Haha, "hair is going up" seems to be the equivalent to "shirt off for extra power", I saw that in anna hazelnuts most recent video too (the hair up, not the shirt off, obviously) Very cool video, great concept, and I hope there will be a follow up "4 climbers vs 1 ninja" in one of their gyms too!
Great video, and such a good job campusing that blue! I started off doing Ninja Warrior type stuff and a bit of parkour and it really gave me a head start when I began climbing, especially with dynamic stuff. The progress in climbing when you start to understand the techniques and mix them with the courage to move dynamically from ninja stuff is so much more fun to experience in my opinion (:
I’m really keen to try more ninja warrior training and incorporate it into my climbing training more - I absolutely agree that it gives you SUCH a good foundation for new school bouldering and could be such a confidence builder!
@@hannahmorrisbouldering yessssss! i am now fully hyped. its really fun honestly. the super dynamic nature of it is so different to climbing but just super enjoyable
Man even as a dynamic jumpy climber I never ever think to do dyno with both hands it’s just so awkward unless completely needed but then on pink all the ninjas just doing it at their first instinct
Such a sick video! It's really cool seeing you climb on problems that I'm familiar with (this is my home centre)... makes it even clearer how amazing you are! I gave up immediately on that last pink one but this has definitely inspired me to give it another go (if they haven't taken it down yet).
Do give it another go! Felt really tricky and tenuous, but really satisfying! Have you tried the first pink one? Wanted to go back to try and finish that off but it’s so tough at the top. 😊
@@hannahmorrisboulderingI'll definitely try my best on it... yeah it looked incredibly satisfying when you did it - so controlled!! I tried the first pink one a couple of weeks ago and was happy to get the first few moves, but couldn't manage the top sadly :( I'm pretty terrified of falling so always find it hard to commit to difficult moves like that high up!
I wanna see you climb more slabs like the fifth one, was super interesting to watch. The one foothold no handhold move (idk what to even call it) at 27:48 made me say "what" out loud.
Hannah's progress from the start of her channel is so inspiring !
Thank you! 🥰
That third climb seemed a challenge with only arms. Was impressed with that. So cool Hannah. :)
Thanks so much Clive! Felt absolutely desperate haha! ☺️😮💨
Epic session. Thanks for letting us share the journey.
Glad you enjoyed it. It was so much fun learning about Ninja and watching dynamic movement in action!
Thank you soooo much for having us! 💪😁 got some strength, now we need some technique 😅
Thanks for coming along! You’ll be dancing up the wall in no time! 💃😊

That’s the plan! They need to teach me some ninja skills for sure. Really glad you liked the video, thanks so much for supporting my commenting 😊
Lets go!!!!!
Hannah, you’re campus was ace! Nice work ❤
Thank you! 🥰
really great to watch! it's so cool to see how the ninjas incorporated their skills into the climbs, that yellow at the end was insane!
Ninjas are so great at committing to dynamic moves I realised, and trusting their feet. So impressive
It's like a highjump in athletics... you have to run fast and transform the speed-energy into hight.
.
Yo that last Red was nuts! Well done Hannah! such a good session with the Ninja Such a good idea for a video.
Thank you! It was a fun one to film 😊
Haha wild to see the biggest most jacked dude ending up being the best at like delicate slab climbing on these small holds aye :D
💃
Henry is an absolute machine!

Awesome video hannah, love the longer format videos like this. But now we have to see you doing a ninja course...
I really want to get into Ninja training! Fingers crossed there’s a video in the pipeline at Henry’s ninja gym!

Great thumbnail with all of you on the wall as a single captured image! pulled me in like a vacuum cleaner :-)

The Ninjas showed remarkable skill on the wall! And what a great send on the final yellow, Hannah!
Thanks Daniel. The ninjas are naturals! They’ll be out climbing me in no time. 💪
My hands started sweating just from watching you guys😅
that last climb looks so fun, always find slabs more technically interesting
My local, yay. Great video!
It’s a great gym! Very different to my usual style with all the volumes and macros.
This came out incredibly!!! Such an awesome challenge, I'm still so impressed with your climbing skills Hannah, I've got a LONG way to go!! 😅😅💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Thanks Henry! Looking forward to trying my hand at Ninja at HC:FIT 👀
You’re a natural at climbing! You’d be out climbing me in no time at all. 😊
@@hannahmorrisbouldering i wouldnt go that far... 🤣🤣
Woop woop, cant wait!! 😁💪🏾💪🏾
@@hcfit1 I thought there was a familiar face in this! Looking forward to seeing the reverse Ninja vs Climber video :)
You can campus like that?! Whaaaat!! Impressed ♥️
This was so fun to watch 😊

Keen to see Hannah's eventual beta for that pink 🤞
Strong work on the campus too!
The effort on the pink outstandingly splendid to see...!
This is an awesome video! Thank you sooo much for having us! It was so much fun to train with you!! 🙌✌️🥷
It was amazing climbing with you! Hope you enjoyed it and hopefully train again with you soon!😊😊🥰
@@hannahmorrisbouldering I loved it! Yes hopefully! ❤️😁
Met you recently in Manchester Depot, keep up the good work!
Ah! Nice to meet you. 😊😊

Bouldering is hard and requires strength and skill, great video
Thanks Marco!
1:30 "crimpy holds" are 4 massive slopers
Great video ! It would be fun to see a video where you went to the Ninja gym too ! :)
That would be very cool! One day 😊
I think it shows that climbing can be good cross-training for ninja warrior and visa-versa.
Agreed. I definitely thing doing more Ninja would help my climbing, and my confidence whilst climbing!
On Ash's first red he slipped into a a separate routes hole (black hold) and technically didn't "flash" it.
Grading is super hard at Armley for some reason, great to see you at my home gym :)
Great home gym! Thought things did feel a little tricker than I’m used to at Depot but it was a good challenge!
Danke!
Smart use of the rules by them! ;)
Ninja skills extend into teamwork too apparently! 😅
Great thumbnail!
Thanks!
The person with the blue shirt seems so nice
I thought the coach was another Magnus in disguise video
epic
Time to invent the toe-tipsy for him. 10:03
Hahah it already exists in my climbing lexicon! 😊
The pink one in the corner...
Where have i heard that one before?
Song @ 14.03?
welp if anyone is wondering... its "gotta have it"😂
Ahhhhhh sorry I missed this - glad you found it
13:41 - been watching too much Magnus :p
Nice entertaining video ♥. I found myself skipping through the video a lot though. The chit-chats in between were a bit too long.
Fair enough! I'll bear that in mind. :)
Its my local I wish I could've seen u guys there
It’s a fun gym! Lucky to have it as your local 😊
Why only 2 attempts not four?
We were trying to make it harder for me, to make up in the experience gap!
I’m not sure “come on” is as inspiring as people think 😂🤣
Nice video though
wow, the gym where I go, those are super easy and V0. well at the end is a business, you will not attempt to scare your customers.
You reckon?
Why is there always this kind of comment? Do you want a medal?
@@leebass7 Maybe he meant the colours, so his gym sets the easiest problems with pink holds, who knows?
