Voted Best Buffet in Vegas | Bountiful Dinner Buffet @ Wynn Las Vegas

- After spending a great time in Vegas with the friends, it's time to get back home. Well, at least that was the plan. Flying on a discount airline usually means taking on the slim chance where schedules can change; and that's exactly what happened. While my friends are heading to the airport on their way home, I received a message indicating my flight was cancelled. Hmm, that would mean another night in Vegas...Great!
While a bit award being by myself, the suggestions from Clarise at the concierge made for an exciting evening.
First, the food... A dinner at the Wynn Buffet.
Next, the transportation... By helicopter?!? Why not
Having dined that the Wynn Restaurants previously for brunches at their buffet and at the Lakeside restaurant, I knew that dinner would be a Wynner... Their dinner offered an even more bountiful spread with lavish dishes too many to sample. All were amazing.
However, getting there was half the fun. The suggestion of the helicopter was something I would have never thought of...but when in Vegas, why not! Our pilot Zach from Maverick Helicopters was not only a great pilot, but a great guide to the night sky of Vegas. Truth be told Clarise suggested a helicopter tour...which was what I took and I would highly recommend it. We started at the airport and ended at the airport; this was not an Uber type ride that was depicted; just meant for fun and a big thank you to Clarise and Zach for being great sports and playing along.
All in all, an amazing extra night in Vegas and very grateful to be able to have you all join along.

Wow, all the other Las Vegas UA-camrs are gonna be jealous of your helicopter ride. Very skillful how you incorporate workers and others into your videos. You've always been good at that. It's part of what makes you unique.

Love the way he calls everyone by their name. He’s kind & polite to the staff no matter where he is. That goes a long way.
@@mangopilar it was from Maverick tours. It cost me a discounted price of about $80... I think they were trying to fill up seats on a weekday evening.

I'm sorry you missed your flight but if you hadn't we would not have seen the beautiful skyline of Las Vegas today of which I am grateful for. I was looking for a video of the skyline I never flew in a helicopter. I used to live in Vegas 30 years ago and thinking of moving towards that area in the future. Sometimes things happen for a good reason. Hope you made it back safely to Canada or Washington, wherever you live. Stay cool!

Wow!!! What a buffet!!! It all looked off the chart delicious. The offerings at the carvery station had to be great along with everything else. I'm pathetic. Been gluttoning on Vegas buffets shows.since all casinos in US shut down. I like watching you all eating at delicious buffets with so many options. Best thing is you can walk around&get your own foods. I'm sitting here crying&drooling. I'm so sad. I want the COVID19 to be resolved soon do I go back to this loveliness!!!!more crying&tear.

I laughed so much when you implied that you were taking a helicopter ride to the Wynn. Hopefully, none of your followers think that was for real! I hope you enjoyed the night views from the ride. I would like to know as to when the Wynn changed their buffet? As I recall they didn't have the best reviews some time ago.
Hi Marge, yeah, it was a bit of creative editing and glad the pilot was a good sport and even circled the Wynn. This was actually a helicopter tour which I was sure to mention in the description. I must say that the Wynn buffet is large with a plentiful selection. In my experience, it doesn't quite beat out places like the Bacchanal ... still very good though..
Haha I feel dumb now. I just told my BF, guess what we can take a helicopter right to the WYNN Hotel! Lol

Stayed at the Wynn some years ago, the most incredible breakfasts, lunches, dinners. Sleeping on their beds/pillows is like floating on clouds/air. Unfortunately Las Vegas was TOO hot for me, dripping sweat even in the shade.
Nice to know. I never got a chance to stay at the Wynn as it's a bit out of the price range, but it sounds great.. I suspect their rates may be lower now...

Just some creative editing... it was actually a helicopter tour that was discounted as a last minute passenger on a weekday. Give it a try on your next visit...pretty speculator and quite worth it (I think it was like $80 and they provide champagne and snacks at the airport)

Hi Sunny! That would be a great celebration! I would say the Wynn would be better choice between the two. However, you might also want to try the Bacchanal at Caesars Palace. It's like the Wynn but with more seafood offerings and an even better dessert station (probably the best dessert station in Vegas)

In May, my family and I stayed at the Flamingo Hotel and their buffet really was disappointing, but I’ll definitely try the Wynn’s buffet! I moved to Las Vegas in 2006. My favorite is Wynn's buffet. Bacchanal's is not worth the $65.00 price to me.

How much was it for the heli flight
Hi Reel Fishing, thanks so much. The helicopter flight was actually a tour that I took from Maverick. It was quite enjoyable and I got a discounted rate of about $80 as they were trying to fill up empty seats on a weekday evening (I booked it through the concierge at the hotel). Give it a try if you get the chance... The airtime is actually quite short, but this includes pickup at your hotel and some nominal snacks and drinks. Despite the short flight time, it was very memorable.
It's so weird to watch this video during this pandemic. Buffets will never be the same. I would imagine everyone would get gloves and a mask going through the buffet if they ever open. No licking fingers any more. All those workers out of a job right now. We had it so good just a few weeks ago. So much abundance that we took for granted.
Hi Calmcat, It is very weird indeed as so much has changed in so little time! It's definitely tough for Vegas especially. I was actually quite impresses with how the Wynn is handling things as they are covering the wages of their employees during this shutdown ... at least for 30 days. Quite a class act though it's a much larger problem. These videos were meant as an escape / entertainment showing excess and abundance; a very stark contrast now.... Thanks for reaching out. I suspect things will start up again in the medium future and things will be different...not good nor bad, just different :-). All the best to you!

Hi kerreyn, I would highly suggest the Bacchanal. It's like the Wynn, but with more seafood offerings and probably the best dessert station in Vegas. Hope you give it a try... or try both and let me know what you think? ;-) If money is no object, try to see if you can get a reservation for the Sterling Brunch at Bally's

Tim Lee we had a nice day. My cousin has a T-day breakfast and we all bring different breakfasts foods. Then about 11 everybody splits to go either finish cooking the main meal or going to in-laws. We’ve done it now for about 20 years. This way we get to be together but only have to eat one turkey meal. Instead of everybody trying to do two different families and meals.

Tim, I'm talking to your video while watching it. I kept saying how are you going to eat all that?. We don't really see you eat but do you eat it all or do you take just a taste of each thing?. It always amazes me when people who are thin can pack on the food. Sharon from Orange county ca
Hi Sharon, I certainly don't waste much food except one of the steaks that was cut from the carving station. I asked for a fatty piece but it was all fat...that was too much for me. But yeah, I definitely finish the food as I take only small portions; but a variety of small portions :-)

You gotta try M hotel - studio B buffet , I have eaten at Caesar, ballegio, Wynn, cosmo, M hotel ( studio B ) is the best buffer in Vegas, you have to try to figure it out ;) And make sure to get the sea food buffet during weekends .
