hul and changed his perspective like he is trying now

Exactly.
@shadi6484 yeah that is why he was guilty after the round and asked for forgiveness
It's real human nature capitulated in most unadulterated form
My Theory Is That Front Man Appointed The Boat Captain To Protect The Island From Soldiers Detectives Etc, And Also Commanded To Save His Brothers (Jun-Ho) Life

in the second game, the main team goes last, with no one around, that mean even if they failed, the guards would just kill everyone except gi-hun and the frontman. no one will know
damn
but if that happens won't gi-hun get suspicious of the frontman and why he survived after failing?
That's why he was stalling it's not like his life is on the line
Why would they not kill Gi Hun?
@riyansaini36ah I see, but that would drastically change the plot. Instead of gi-hun being in the action he would watch and possibly would try to escape. Feel like it would take away the aspect of gi hun trying to control the outcome and the front man telling him everything he tries is futile. And ultimately it will take away from the most important message of proving that gi huns actions align with the frontmans since he's just in a control room.

If you watch the mingle game again you will see that the fromt man aka young il is left out for one round and then when the doors open again he runs back to gi hun i think that he actually never found a room but as he is the front man the guards simply let him be
But if he did that the numbers don't add up and Gi hun would have suspected that the surviving players count must be a multiple of 4.
Yea thiis is the most working theory for me, the police didnt recognize old man bcs he never saw them bcs inho is adopted

