Correction, not only Korean women are crazy about Jungkook... Try checking his live mini concert at TSX, NYC last December before he enlisted in the military. The announcement was released 30 mins before the actual show and the place became packed with fans in just a short period of time.

Usher is very respected by Jungkook and all of BTS. This was a big honour for Jungkook. They are humble (BTS) and respect those who have gone before. We recognize both of their talents.

Glad you noticed the respect paid. All members of BTS are very respectful of other artists and when it’s a personal hero the way Usher is to JK it’s even more. There’s a similar relationship between Jin and Chris Martin of Coldplay. The last thing that Jin did before the military (he was first in) was fly to Argentina at Chris’ invitation to perform his solo hit The Astronaut at the Coldplay song. Chris co-wrote the song & sings back up. I think you would enjoy the video of the live performance. The thing about BTS is they’re old school like artists from 60’s-80’s in that they are the real deal and sound just as good or better live. No tricks, just talent and hard work.

Jungkook sang the 2022 FIFA World Cup official soundtrack song "Dreamer". He also performed it live at the opening ceremony. Please check it out.
The set and concept of the music video "Standing next to you" was inspired by the movie Romeo and Juliet by Baz Luhrmann. The dance in "Standing next to you" is homage to MJ.
He released his solo debut album "Golden". The album is all in English. JK said he wanted to try different genre of music and wanted to challenge himself. Since he is Korean and mainly sings in Korean it was a challenge for him.
He also did a short mini concert on time square and only gave fans 30 minutes notice where he sang five of his songs from his album. You'll love it for sure. It's amazing! Thousands showed up at times square.
I highly recommend you to react to "Seven", "3D", "Closer to you" from his album Golden.

These are two amazing vocalists and magnificent dancers, whom the whole world knows and loves - they are both listened to by all generations, different generations..
I listened to Usher when I was 25, and now, when I’m 49, I’m a big fan of Jungkook and the group BTS, but I still continue to listen to Usher.. My daughter grew up listening to Usher’s songs, at the age of 14 she started listening to K-pop and with 2015 she is an Army.. Now she is 27 years old - she and Jungkook's performance at the opening of the World Cup in 2022 brought me into K-pop.
We both listen and love these two very talented artists equally. And it's incredible!💜

Just as an FYI, K-pop isn't a genre, it's an industry. For instance BTS sings Rap, Pop, Ballads, R&B, EDM, Latin Pop, Hip Hop, those are genres. Not every K-pop groups sings the same type of music. If you want to check out Jungkook's live performance at Times Square, the energy is on another level. AND Jungkook has a huge Global Audience. BTS ARMY are over 350 million strong worldwide. You will see when you watch the live performance, more than just Korean women love him. And YES, this song is on the Billboard charts still. He's breaking all sorts of records, while in the military. All seven of the members are enlisted right now, but they will be back in June 2025. JIN will be back next month (June 12, 2024) and J-Hope will be back 4 months after Jin (October 17, 2024). And the rest (including Jungkook) in June of 2025. Also, look out for content being released by all the members. They prepared songs, albums, documentaries, and other content for ARMY's before they enlisted. Solo and Group content. Their 11th anniversary FESTA celebration will be in June, and JIN will be here for it. I'm sure they prepared something as a group beforehand.

Not just the Korean ladies! BTS, the group Jungkook is part of, has 60M fans worldwide! They have 7 members, but they have to do military service. While they rotate in and out, all of them are putting out solo albums. But they already had as a group over 300 songs. Any kind you like - hip hop, rap, ballad, vocal, jazz, pop, etc. Each guy brings different talent and as a group they are phenomenal. JK really wanted to do pop, and adores Michael Jackson, so off he went, making hits.

Listen, JK is from the number 1 group in the world. Also, you notice Usha verse is different from the version that JK originally sang. BTS, he know how to respect the OGs. BTS Jimin and JK LOVE USHER. It’s been less than a year since his album Golden was released. Uhm, no Standing Next To You did not top the BB#100. Seven did with Latto.
The problem is the US labeling everything a Korean sings as K-pop. Golden is not a K-pop Album. Did you hear one word of Korean? All the writers and producers are the top creators in the US. Scooter Braun is behind this project. He is the CEO of the AMERICAN division of JK’s label HYBE. USHA’s manager is Scooter Braun and that is how they were able to collab.
BB has issues with BTS. They hate that those Korean guys have beat records set by the Beatles, Michael Jackson, I think the Supremes. Plus, they topped the 100 without receiving radio air play or payola. The fandom learned the rules and we said okay, they aren’t getting much radio play, we will make up for that with streaming etc. BB VP would be mad and say the name aloud that he believed should have topped the 100 instead of BTS. He would accuse BTS of chart manipulation, but not Taylor Swift who used the practice of bundling. BB planned to release a special edition of their magazine with BTS on the cover. Guaranteed profits.
The writer disrespected BTS and Army to our leader RM. He told the writer if they don’t like how Army uses their rules they created change the rules. They made them. We canceled all of the preorders and that tanked the special edition magazine release and their profit margin. We don’t play when it comes to our guys. They don’t play when it comes to us the Army.
