I appreciate how Nikki treats Camper like a friend instead of a pet. He's seriously one lucky dude.
Roy B, I would go as far to say that Camper is her ‘fur-son’…more than a friend!
Camper brings joy to Nikki. He owns her. She knows.
@@jamesbockenstette4332
Absolutely no argument with that statement!
You can tell how he's treated and how he doesn't snap at her food that he's so well behaved. Nikki is such a good soul.
@@one567 Sole is underside of your foot. Underside of a shoe. Sole is also as singular/only one. Soul as in the human spirit.
You wouldn’t think someone who live out of Prius would be so happy and enthusiastic. Her smile and charm is infectious. Proof you don’t need a big house and an expensive car to find your happy place!
There is nothing more free than being on the road and moving from place to place it's the home owners that you should be saying this to
Not to mention she has over 500 subs a d making 6 figures a month
for the time she has spent, incredible. long term, i don't think that is her goal though. She is young and adventurous, no husband, no kids, just a dog. She may never want either, but at least she is doing it when she is young and she is able to do it. You tubers have something people that wanted to do this don't have. making a living and exploring at the same time. I couldn't do this, but she can and does.
@@ronbarber197 I doubt she's making $100,000 plus a month
@@marshahampel1645 I would agee, probably not even close
Man, I seriously appreciate the love you’re showing to Michigan. Especially the UP, it truly is a magical, beautiful place. It’s just a place to feel good.
The UP is my favorite spot in this part of the US. Copper Harbor, Iron Mountain, Marquette all amazing places with tons of great things to do and see.
thanks Nikki when i am having a bad day i watch you and camper and it sure does help!!!!!
Worked in a State park in Michigan a very very long time ago. We had to shut the restrooms down in the morning due to water pressure going too low. Which meant toilets wouldn’t flush, good times then. So, that could be the reason as most parks use well water and the pumps aren’t that powerful. First year of college was at Michigan Tech in Houghton.
Interesting. Keeping that in mind, for those who can stay in camping places where there is toilets, sinks, and, esp. showers!!
Love how Camper is ready for anything you do ♥️ Truly a loyal companion ♥️🐶
Man. three Michigan videos. Our travel commission needs to put you on the payroll. You've showcased more of our awesome state than I've ever seen them showcase.
🥰🥰🥰 thank you!!!
@NikkiDelventhal would do some AMAZING 'pure michigian' ads
Love your videos, to answer your question... The age old debate about ketchup or gravy, it's neither. Traditionally it was jam, pasties were first made in Cornwall in the south west of the UK back in 1200s. They were made for workers as a complete meal, with meat and vegetables in one side and jam in the other as a dessert.
So glad you are showing Michigan so much love Nikki!! It is truly a beautiful place and so much more than many folks know. Incredible Great Lakes, amazing sunsets, and lots of woods, streams, and rivers. Glad you are showing the world what a beautiful place it is. Be safe, tell Camper hello, and keep making great videos!!! Matthew
I'm from Marquette, MI. I've been jumping off the Black Rock Cliffs since I was a kid. I now enjoy the local Black Rocks brewery more often than the cliff jumping. The pasty debate.... It's got to be ketchup. I'm glad you enjoyed my home.
I’m from Frankfort/Traverse City area. My son is moving to Marquette at the end of this month, he loves it up there!
I just partook in a Razzle Rabbits and a honey lav after my recent jump this past weekend atthe Ore 2 Shore race! Some of my favorite Marquette activities. Also loved the renos on the Black Rocks Brewery!

I love you taking us along sharing your adventures, as you travel USA!
Gotta tell you, just jumping into the water is the best way to get in. Sorta like ripping off a band aid.
Wanted to offer a suggestion, not trying to be a jerk.
Varsity Technique -
Don't plug your nose with your fingers when jumping in water...
As a former Red Cross certified Life Guard & swim instructor, try this instead:
Just before you contact the water, do a quick pump of your lungs, sorta like a very short duration blow of your nose. Almost like blowing your nose. It dos not have to be long, only a fraction of a second. It does not have to be super forceful either, and can even be just an easy exhale w/o expelling all or a significant amount of air in your lungs.
