- Let's check out this goldie FPS game from good old DICE! Who remembers it? Battlefield Bad Company running on PC using the PS3 emulator, RPCS3! 3840x2160 resolution scale. Never released on PC. Also this game basically made the XM8 famous. Check it out!

The reloads in this game are so satisfying. I hated how bc2 took away the empty reloads.

The reloads may be satisfying but unfortunately they didn't understand how bolt catches and releases work. Making the AR15 and handgun weapons unrealistic
@@IceTactics you can still operate them this way, but yeah I agree it's unnecessary to reload this way. I guess its just more appealing to look at with the arcade-like over the top action

It's funny, BC1 made it so every reload was an empty reload no matter what, and BC2 did the complete opposite

Tbf the shotguns and suppressed rifles/smgs are useless beyond close range and they all fire in a conical pattern so you can't really pull off pin point single shots even if you tried. Which kinda makes the sights pointless
The sounds in BC1 were AMAZING. Still is. I remember back then when they were doing promo for this game. They said it would have the best gun sounds ever. They really held it high. Shame they don’t put the same efforts in the games since then
Yeah. Id even go as far as to say bfbc2 was the beginning of the decline of bf as a series.
Literally insane for the time it came out. I got this game on release and I was amazed at how realistic they sounded lol. Especially how the sound of you firing would change depending on whether you were outdoors or inside a building. Pretty sure this was one of the first mainstream games to use realistic firearm sounds too. Compare it to any other mainstream shooting game in 2008 and most either have really muffled firing sounds, or just oldschool stock firing sound effects you'd commonly find in early 2000s shooting games
Ahead of its time in sound design. Still holds up to this day. This is the gold standard of gun sound design. A pinch of realism with character to each weapon. Did i mention how angry the silenced weapons sound? Pure orgasm.
Agreed. But many do no not from what i have noticed...they prefer "realism". Indistinguishable pop. Lifeless.
These are Hollywood kind of gun sounds. With character yeah. And as DICE used to say back then. They prefer fun over realism.

@@PCGamingVideos These sounds are more realistic than what most people would call "realistic" sounds, tbh. People don't realize that two different guns firing the same caliber, even out of the same length barrel, can sound completely different. The muzzle device, rate of fire, ammo pressure, etc can all make guns sound very different from each other. This game captures that perfectly. In fact, I can almost guarantee these are all raw recordings of guns actually firing, maybe with the tail cut and replaced by a separate recorded reverb track.

For example a pistol, and see if they will sound like bad company 1, no, they will sound more like beyond the wire, literally pops, but if you listen to a gun being shoot from a distance, then bad company starts to fit realism, but still

Some sound better in BFBC2. Such as the AEK,MG3. Not to forget the super dope M95 sound 🇺🇲

I’m surprised there’s chambering of the round animations for the guns in this game, but these animations aren’t in Bad Company 2 for some reason.

BFBC2 reload animation like, very light, not having the sound like in BC1.

The recoil animation in this game looks so much fun if that makes sense
The recoil on most of the weapons is absolutely jarring and earth-shattering.
The sound effects are much better than CoD4 & WaW.
I like how they just didn't care about making the guns accurate in the interest of making it more fun. Full auto M16A2 with a 50 round magazine? Fuck it!
Pp2000 firing at literally double the real life versions rate of fire(in game is about 1200rpm while the real life one is 600rpm) with a 20 round mag that holds 60 rounds
I can say this game is way better than 2042

BC1 is the best fps campaign I have ever played. It's charming, funny, and doesn't take itself too seriously. Not saying the game is perfect tho it is still has some of it flaws, like:
1) limited weapon sandbox (because the game is using the kit system from multiplayer instead of pickup weapon)
2) the graphics looks muddy (thankfully the sequel improves it with its colorful graphics)
3) no coop (like seriously no local or splitscreen coop at all and it is a HUGE missed opportunities)
4) clunky controls and movement (which makes fighting chopper can be incredibly frustating)
But despite all of that it is my top 10 favourite fps I have ever played, and my 2nd favourite battlefield game (and all of that only for its campaign and. I can't say anything about multiplayer since I never play it)
I think the graphic are look better in BC1 than BC2, it looks more realistic to me

It's a shame that many never got the F2000😥😥
I remember that one being a pain to get. All the other unique guns were easy though. The UZI was the funnest to get because all you needed to do was play the demo multi-player until you reached level 5 or something.

I like these even more than MW19 ones.
correct me if im wrong, but i believe theres 5 weapons in multiplayer that are impossible or nearly impossible to unlock because they were part of a promotional website and such. they were the F2000, the UZI, the M60, the QBU-88 and the USAS-12 i believe. because of that, i dont think we will see a multiplayer weapon showcase

Yeah. Actually the f2000 is the only one that is straight up impossible, even back in the days when i still cared about battlefield. It required your ea account to have 5? Bf games registered. The other ones were easier to get, but its been more than a decade since then. Back when having loyalty to a series actually mattered, yknow.
The F2000 required you to have an EA account that previously played one of the PC games since BFBC1 was a console only game. The codes for the rest are shared.
@@adimain0340 our only hope is that some lucky person that actually has all the weapons including the F2000 makes a weapon showcase in the future, or maybe one of those people could borrow a showcase channel some clips of the F2000 idk
It is possible to use those weapons in singleplayer with the use of mods by changing the loadouts or placing them in the map as pickups.
This is the best sounding BF to date. This was the start of a hungry DICE team. The OGs from this era of DICE is now gone, sadly.

It is in 4K resolution. Not even Xbox One or SX renders it this good.

Kinda wondering when someone would cover this game, but little disappointed you couldn’t do the multiplayer weapons. I don’t know if it may be due to you not having them unlocked but if that is the case you can actually buy Battlefield Bad Company gold edition which gives you all the guns excepts a few, might be worth looking into if you haven’t already… :)
I think all the MP weapons except the Find All Five guns are in SP

THIS. I find it odd that there's not a single video going along the lines of "Max Payne 3 All Weapons" even after 9 years.
First time with emulator showing weapons.
Hopefully they bring both the SPAS-15 (which was only in the first Bad Company for some reason) and the TOZ-194 (which was only on the campaign) into Battlefield Portal eventually.
The best Singleplayer campaign in a Battlefield game. Too bad the sequel cut the meat down to the bones, too linear gameplay, and not as many weapons in Bad Company 2's campaign compared to Bad Company 1's. Ever since, DICE has struggled to make a campaign worthy of Bad Company 1's.
