I played Guzzler all the time at my dad's store. He had one in the back and was his favorite game. I'm not sure if it was a conversion kit or not since it was the 80s. I've looked up a lot of stuff and only saw ads for the conversion kit.
That's so awesome you got to play that as a kid! I never saw it anywhere that I can remember. Definitely did not play it as a kid. Yes they apparently were all conversions. Nevertheless a great game that will never leave my collection!
What a beautiful game, and cabinet! I love Guzzler! My hiscore is somewhere around 120k. Sometimes on level 3 what i do is to get all the letters and leave just one fireball, I let myself die and then immediately kill the last fireball, just to watch the full show (It's not a very good idea, but I can't help it jaja) Greetings from Argentina!
I'd love to go to Argentina one day. Lots of beautiful women over there! How do you play Guzzler? Arcade cabinet or Mame? I'm curious to know how many of them are out there.
I was definitely considering using that style cabinet. I've got a bunch and it would look nice in a row. Ultimately I think you're right though, looks better in a pac style cabinet.
Thanks for still tuning in! I know we've been slacking but sometimes life happens. I'm going to start doing more frequent videos for the foreseeable future. Should have another one up in about 2 weeks. I'm glad you're enjoying the content
Wow! Amazing work! I just played Guzzler yesterday at The Galloping Ghost arcade outside of Chicago. Loved it! Maybe you said it in the video and I missed it -- how much did it cost you to recreate it?
Interesting game. Never heard of it. Looks fun.
Absolutely stellar restore and gameplay!
Thank you, we really love this one!

I had one years ago that I got as part of a bulk buy. It was in a wood grain Phoenix cabinet. The kit looks much better in a pac cabinet.

I played this at a local hoagie shop back in ‘84. I’m going to guess that it was a kit. I was a sucker for the chance at an extra life at the end.
You are very lucky to have seen one in the day! I've been collecting parts for over a year. Finally realized the dream!
Nice man. I was just re-watching a bunch of your vids, wondering when you'd post something new!

Seen this game on Starcade
That was where I first saw it myself!

I think after I sold all of the extra Ms. Pac-Man stuff it probably cost me about $700
I have not been to galloping ghost arcade yet I hope to go play there someday