Once your head is submerged, it does not matter. as your body's velocity will slow significantly by the hydrodynamic drag the deeper you sink. The anatomy of the human body will naturally keep any water going up your nose.
Use this technique with both methods getting into water as described below:
Head first - This leaves both hands free, and allows the extension of your arms above your head allowing them to pierce the water before your head enters, streamlining the entry in the H2O.
Feet First - Your palms and fingers (each hand) should be tightly touching your outer thighs. This allows you to extend your back, head and shoulders into a perpendicular (If you hold them horizontally your arms can painfully slap the water, and even bruise.)
I don't recommend holding them above your head as it can cause the involuntary exhale of air you want to retain in your lungs, which allows you to stay under longer and reach lower depths in the water.
If you are holding the GoPro, bend your elbows at the waist, hands up, almost cradle-ing the camera hand grip 12 inches away from your body. This will produce the best live action for your streams.
Using this approach is much more comfortable, and natural, The more you do this you create the muscle memory and will just become second nature, each time you go swimming.
All the best,
Mo-
We just spent three weeks in the UP. Love the area, hikes, food, and the local businesses. By the way… gravy. Love watching your adventures
Upper Peninsula Michigan looks like a beautiful place! Cheers from Sweden.
ua-cam.com/video/xwHqvJpTOP0/v-deo.html
Thanks for sharing your UP adventures, I have been working and camping in the UP for nearly 40 years and it is one of my favorite places to travel. Bob
Thank you and camper so much for spending time in the Upper Peninsula
Ohhhh Nikki … try the Moka espresso stainless coffee maker! No need for a paper filter. Just fill bottom with water, put coffee grinds in stainless steel filter, trust on top and put over flame (I use my JetBoil). No mess and super easy cleanup. The coffee tastes so good!
Looking like your knee is healed.
Love that you’re back doing fun stuff. I’m loving watching you guys travel and partaking in the local fun.
Instant Happiness when you see Nikki & Camper
As a Michigander I'd say gravy is the only way to eat a Pasty. Glad you are enjoying the Great State of Michigan.
I disagree, a Cornish pastie from the UK is better than what America has. Even though a pastie actually originated from Cornwall. They only way is to eat them hot with a splash of vinegar & ketchup 👏
Agree, good with the gravy 💗👍
I used to live in the Marquette area back in the 80s. We would go to Presque Isle and have pizza, walk along the beach, and watch the ore boats load at the dock. I was so wonderful there. I’m glad you managed to visit the area.
Had to watch after seeing the caption for the UP, lived in Marquette for 4 years while stationed in the US Coast Guard . One of the most beautiful places to live (Winters can be a little brutal) Thank you for a walk back down memory lane!
Just camped there Friday and Saturday! Marquette is magical. Brought a friend from TN - we mountain biked, paddleboarded, and of course jumped blackrocks. So glad you were able to experience it.
That is one lucky and happy dog!!! Thanks for all the videos Nikki. You are my favorite watch
A Michigander here...Pasties are best with gravy, especially in the winter months....the best comfort food ever! They warm you up from the inside out!
I love this girl. And camper!!
I can't believe Camper has been to more places than I have been. Beautiful scenery, take it easy on those knees. Take care, and thanks for sharing your day with us. Love your personality.
I'm from/ in Michigan, and so far your doing everything right. Food, views, activities, keep up the good content.
Thank you!!!!
@@NikkiDelventhal your welcome. Wish iit were more.❤️
Hi Nikki! Put the coffee grounds in the boiling water, then put the filter over it and pour it into your cup! No mess, no burns!
We are back to talking about pasties again👍 The classic pasty doesn’t have carrot but did it have swede? As a pasty ‘expert’ from Devon, England & with Cornwall ( the land of the pasty!) on my doorstep I am a ketchup man👍 keep those pasties coming Nikki👍😁
it looked like a pretty good approximation of a proper cornish pasty to me! when the miners left cornwall and went all over the world to work on mines they bought their pasties with them so now you get them all over the place. i think i saw swedes in this one but didn’t spot carrot, they are not allowed in the real thing! adding any kind of sauce is a crime against pasties, they must be eaten hot straight from the bag! oggy oggy oggy!
@@mattabbfal oi, oi,oi👍
Pasties are eaten on their own without condiments. They were popular with people working in Cornish tin mines as they were a complete meal that could be carried easily and eaten without cutlery, often having a savoury section and a sweet section.
