Agreed. I had fun with the game at launch. Framerate kind of sucked and there were some bugs but nothing game breaking for me. The latest patch improved the game significantly though. I think it is currently what it was supposed to be at launch. Too bad they took this long to get it better.

The young people who see the world around them and hate it, dreaming of being the best edgerunner NC ever saw, and kicking corpos in the teeth along the way. Shit, most of the music on this station make me want to storm the Arasaka building with my foot kicking down the front door
I love how on some of these songs they slightly distorted the lyrics and used an older sounding guitar distortion, something you'd hear from the 80s and 90s. I always assumed this was supposed to feel like in universe 2020s music.

It's a travesty that developers nowadays release unpolished and unfinished games, and then wonder why consumer confidence is at an all time low. Imagine a pizza place serving you an undercooked pie and then telling you, "you can eat it now and it'll taste awful and doughy, we just wanted you to have something to eat because you're hungry and we need to get through customers quickly so we can start making money back on our investment quickly". No. Serve us the damn pizza when it's damn ready. Don't serve this undercooked garbage and expect people to be happy.
Also have to remember that CDPR put the game on sale all the way back in June 2019, then kept delaying it "for polish", and then released the most ridiculous fucking mess full of glitches. And of course there was that massive disconnect between what their marketing presented the game as and what they actually delivered. And just to top it off, one of their executives told the press that it actually ran quite well on last gen consoles before launch when it released in a state bad enough that Sony took it off the store. But playing the game now, on a 12700k with a 3080 graphics card and 21 months of post-launch support, it's actually not terrible, aside from a few bad design decisions and some awful UI choices.

Regardless what you thought of the launch ...this game had 10/10 for music.
only thing missing was 90s hip hop, i know it would not fit very well after 80 years but it would be cool.

Cyberpunk itself was the product of the 80's, so it could be they decided to use some of that as a bit of a throwback and a nod to it's origins.
Couldn't figure out why I fell in love with all the Samurai songs, now that I see it's by the refused and it all makes sense now
