When they allowed people to start touching the horse that was the problem. They should stop the public from touching the horses and that would be better for the guards and the horse.
Even when back in the day, I always thought it was against the rules for people to touch these beautiful working animals. I was surprised to find these videos with people basically mauling them. They really should put some type of barrier to keep people away. Take a picture and move on.
@@Yaya2214CJ Yes Yaya It should be against all the rules. I suggested a barrier too but people shot that idea down. So there’s always a reason not to have one on a city street there. The barrier could be a fabric one like they have here in the US like in a movie theater here. It collapses and easily unlocks to let people through. But oh well.
@@AlisonGasparini It’s a piece of fabric on two light weight poles that fall down if it’s touched. It’s just a piece of fabric for aesthetic purposes to show people to stay back.
For all the immature adults and others that are surprised when the Guard, yells think for just a second. The Guards are protecting the property and people. If you grab the reins you could be 1 second away from controlling the horse intentionally or not. If you enter the Arches you could be attempting to enter the building. Should the Guard wait until you pull the door. Of course not. They are not there to entertain you. They are to protect and serve. Grow up..
Terry.. you’re worse when you go to magaluf.. you get drunk & misbehave..then get arrested for drunk & disorderly & shoved in their dirty old rotten jail.. dear O dear
There MUST be a barrier between the public and the guards to maintain respect and safety. When these people put their hands on the horse’s muzzle, they could be carrying anything.
one woman was stroking the horse’s face & poked him in his eye with her long false nails.. everyone are stroking the horse with sweaty dirty hands.. the horse could attract some disease or skin infection
All I know if I ever get a chance to visit, they will know I researched the country's rules for tourists. And just from watching these videos that i learned what you can and can't do around the Kings Guards and Horses. Im allergic to horses but will risk a allergic reaction to get one picture but while standing by the wall lol I do not understand why people think its ok to maul the horses, put their hands on the Kings Guards, grab the reins, stand in the Kings Guards way, crowd up on the horses, walk into the Guard house, not listen when told to stand behind the lines watching the changing of the Guards or get mad why they or their children are bitten.
I think the whole idea of horse and guard being in that position for silly tourists to annoy them is just cruel to the horse and the guard, there is no need for this circus and that's all it is.
There needs to be some sort of instruction for tourists before they are permitted to get close to the Guards. Most of them seem to think these soldiers are some sort of Waxwork, put there for them to clown next to. They will eventually have to fence them off which will be a shame.
I have just realised that when a girl is having her picture taken and puts her fingers v style it’s to cover a big spot that appeared during the night.
It’s common sense have your photos just don’t touch the soldier and his horse, sometimes I wonder if some people do it deliberately for a reaction. My grandfather was a guard in ww2, I’m looking at a photo of him on my wall as I’m typing this
Ohhh my god a horse.. i see a horse.. don’t blame me if i behave in a nutty manner.. i & the rest of them all here have never seen a horse in our lives.. i can tell by everyone else’s craziness here after them seeing a horse

More pillocks per square foot than you could shake a stick at.

I feel so sorry for these young soldiers and horse for having to put up with these idiots day in day out.
Shouldn't be allowed near the horse or the guard
Tourists who come 2 London nowadays R
so bloody rude!!! Why can’t they leave the King’s Guards alone???
Some of these people don’t need to pull faces to look stupid.

A barrier would be far too dangerous-all it would take is the horse being spooked for they and their rider to be seriously injured.

You're not allergic to horses mate. Whoever told you that is a quack.
Maybe they watched too much Mr bean.
The sad thing is that some of the tourists are actually from the UK...
Please stop these tourists from touching the horses and keep the tourists from ridiculing our soldiers
Many of these people are not tourists but from within the country.
@@joelc9439within the country with no manners?.. not a lot to be said about these nutty tourists then!😮
What was a unique photo opportunity for our visitors, has been spoiled by the selfishness of a few entitled people.
These tourists act like the guards are props 🙄 So disrespectful.
A Chaos of Tourists. A buch of M.r.ns.🇬🇧
Some of these tourists are dense😡

I don't understand, either. It might be TikTok Brain. 🧠 🤪🙄
The horse was smiling..
Why lean on the horse

@@joelc9439 yes, I meant grabbing the reins and stuff
I dont see why the guards cant say 'dont touch the horse ' im surprised the horses are not nervous wrecks
why touch his boots?😂 silly, silly, silly 🤦♀️
Were they ever tempted at Christmas to say "get off the rein, dear?"
😅
Even if there was a flashing sign that says stand back, dont touch the horse and reins it wouldn't work
I love their arrogance when the Guard yells at them. They're like "Who the hell are you to tell me what to do?"
CAPTAIN OF THE GUARD DONT LET TOURISTS GET NEAR THE HORSES
Why do these people have to take pics of the guards? They are doing their jobs not posing for you. Just leave them alone.
This is not a theme park, they are soldiers doing an important job so back off
More chsins/ropes blocking access and definitely no touching, should be common sense but unfortunately that seems to be lacking
We're those gang signs? Why do that? Your point?
Too many people think they are special and the rules apply to others but NOT THEM.
At 2.14, he says " Are you ready" and the horse nods his head , like as if to say " no ".
There should be a sign, stating Do not enter the Arches
are they flashing gang signs?
I was so discussed😠 with that to. No RESPECT to the Guards.
The horse was smiling and making a funny face.
The Guards boots are meticulously polished then some grubby tourist thinks it's funny to leave finger marks !
QUIÉN DIJO QUE LA ESPECIE HUMANA ES SUPERIOR ???
I don't get why they need to treat the royal guard like he's just a mannequin.they just touch the royal guard without any due respect.