The UP is so highly underrated. Glad you're really enjoying it and showing everyone how awesome a place it is.
Sometimes it's hard to know who is having more fun, Nikki or Camper......I've come to just think the answer is 'Yes'.
Nikki, I'm happy for you that came up to Upper Peninsula of Michigan!
I love how Camper include You in his videos😜 Love the videos, be safe🙏🏼
Michigan is so awesome! Not sure where you’re off to after this but I did road trips to Door County and the Apostle Islands/Madeline Island (all in Wisconsin) this summer and they did not disappoint! Thanks for sharing your and Camper’s adventures. I look forward to it every Friday!
Ohhhhh yes those are also amazing! Definitely worth visiting.
THANK YOU for showcasing my Upper Michigan! I love living here.
Congratulations on cliff diving Nikki 😃 ! I've always wanted to do it & one day will. Awesome 👌
I love how upbeat you are with even the smallest daily task. Thanks guys (just love Camper!!)
Much respect to you Nikki! We could learn a lot from you with your of temporal and emotional well being. You are very awesome!
Haha, even in the middle of summer, Lake Superior is c-c-COLD!! Thanks for showing everyone how awesome my state is! Cheers!
The UP is a fantastic place. That looks like the island off of Marquette in the state park. Great place to hangout. Look for agates while you’re out there. Presque Isle Park is interesting because it’s “dog free.”
Every time I think I might want to put exploring behind me for a while, I just watch your videos and my mind is back on track..Thank You, Nikki.
Fear of jumping off cliffs is NOT irrational!😂
Fear of jumping off of a perfectly good cliff is definitely rational, and wise.
@@robinblackmoor8732 what if all the cool people are doing it?
Ketchup! Congratulations on breaking through a fear like that, cliff diving or jumping is all about trusting that area they know won’t hurt you. I also saw you drank LaClare Family Creamery’s goat milk. I live 30-45 minutes from there and also distributed the goat milk for around 10 years! Hope you enjoy it! Peace out but peace within or without you choose! Pasties to camper!
WOW!!! This video brings back so many memories for me. My aunt and uncle used to have a cabin on the upper peninsula, Mackinac Island to be exact., I remember when I was a kid spending my summers at their cabin, their cabin was positioned perfectly, on one side was lake Michigan, and on the other side was the Platte River. You couldn't ask for much better. Great memories. I remember my Uncle Chris talking about Marquette Michigan too. Thank you for the video Nikki. 👍🙏

Sushi is a fabulous breakfast! Not weird at all! And Camper is number one! Could not ask for a better friend!
How fun fun fun! And the fact that Camper always knows his mark and lines is impressive. Almost as if hes a SAG card holding member. Its like were there everytime. Love these Nikki, thank you two.

If you loved cliff jumping, you should stop at the redgranite quarry in Redgranite, WI. It's about an hour away from Oshkosh. You will love it!
I'm becoming addicted to your channel! Watching you embrace the challenges of living in a Prius is truly inspiring. You show that a life in progress is can be a joyful adventure. Camper makes your channel stand out. Thank you so much!
I'd watch even if she switched up to something bigger than a Prius. lol

Thank you for sharing, Caamper is beyond cute, he is presiously Adorable.
Please be careful lovely lady; cold water shock really is ‘a thing’, and you can so easily find yourself in trouble. (I’m a retired Police Officer who worked in an area where lots a folk decided to go for a swim in local waterways, and a few of them every year never came back alive.)
Truth......I jumped in a high mountain Wyoming lake fed by snow melt water. In late August the cold water shock was so intense I couldn't control my breathing and swallowed a bunch of water. Barely made it back to safety choking, gasping and swallowing more water. I was lucky and will never risk another ice water dive again.
You and Camper are an awesome couple, a unique human and animal expierence. You know each other so well now and trust one another so much. All your travels, are such a nice videolog. You have a lot of charisma, thank you for your the video, of the upper peninsula.👩🎥👀
You’re doing a bang up job of showing off Michigan thank you! Love from Traverse City ❤️
Thank you! XOXOXO
Luv the way Camper looks back over his shoulder, to make sure you are okay.