Felt absolutely nothing, but i get it, one of them will sacrifice/betrays the other or whatever in season 3 and that's why we got so much "my son is good we love each other" in season 2.
Sadly too obvious.
They took him away, but he stopped fighting it, and just went along. It's subtle and does leave it a little ambiguous.
@@RevDrTarr too "subtle" is bad when the scene last for 5sec.
With a different camera angle or whatever it could've been clearer, it's just messy edit on top of other things.
@@RevDrTarri would stop fighting too if I was out of energy and there was no point
He clearly wasn’t gonna escape
I didn't get the part about him giving up struggling when I watched it. It just seems like the guy was being hard on himself for something that wasn't really his fault.
It just merely the sons lack of acting skills and not the directors fault. A good actor could make it more convincing.
6:59 we know that he is evil. he killed one of the men that was trying to find the island and he was messing with the drone.
Shut up you didn't know that he was evil before that moment, he was just saying it was foreshadowing that he's evil.
That was after the explosion
@Hatmatisdead damn no need to get heated bro.
the scene where he knows gi hun's name without it ever being told to him is what tipped me off
Foreshadowing has entered the chat
it's kind of sad that all they had to do was warn the people that they would die if they were eliminated BEFORE they entered the game. the reason half the players wanted to stay is because they realised that the money was more valuable than their life in their current situation. but the other half, not knowing their life was on the line for the money, all had a family to look after and a future to look forward to. if the warning had been given out, only the people who picked blue would be playing the game in the first place.
The point is these games aren't fair and the choices are fake
The son did not abandon his mother, he was dragged away from her.
I do wish Season 2 was a lot longer and while I do think Season 1 was slightly better, I do have to say I really loved the direction of Season 2 and I'm excited to see the final half of the Season next year
Blame netflix for not having longer season 2.
He didn't abandon his mother, he was being dragged and time was running out and then he accepted it
This season is so much better when you forget what the frontman looks like and you think 001 is a random person
A small detail I noticed is that the number on the invitation card for player starts with 456 (the one salesman gave to youtuber) and for staff starts with 001 (the one to the girl), so that they can receive instructions and also interesting because in the game 001 represents the game organization and 456 the players
itsn symbolism. i think number 456 was to honour the winner of previous game. i mean some card in season 1 started with 030 number
@@trauty666 but there were games between s1 and s2 games, in which Gihun haven't participated.
8:32 I understood that reference
Lewis Strauss
Another thing I haven't seen mentioned is identifying the staff by the icon on their masks; triangle is armed guard, circle is labor/worker, square is administrative. Great video
this was well established by the show and by the fanbase back when S1 came out.
@sluice2015 yeah I see now, I had watched S1 way back when and didn't remember
7:15 I am so bad at remembering korean faces that I didn't realise he was the front man, I only realised it when in ep.7 he shoots the two people at the end, so for me it was pretty good
I really wanted to feel that way but I knew…. But what about those times Evil smile scenes and camera cutting him which implies he’s evil and especially at the last episode when the masked person looked at the front man , and got scared ….
What were you thinking it was ,at those times ?
I honestly was confused the whole time, I was always so unsure if he actually was the frontman lol
same lol
7:06, personal opinion, i preferred season 2 over season 1.
Samee
same me too
4:50 that's incredible attention to detail on your part. Would never have hot that one. 💯💯
This is the best recap and in depth analysis of the Squid Game 2. Can't wait for the 3rd Season of this brilliant series!
3rd will be last
I observed the one where Gi-Hun pointed at the cameras, where everyone in his team, except player 001 a.k.a. the Front Man we’re looking upwards, I had got the idea that he would go rogue!!!
PLEASE WATCH FOR THE WALL! After chaos in episode 7 and The Front Man handle it, the pink officers are back to the participants room. You can see some of the game are written on the wall just like Season 1. These are the games that they haven't played!
He didn’t abandon her I thought. He was taken beyond his will and begged to be with her.
I have something to add to this in the episode in where they play the mingle game, there is a part when the front man leaves the group and suddenly comes back after the game with out anyone with him showing he can’t lose the game because he is the boss of it.
1 minor plot hole I just realized:
Couldn't Gi-hun have let the players know that they have the chance to return to the games after voting to leave like he did in season 1? If I remember correctly, they all left after the first game and some/all were invited back.
That would provide some of the players an incentive to vote to end the games. Thoughts?
Wasnt the voting only introduced in s2
Wasnt the voting only introduced in s2
Not sure if its a plot hole. In s1 when voting to leave they did not take any money home. In s2 when voting to leave they would take money home. Therefore in s1 they had an incentive to come back. In s2 half of them would not come back because their debt would be paid. Not to mention the prize money Would be reset to 0 since it was split amongst everyone who left
@DeepFactsThinker no there was voting in season 1
@@ivyish after the first game in season 1, there was a vote actually
During the fight against the guards you can see a Camera man in episode 7 Minute 22:39 at the top Right corner
@@prussia92800nope just their negligence i watched the first season in english and they said gi-hun right
@@prussia92800 that’s why I said 'effort'.
He didn’t abandon her, they forcefully took him away, he was trying to fight against them
I think everyone since marvel decided to give more importance to quality over quantity the Canadian lad has very few marvel projects to breakdown and give us hidden details from.
Irrelevant to Squid Game
I dont think it’s Marvel who influenced how Corean’s realisator work
Very smart to add the loud jingle at the end, I was alt tabbed while listening and came to see what it was, now I'm engaging with the comments, probably how you wanted.
Great video!
To be honest, deep down i hoped the front man infiltrated the game to try to put a stop to it
9:19 Really loved that song ❤️
It's my ringtone now. Officially available
For real
PS: This game is just to clean a biological waste somewhat a concept maybe inspired from 'Blue Whale: The Suicide Challenge'
recruiter*
The Blue Whale was a hoax and the goal wasn't to "clean biological waste". The concept of eugenetics is far older.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 well said....this is the moral of the story .....
You claim to have watched this at .25x, and you still think dude abandoned his mother? Open your eyes.
There's also a Marvel easter egg- Thanos has his nails painted in order of the infinity stones that marvel Thanos had on the infinity gauntlet.
his pills are also the color of the stones
That was obviously one he said it himself
It wasn’t an Easter egg, it was a clear reference. That’s like going into a church and saying Jesus Christ on the cross is an Easter egg for being religious
he also died after when half the players died (i just made that up)
Duh!
He probably would be spared.
no he is totally evil wtf how can you even say that he isnt :D:D he is a psychopath for sure , I dont comprehend how did you say that he isnt :D calling these people trash...knowing that there are some people who arent even at fault, like this mother only trying to pay off her SONS debt and a PREGNANT woman but I guess I seriously dont understand the people who vote to keep playing KNOWING that everybody except 1 will die...cause they know that, they see that , that one guy voted to keep playing eventhough he knew his elderly mother could die....thats just another level to me, I understand their absolutely hopeless situation but I wouldnt sacrifice anybody for this also most of them were in debt bc of selfish reasons...it wasnt even a healthcare situations or something like that
? He literally the most evil man in this season
@@dudemondudeangel1956 He just said why he's not the most evil , did you even read it?
He could just retire and work in the local supermarket as a bag packer , nothing to heavy
i dont think the point you made at 7:13 is necessarily true. the fact that we know hes evil is exactly why theres more suspense when hes around the good guys.
i think a good example of what i mean is in invincible. if omni-man didnt kill the guardians of the globe in the first episode, we wouldn't be scared of him when he's around mark or anyone else. the dramatic irony was key to facilitate suspense.
6:48 Gi_Hun's smile always hit
