For whatever reason I like Archangel more with the instrumental version ahead of it. It's like an extended intro that gets you into the vibe, energizes you, and helps make you even more cranked up for when the lyrics hit. I get the idea of having this big impact with no intro, but I like the feeling of the growing riot suddenly moving with its unified rallying cry. Rest of the songs are also absolute fire, Chippin' In: old school version especially with it's "cool, confident badass swagger" to compliment the "warrior's rage" of the "main" version, but that Archangel thing really struck me here compare to the song on its own. Compilation rocks! Greatly appreciate it having been made!

Black Dog is the song that reminds me of the end of John Wick 2. Wick’s got an hour to do what he needs before he’s hunted by every soul in the city with nothing but his quadriped canine companion with him. Literally the hunted hunter on the run. Fits too well
Archangel and Black Dog are legitimately some of my favorite fucking songs at this point. These are all really great, but those two take the cake for me.

i wondered why they had that setup as well but if you look at what Samurai was suppose to be it makes sense. Mike Pondsmith explains how it went from like 1980s kinda synth goth rock (i think that's the term he uses) into an anarchistic post hardcore band (The Refused) changed up the "Samurai" sound lol

I like how kerry's remix is like a cheap modern pop version of the original punk version of chippin in. Perfect world building and characterization for what happened to kerry's music career and people from johnny's era.

Having listened to all of it multiple times I think I appreciate the Kerry quests in the game even more now. I especially love the line ‘’all I did was…have a good time. That’s it.’’ Plus there’s boat drinks, I loved the first time I heard him just noodling away and you realise how good Kerry actually is. I like both the Samurai and Eurodyne versions of Chippin’ In (even though the latter doesn’t even really sound like a cover of the original), but Kerry’s just sounds better to me. Samurai’s version is great, but the use of the riff as the baseline and the drum groove in Kerry’s just sounds better. They’re really different songs through, they aren’t much alike.
I hope they'll release Cyberpunk 2120 before Lyxzen decides he had enough and leaves to exist in a secluded cave. An awesome work, Refused at its finest!

I love Kerry's Chippin' In, but at the same time it has a lore accurate "Kid Rock-style-remix nobody asked for" feel. Having said that, it's almost like the lyrics tell Johnny and V's story. The first verse and chorus are Johnny hyping himself up, the second verse is V entering the picture and getting the Relic, and the second chorus is Johnny telling V to step up and be strong.

Eurodyne's version is much better than Refused's. It gives off more Cyberpunk vibe. And it was recorded by almost an underground guy from Poland which is more in line with Samurai than using full blown, financially successful band to do this job.
