I have a PhD in Fine Art and it got me a job in a company as an artist and I am now a professional artist living off my skills I learnt in art university. So yes you can make it in a good career you just have to be good at it and driven to find the right job.
Going on the run was more nerve wracking and anxiety inducing than going to Prison for the first time! I got pulled over for speeding not to far from home and even called my parents to tell them I was going to jail and that I loved them! The cop read my ID and saw I was a local and gave me a warning and sent me on my way! That feeling was fucking awful followed by the best feeling in the world driving away! I’m glad those days are behind me!
Retired mortgage underwriter here. There are two categories of mortgage fraud. Fraud for loan, where you commit fraud to obtain a loan you wouldn’t otherwise qualify for. Fraud for profit, where you commit fraud to obtain cash or profits. He started out in fraud for loan but he got into big trouble when he started committing fraud for profit.

First off, I just watched Matt’s story on soft white under belly yesterday and (I’m back for more,)which I almost skipped because I read “con-man” and though, “yeah, OKAY this is gonna be some street hustle nonsense with drugs or store theft….. OH BOY WAS I 💯% WRONG, no joke! I’m an overly critical person. Matt is one of the greatest story tellers I have ever heard. I listen to a ton of podcasts while I do my 8 hours. So I feel I have a lot to draw from to compare from. I could listen to him tell stories for hours. As a brutally honest person , which most people don’t really like. I fuckin love how open and honest he is. Thanks for sharing your story Matt and being honest ! I watch a ton of true crime docs and docs where the subject is odd,tragic, etc. I could listen . As a 42 year old man who is at peace with most of my mental health issues/just the person I truly and can see it for what it is and just try and be better. Makes me feel I know where Matt is coming from. My backstory of jail and crime is different but the honest way Matt looks back is so real and honest . Peace and love 🖤

I love that you finally had Matt cox on the podcast he is a badass and his story is pretty damn wild and funny as well especially when he talks about how he tells the FBI agent good luck finding me because my license is real and a real pic of me just diff names issued by the DMV so good luck and I had plastic surgery as well lmfao
Matt is definitely a genius, an evil one that’s smart enough to reflect on and move on from. His story is 100% real and I love that, I wish him the best in life. I can’t help but like a man that can be honest with himself and not portray the antihero.
