- We currently have the contents of FIVE 40 foot sea containers full of British made motorcycles & spares from the 50s through to the early 70’s which include such famous names as Triumph, BSA, Norton, Royal Enfield, AJS and Matchless including some of the more rare and obscure brands like Coventry Eagle and Velocette.
This massive collection is going to take considerable time to sort and catalogue the individual motorcycles and parts, and as they begin to become available the bikes will be listed on our used bikes section shown below:

A sea of frames. That's a phrase you don't hear every day. I'll be praying for your success and for your sanity with this massive project. No doubt Hitchcocks will get it done. Thanks for sharing.
I'd be like a child in a sweet shop if i were in there!
Great to see so many different bikes from various era's.
Keep up the good work. 👍
When I was in Year 7 at Primary School, I had a 3 Wheeler, 1984 Honda ATC 70cc, I Rode it to School One Day and Parked it at the School Bike Racks 🤣 🤣 (true story) 👍
G'day from Australia, bloody hell what a find, a nightmare but what fun, some real gems in that bunch, love to see them when on sale, cheers, Neil 🤠.
What you have there reminds me of a motorcycle breaker’s yard I used to haunt 50 years ago. It was just a sea of English motorcycles of all descriptions. To think that a lot of this stuff is still out there just waiting to be found. What a find!
What a dream come true! I would set up a used motorcycle dealership and display everything. Like a never ending swap meet.
It's hard to believe that every single one of those old bikes has its own story of when it was purchased new and was someone's pride and joy. First rides, lots of thrills, given and received as a gift, you name it. I'll admit, I simply cannot appreciate anything in that pile (I'm no bike expert) but I'm sure there's some parts in there that will really be special to someone.
And now? A money pit for a delusional middle aged man near you
It’s a bit like watching a film of the beginning of last century and realizing that none of those people are around anymore.

British iron👍👍👍 what a beautiful array of bikes and parts. I love Triumphs. I only hope the prices are reasonable. We who restore our bikes are not usually very wealthy. Old motorcycles can be fairly easy and economical to restore, and frankly, should be. Rock on, you are sitting on a gold mine!👍❤️
Wow! Now that's my dream garage could spend many a happy hour bringing those back to life.
The Great Escape Rides again, just outstanding.
Good to see it back in this country where it belongs
Old is gold 😊😊
This is amazing! What a beautiful sight. You guys are great! 😊🇬🇧
Amazing. There will be a lot of British bike owners & restorers just itching to get a look or track down some elusive part.
Totally awesome collection would love to spend some time in there finding that once in a lifetime part

Well done Hitchcocks!
First of all, congratulations on your new possession 🙌! How in God's name do you value such a thing!! You have to be a great entrepreneur for that. Beautiful 👍. I hope you will come across a lot of jewels! Greetings and respect from Kobus 🇳🇱
Truly awe inspiring
Woah! What an amazing find!!!
Folklore find, majority of items that I recognize in video came from a barn in rural Michigan USA, from gentleman named AKA: BSA Bob. Thanks to Hitchcock's for keeping his legacy alive.
Tons of great affordable projects!
Wow I've never seen so many bikes in one area. And all them parts must be worth a fortune.
This is a real lot of work right there. Oh my god.
Absolutely incredible!
I'd love to have a Moto Guzzi Falcone Nuovo, but at the moment neither my health nor my pocket could consider such a thing.
Thank you for that glimpse.
Fantastic.
Wow what a collection!
1:30 oh no Derek, that's in fact a very rare Tracy bodywork kit, probably one of only a few ever made and likely the only one this side of the Atlantic at this point.
I look forward to browsing the catalog once ready, and see how much trouble I can get myself into!
Thanks for the info, very useful

Derek is a rock star.
Yes, PROJECTS !
Just saw your vid... the "Blue BSA twin" is not Rickman, but "TRACY" made here in Calif... was a customer one piece fiberglass body... mostly customer bikes, but a few AMA Dirt Tracker Triumph's used them in hopes of weight saving. WestCoastBritishRacing
Good work - well done!
A mountain of gold,, and countless hours of work ahead ,,,ultimate find,,
Visist Sammy Millers in the UK.The most wonderful selection of bikes I have ever seen.
Great news !!
Look to be some gems there, the Enfields look the pick. There'll be an awful lot of rubbish/scrap no doubt too.
“This must be heaven,man!”
MENTAL !!!!!COLLECTION g
A lot of bikes, some interesting ones and a lot of headaches amongst them. Be interesting to see if there are enough customers wanting to buy and restore so many bikes as most younger people now spend their time phone facing, taking selfies or playing on other electronic devices. Good luck with the sales and it's good to see you rescued so many old bikes and parts.
Well Done!
Amazing find, Hope they can be saved and put to good use. Greetings from Dublin
WOW Derek. Did I see my name on that BSA A65 😂looks like your going to be busy for a while.
Super-Collection of the past!
Wow! Pandora's box of bikes!....... Score!. 🙂
WOW! Old school bikes with old school mods.
Unfortunately not old school prices ££££££££££
Fantastic, best wishes,,.
Amazing.
Well done boys :-)
God, it's just overwhelming! Where do you start?!
Wow! Good luck sorting that lot out, incredible find....
Great!!!
Amazing
That is heaven on earth
BIKE HEAVEN.
You could get a nice project going, get lucky with parts etc and know what your doing a real classic could be reborn. 🇬🇧
Incredible
Wow! I am in heaven.
Could you let me know when you have a price list for you're bikes please, and im really intrested in further details of the Enfield Interceptors inc parts..
My Lord!! That is a truly epic undertaking… Lots of really rare motorcycles in some of those shots. I have restored a few bikes over the years, the oldest was a 47 Flathead Harley..
That is beautiful
Awesome
I'm surprised by the lack of triumph twins in that lot
Plenty of a65s and unit singles
Maybe the triumphs are more sought after?
I don't think I've seen that many BSA Lightnings in all my days!
A few Diamonds 💎 in the rough 👍
Only one word needed WOW
Have never been into motorbikes but as a kid in my town Hartlepool a lad had a Norton Commando and he let myself and friends rev it. Still remember it to this day. Hope your business does well. 👍
We need the parts cataloged so we can build the bikes up 😊
wonder how many hells angels roared down highways on those machines of a time gone by
" . . . and I want them all running by Friday!" - Ye Gods, what a haul. The stork of good fortune could visit many 'sheds' this winter - Yuletide hint to the memsahib perhaps "A quiet xmas: just us, the kitchen & the shed - saves on heating costs!" : )
Wow that will keep you busy
A paradise, it must be like walking into a dream.
I can smell them from here!
As much as I hate to see those bikes leave the USA I'm sure glad they were rescued by Hitchcocks because now they have a chance to get back into circulation.
Bravo, bravo, bravo
Wow..I can't sleep tonight...BTW, looking for a Fury, any condition, waiting for listening
Hitchcocks is only up the road from me 😀
Lordy, this is an extraordinary collection. There is a longer story to where these came from but what is it?
Hi Richard, the one collection was from a large dealer in Michigan who had retired many years ago, the parts and bikes had been sitting in shed gathering dust. It was a huge task in itself to just empty the unit and load the containers (including creating a small gravel track road for the trucks to access). However, we plan to make a follow up video going into more detail on the back story as its gathered a lot of interest.
@@HitchcocksMotorcycles Thank you so much. This is a great story. It never ceases to amaze me how much stuff still turns up in ones and twos but this is an astounding find!
Always more to the story of BSA Bob