I really look forward to your vlogs nikki ❤️ thank you for creating all this joyful content for your fans❤️💫
Thank you so much!!!!
We always put mustard based "chow-chow" on our pasties. Swimming in Lake Superior is a challenge - it is really, really cold!
Love me a pasty (in the UK it's called a Cornish Pasty) and I love it with HP 'brown sauce' which tastes better than it sounds. Well done with the cliff jumping, not sure I'd have had the nerve. I really enjoy following the venture of Nikki and Camper Delventhal so stay safe and happy trails. 👍
Don’t forget the Devon pasty too & with ketchup 👍
Devon pasty? No, never heard of it. . 😂😂
@@luigis1233 you have now 👍😂😂
It’s so awesome to see someone who smiles so much. Rare quality these days. Great video.
my grandfather John Patrick Jewel senior was the geologist at the Le Rouge mine Michigan.the coalminers Pasty was wrapped in tinfoil and because of the potatoes it would keep the rest of the ingredients hot down in the cold mine for a very long time.I just posted a new video of how to survive off grid sometimes you have to work.
My mom always put rutabaga in pasty’s, too!
Awesome 👌 I'd like that too. I just wrote my 83 years old father about Pasties and 🇨🇦 Canada dry cream soda.😄
camper is the luckiest dog on earth to have you as his human mom. thanks again for taking care of him.
I just love you and Camper so much! I have my daughter watching you now too, she also loves your videos! I'm so proud of you being so brave to cliff jump, that's a scary thing to do! Looking forward to more adventures, thank you for sharing your life with us! Sending lots of love and hugs and hope and peace 🥰😘💘
Omg I was sooooo scared! Thank you!! Love and hugs back to you and your daughter!!!!
Camper loves you SO much Nikki!!!
When did you get Starlink & when did you get a Moon Shade, do you love it Nikki & think it is better than attaching an awning to an SUV or Van or a Truck?? Congrats on the Starlink 👍 Pasty from Lawry’s is so good, I had them when I was a child living in Wisconsin and would travel to Michigan for camping trips or cross-country skiing ⛷ trips. So good you tried a variety of them.
🤣😂🤣Camper 🐕 taking the sticks from the not lit fire 🔥 pit, he is too cute 💗
That was nice of you to get all those sticks ready for camper.
Love your videos, so much fun. Safe travels.
Nikki succeds in making the mainland look as friendly as an island and camper
I always wondered how do you keep the ticks off of you and Camper? I remember when you found him. I love your adventures!
Neither ketchup or gravy for me. My go to with a pasty, or any sort of savoury pie, is salad 💚
Cliff jumping is one of my favourite things in the world. So much fun, empowering and makes you feel alive! Well done for conquering your fear 🤘🏼
Beautiful video. I love following you. Michigan was my home state until the winters drove me to Arizona. Do you have a video showing all the different gadgets you use for recording? I would love to know how you do it. Give Camper a belly rub from me 😘
Hello dear how are you doing?
Love you guys!!! Camper is the absolute cutest!! Be careful with letting him have sticks in his mouth. Just read an article about the damage a stick can do to a dog’s mouth. ❤️🐶
Fun vlog. Enjoyed seeing you have fun without knee pain. Held my breath when you offered Camper bites of your food. Looked like onions on the first pastry. 😬 No onions, raisins, avocado etc for dogs
Carol: good reminder!
Thanks Meredith. I didn't want to step on toes. Especially since I don't know how much Nikki is aware. I get the impression Camper might be her first dog.
I LOVED the jump off the rock into the water. Doesn't that give you butterflies in your stomach? It does me. Camper is such a jock. Watch him run and keep up with your bike. Such.a good boy!
Love you, Love Camper, Love your show, and Love Starlink!! I'm a big fan of yours - stay cool and safe Nikki - looking forward to your next adventure. :)

i believe he came into my life from my Heavenly Father Love to remind me what it is to be loved and now i am becoming a better person learning lessons everyday about being loved, giving love, be thankful, being patient, knowing what is like to have someone with me, like i said to love me unconditionally, give me a kisses hugs on a moments notice and for me to give it all back in return
Look forward on the next adventures take care much love respect for you both lots of hugs kisses for camper
You and Camper are Forever a Joy
Great vid! Do you have a new camera? The clarity is awesome! Also what kind of underwater camera did you use?
