The music was so soothing that I almost want to go back to bed. :) I just got my first Distress Spritz, but I am going to try and use more of my Distress Mica stains before I buy more. I am looking forward to Wednesday to see what awesome tags you make with some of the backgrounds you made today. Thank you, Debbie - happy you forgive me for not talking, and sorry to hear you've got the Christmas Cold too. I enjoy the Distress Mica Stains just as much as the Spritzes to be honest. They're certainly more colourful (given the liquid is pigmented as well as the mica powder), but I do like the icy colour palette I ended up with here. Hope you feel better soon too!
I was dubious at first, but pleasantly surprised at the finished backgrounds. Really nice! I especially like the tags that were cut from the larger sheets. I had a few moments of doubt myself, but by the end I loved the icy winter colour palette of this collection of backgrounds. And yes, I love the randomness when you cut tags from a larger background - those can be really exciting decisions to make. Thanks so much for watching, commenting, and for your well wishes.

Hello, Hello! I happened to get up extra early from going to bed so early so had my phone in hand when the notification came of your video posting. Admittedly I wasn’t fully alert so between the delightfully calming bird songs and it being 3:00 AM here I’m ready to go back to bed! Sorry to hear you’re battling a cold - glad you were able to get some playtime in despite not feeling your best. I did the play by play in my head for you as after spending time having fun these last few months, I could hear your ooohs & aahhs and maybe an occasional hmm… I love the color combination of the blues and purples together that you used and it was even more delightful on the white card. I like using tags and the Dylusions journals and how the colors have a soft, vintage feel to them but there’s something striking about how the colors come to life against a white background and they take center stage. I’m glad you were able to get and play with the new Spritzes. I still haven’t gotten them swatched yet but I was glad the storage tins were finally released so after I swatch them I will store them in those tins by color rather than by release… same for the pencils that I haven’t done yet either! 😮😂😊 Take Care, Alison… I hope you get feeling better very soon - Vitamin C has always helped me ward off and/or fight a cold. I hope you have a restful, relaxing weekend and I will look forward to Tag Time on Wednesdays… I do love your catchy video titles! 🙂
Thank you so much, Sue... yes, I got hooked on Tag Tuesday because of the alliteration, of course, but I'm pleased to have converted to Tag Time... and if I'm late filming for Wednesday any week, then it can also be Tag Time on Thursdays!! There were definitely a few "hmmms" alongside the "ooohs" and "aaahs" - clever of you to hear those! But in the end, as a collection, I'm pretty pleased with the icy colour palette of backgrounds I ended up with. I agree that the white card and paper gives the colours a brilliance the manila doesn't always allow for, which is especially good in winter. Happy swatching when you get round to it, and have a great weekend.
