- Welcome to Vancouver, where I was born and raised. It's a beautiful city and whether you are local or visiting, I hope you enjoy the sites and the eats this city has to offer.
Unfortunately, it's that time of year where it's getting cold and gloomy but not to fret; a few good friend and a nice meal will pick up one's spirit! Thank you for join us as well. We are heading off to one of Vancouver nicer restaurants called GLOWBAL for a special brunch buffet event! They normally offer a la carte dinning but with the timing of their Annual Christmas brunch buffet happening around this time, I just couldn't resist. I hope you get a chance to try this too!

I love how you address all the employees by name. I work at a buffet and I love to talk to the guests. It can be a lot of fun if you have the personality 😀

Really enjoy your videos, Tim. You're very good at making the employees shine (they deserve the spotlight as much as the food!). I also respect that you don't accept kickbacks, and that makes your videos feel genuine.

Happy Holidays, Tim! But, I think, Vancouver and British Columbia are so beautiful during all the seasons. I was in Vancouver in winter, though, it was the sunny day... Vancouver and British Columbia are one of the most beautiful places on Earth. And I encountered and met such nice people in Chilliwack, Abbotsford, in Edmonton as well. Everywhere in Canada, where I was.

Happy New Year, Tim! I can’t believe I missed this video. The crostini appetizers looked amazing,but I bypass the carbs. I’m glad you savored them. The shrimp,oysters and carved meats would be my main choice . And that paella looked to die for.It was so generous of the restaurant to serve you that awesome cocktail. @@TimLeeLetsGo It's around minus 30 here. In toronto it's only minus 0 yesturday. Yeah it's warmer in Vancouver, but I was in the beutiful city of Vancouver in April a few years back and the last thing I was thinking about was going to the beach while in Vancouver lol. Weather was nice for going biking ect. I even made a joke to my friends if they wanted to go to the beach for a swim while in Vancouver. Were geting a high of plus 2 on Saturday which happens to be the day I'm going to see new Star Wars Movie I got tickets for it a week and a half ago.

Yummy. That omelette is perfectly cooked. Cooks tend to brown them and that changes everything. Everything looks delicious

Hope you had a wonderful food-filled holiday... and I’ll take two of those Bloody Caesars! And I’m sure you found out that the parchment-covered fruit was a Peruvian pichuberry. Luckily, I can get them seasonally at my weekly farmers market in Phoenix.

Happy Holidays Tim. Food looked good as always. Never seen a Caesar salad without romaine but I guess with the recall on the lettuce right now they had to have something to replace it with. I think that pastry might have been a bear claw.

Buffet seems a little overpriced for what they offer. But I guess that’s expected when it comes to food from downtown. Just wondering if there are any of these types of buffets out in Burnaby or Richmond that you could give a review of? Great video 👍
Yeah, there's not too many buffets in Vancouver and they are a little pricey. Only one I can think off is at the Hilton in Burnaby by Crystal mall.. Let me know if you come across any as well. All the best to you!

Hey Brad, glad to hear you're able to make it to Vancouver, and also catch a Canucks game! my friend Albert and I go from time to time, but we generally don't get the food at the stadium as it's pretty much standard stadium food. We generally go to Costco next door to eat up before the game :-). There are some pretty nice places nearby, such as The Chamber (a Belgium place) and the Devil's Elbow (and ale and barbecue place) pretty close by for before or after the game. Anyhow wish you a safe trip and wishing for us to have a win! Have fun and all the best.

I heard about it many years ago on an overnight talk show. Found it once at a 7-11 in Woburn, Massachusetts. I might have seen it once or twice more so I don’t know if it was a limited time on,y deal or not.

Hi Cathy, yeah, I'm not too sure what the difference between a Caesar and a Bloody Mary either. Tasted good though :-)
If I understood Wiki correctly, the Cesae as you had it was invented in Calgary and the difference between it and a Bloody Mary is clam broth!

Buffet looked mediocre, but that Caesar was on point.

@@Danny-fn8tx actually I was a bit surprised. I think is was over $10 (like $12-$15), but I didn't realize that all the toppings were extra.. a few dollars for the shrimp, another few dollars to for the oyster, etc and it quickly added up.. I think I ended up paying in the high $20s for the drink...(I did realize that all the toppings were available on the buffet as well)
Tim Lee I figured it would be a bit pricey. It’s an entire meal in a glass.
Everything didn't look good except the sear tuna and overall I don't think this buffet is worth a try!
No prime-rib......! Turkey is cheap.
