I love that although it is JK’s song, he had Usher in front when they first started dancing. It seemed like a show of respect and honor to me. I also love that they didn’t dance exactly alike. They complimented each other.

This is the reason why I love bts because they allow their fts to actually shine instead of trying to outshine them. Why I hate a lot of collabs in KPop cause it just seems like a popularity boost instead of a genuine collab . They component each other instead of fighting each other. I just joined your channel and I love your reaction!!!!! Usher I grew up with, saw him several plus times in concert the man is iconic. I’m so glad Jung Kook did “ Standing Next to You, remix with Usher “. Usher is a Mentor to JK as well as the late Michael Jackson, this choreography has a bit of MJ in it . JK’s Vocal range from normal pop to his and Usher’s falsetto is fire. The choreography is amazing as JK and Usher do their own dancing moves in this video. As a competitive dancer and choreographer I can say this is fantastic. I’m a Critical Care Nurse and we have always intensive care to our patients which can wear on the soul . During break I play music for my colleagues to regroup and it is amazing what music ( GOOD MUSIC) can do. I played this video when it came out in November for my colleagues and they LOVED IT, even the Nurses who are ready to retire. I’m glad you’re real to yourself and others. 71 year old BTS Army here. This is JK's song. The original MV was released weeks before this Usher Remix and was announced as a subtle homage to MJ. Usher is including it on his album being released in February. JK and the rest of BTS are all currently serving in S. Korea's mandatory military service for 18 months and will reunite as BTS in mid 2025.

Seven" is the fastest song ever to achieve 100 million streams on Spotify and was way beyond 1.2 billion after 5 months. All of these songs are included on his solo album "Golden" which is now well over 2 billion streams on Spotify and was just released last Nov 2.
None of his solo releases have anything to do with Kpop. They are all American productions with Grammy winning American songwriters, producers, recording studios, MV filming locations, MV directors (except one famous Ukranian MV director), dancers, choreographers, etc. JK has stated his aspiration to be a huge pop star and he is actually doing it.

This is Jungkook’s solo work. BTS as a group went on a hiatus in 2022 because all 7 members will be doing their mandatory military service. Some have already begun. While on hiatus as a group, the members have worked on solo albums.
