i think my favorite part about this video is how usher and jk are both extraordinary dancers and while doing the same choreography, neither of them compromised their artistic style, but instead made it work together and i think that is just the most beautiful thing two sexy ass men can do

This remix was made in music heaven. In my mind I saw JK Usher and Michael. One of the things I liked about the remix is that it wasn't a regurgitation of the original. I loved how JK looked toward Usher as if to say, your turn, do your thing. I'm also glad that Usher was not treated like a backup dancer merely staying in sync with JK but bringing his own style to the choreography. And yes, the playfulness was so good to watch. I'm so impressed.

Love the introduction of Usher. When he says "Stop!" They stop in the background.
Ian Eastwood posted that his frozen stance was looking directly into Jungkook's eyes as they geeked out over Usher performing a few yards away.
For those interested in art direction, the use of complementary colors of blue (clear skies) and orange (light - natural and artificial) throughout contribute to the aesthetic appeal of the set. The result is harmony, just like JK and Usher's collab.
I agree the performance video makes you love the song even more, to legends dancing & singing together, yet putting their own style on there moves, I love that it’s in sync yet not 100% in sync, just like with the backup dancers each puts their own tiny flair to their moves, just very subtle and I have to point out Usher’s foot work across the floor criss crossing his feet so freakin’ fast until he meets Jung kook in the middle of the circle, damn impressive. Of course the iconic signature Usher necklace move, also impressive, if I tried that it would get all tangled and then smack me in the face🤣
Their interaction is so wholesome. The best yet. Jk did it again.
Fun fact Kookie said he was inspired when he saw Usher to cut his hair early when getting ready to go to the military. Kookie is working with all his fav artists and I'm so happy for them.

I agree. The video makes a big difference in the impact of the remix. The necklace part of the song where Usher spins it around and catches it, it’s one of his trademark moves.
The Choreo part where usher spins around JK is what he did to MJ. It’s kind of like MJ handed off the crown to Usher and now Usher is handing off the crown to JK.

Hey Roscoe! 😂 I find it really funny how everyone keeps asking " How old is Usher"?. It's not like Usher was sitting at home in his rocking chair and JK called and asked if he wanted to get out and do something special. Usher just finished his residency in Las Vegas about a month ago. Unfortunately I didn't get to see it but I heard he was dancing in roller skates while performing. I don't think many people at any age could do tha 😂😂😂. Any I love everything about SNTY the Originall Song the Remix and the Choreography. Best Calibrations Ever!! I didn't listen when it initially came out, I waited to see if we would get some kind of lyric video and then this dropped and I'm glad I waited for this. Also, so happy that after the Usher call out in Butter, they've had a dialogue and at least one member has been able to collab with him and I think JK is the perfect choice for it

I had the same reaction with the remix. i only thought it was okay, but the video made me love this version. In this video I realized that the reason BTS resonates so much with me is that the visual they give us with their videos enhances even an okay song to become a great song. When I hear this version now all I can see is this great video.
Even more impressive is that Usher is almost twice JK’s age.
At first I did not care for the remix. I felt that Usher went a little too high as I particularly like his lower notes. However the more I listen the more it grows on me.
Jungkook is his own person and does his own thing and yes he did a little Micheal in there and Usher is great as always

I just prefer Jungkooks voice more as he has more depth and I find Ushers just ....well high. They can do solo projects and still be in the group. They have a contract with the same agency since they debut until 2030! They are currently serving their mandatory military enlistment that their country requires of them. Instead of asking for an exemption, they all decided they were going to serve for the next 18month, despite them bringing 4.2B to their economy close to Samsung and Hyundai companies. Name one artist in the US bringing money to the United States of America? Don’t worry, I’ll wait!
Each one of them has done a solo album or just one song. They waited for Jk to finish his so the last 4 members can go in. They plan to come back in 2025. They don’t have bulbous egos like western artists do. That’s what set them apart. That’s why they’re still together after 10 yrs releasing 1 to 2 albums a year, in Japaneses and releasing music for their fandom, the ARMY. They also like creating music and upload it for free. They would like to have a Grammy but they don’t follow rules for Grammy selection. After each award they win, they go back to their hotel and do a live with their fandom, thanking them for their love and support. All JK did was to show how he and his brothers dominate the west, by selling out concerts, and selling out albums and winning hearts. And music industry in US are mad.
I tribute Usher hopping because of a bad back. He has aged and no contest to JK's dancing with its physical stamina. If you notice, he hops and fancy footwork slides while Jk jumps. Great remix but this is not a collaborative, just like Megan the Stallion did with Butter remix and the triple Js danced to it. This remix just had Usher get a jumpstart for his upcoming album in February. There's also a rumor that this song will be in his album. I won't buy Usher album if it's so. This is not a collaboration, this is Jk's song.
Where did you get the information from bc it makes no sense. At one point in the dance Usher did an extra move in the hop that JK's choreography originally did not have when they danced with the group. H He just not do the hop the 2nd time it was not a hard move.
@@bebeade71 that comes from being a fan of Usher back in the 80's and how his dances evolved over the years. He hasn't been in the spotlight for quite a few years, maybe even a decade. His life and the drama went on for years, and he disappeared for a while. If that choreo is intentional to be different from Jk because he is much older, like a generation then I'll buy into the hype. He used to move like Jk.