Thanks! Love you and camper!
U won’t believe it but I use my iPhone!!! GoPro for water!
@@NikkiDelventhal thanks!!! Carry on with happy trails!
Sushi - Breakfast of Champions!!! Pasties were invented in England for miners to take into the mines for lunch. Because their fingers were often covered with some sort of poison used in gold morning, so they would hold the crust areas and eat the middle throwing out the crust. Camper is a rock star!!! Enjoyed the heck out of this video, Thanks Nikki.
I'm so glad to see a female stay true to being a wholesome example .
That moon shade is sooooooo sick
I would offer a minor correction, as when you stated that you had an irrational fear of cliff jumping....oh no, that is a totally, completely, 100% rational fear!
I used to be on the road a lot. I started using Folgers coffee singles for my morning coffee. Like tea bags but with coffee grounds. Tastes like real coffee but with no mess. They come individually wrapped in a box of 20. Just use and throw the bag!
Being concerned about cliff jumping is not irrational but nevertheless, I am glad you are feeling impowered.
I loved driving across the UP when I first had my RV. Went all the way to the north tip .. Truly Gods Country! ❤️ Love watching your adventures!

That's a a beautiful sea of green view. Those are the Great Lakes right over there, the dark blue ones.
Gravy or plain but never ketchup! It is a Cornish mining dish.
Ketchup and melted butter on my pasties. 2 of my Great Grandpas were copper miners, so pasties are a family food. Mom made hers with sirloin steak, potatoes (that Dad grew), diced onions, and I add carrots. Traditionally made pasties have also rutabaga in them.
Love this video of my old stomping grounds. Can’t wait to see the video of you up there in winter😉 Really enjoy watching your videos. So cool how much Camper is enfolded in them. Keep up the good work, Nikki.
I’m really glad your knee is doing so much better. Thanks for another fun video!
Hey Nikki, my wife and I live on a ranch in Spearfish SD with our dogs. If you are ever in the area, your welcome to hangout with one of the most amazing views you will ever see
Hi Nikki, I have HP sauce on my Pasty, I have to make them myself because you can't buy classic pasties in Vancouver. Nikki I'm sure you already found out that the Pasty was brought to Michigan by miners from Cornwall in England, the reason for them was so they could be eaten down the tin mines by holding the crust in their dirty hand and throwing the crust away afterwards.
So much fun to watch you enjoy the Upper Midwest. While I haven't been to the UP, I live in NW WI, surrounded by lakes & the beautiful Blue Hills.
FYI: My concern watching your (awesome) video is the upper Midwest is endemic tick country so plz be careful to check for ticks or at least shower after hanging out in grassy areas. You're pup can transfer ticks to you if he is treated with tick preventative. My life, my health was ruined bc of Chronic Lyme & Bartonella. If you get ill with a fever or feel unwell up to 4-6 weeks later, or a rash, please consider tick infection & get tested. Tick borne infections have ruined many lives.
Love that I just found your channel today. It's fantastic. Love your energy & fun personality..For those of us unable to partake in a lifestyle filled with so much activity its wonderful to watch someone else do so.
Loved Camper's reaction to the veggie pasty !!!
Jean Kay's pasty shop is my favorite. And definitely with gravy.
My sister and I just went there! It was very good. I have eaten more than my share of pasties also. The crust was the best I have ever had.
Just came back from vacation cabin with my puppy from north Arizona . You're cliff diving, content and B roll is awesome. Camper rocks. Cheers to U 2
Hi Nikki. I was on time for class this morning. Loved the video as usual!!!! Great courage making the jump!!!! Getting better all the time. You rock the YT world!!!!! KEN
Thanks so much, Ken!
Lawry's Pasty Shop was originally located west of Ishpeming and was called Madilyns Pasty. Madilyn was my mom's best friend. When she past, her son Roger took over the business and added the Marquette location. Glad it stayed open. The recipe was given to my mom and has been handed down throughout my whole family. We have anual Pasty making events to this day.
I LOVE your Moon Shade Nikki! What a great invention.
The most carefree awesome person ever, awesome travels and adventures. Thank you so much for sharing. 💕
