Bennelli is an Italian bike make. They have only a niche market in the US. In the 70s Montgomery Wards was selling Bennellis through their catalogs. Great visibility with that partnership.
I'm surprised I never came across these when I lived in that area. I'll have to catch up with Bill next time I'm up there. Thanks for the great content, Ryan
I used to go to the automotive dismantling yards all the time and they always had a section where all the junk motorcycles were but there was never any BSAs Triumphs or Nortons in there
Interesting video to say the least. But as a very small time collector/restorer/hot rodder of vintage two-stroke street bikes it sickens me a bit to see all of this waste. I am curious what the good stuff looked like. But the stuff in this video is nothing but the results of a hoarder and destroyer of what could have been a lot of cool projects for people like me. 95% or more of the stuff is now junk. Too bad.
A motorcycle shop mechanic wouldn't make the money to buy that much stuff, might have had money from other sources. Most of them likely were given to him because they were too expensive to repair and then letting them rot outdoors made them overall fairly worthless. Probably some parts usable for restos, but if he isn't there to show the buyer where to find the bike, how would you even ID the model without extensive knowledge and a very good eye?
Well I'm not a big motorcycle person. But I can appreciate what's there for the guys into Hondas. I've always liked the three wheelers. Well then you go show Dodge vans and Nash first gen Camaros. There's always something interesting on your channel. What about your green machine?
@@AutoArchaeology fantastic! I know that you mentioned and showed a couple of three parts about 3 episodes ago if I remember right and they were for this car
Old guy whom never went the way of ebay. I know a guy whom pick up 40 bike a month plus . Strips them down and ebay the lot. That yard is full of stuff that would put at least 500 plus old bike back on the road with parts you cant find anymore. As for the one you did not know about European and running might be worth a nice bit of cash. As The gas tank if rust and dent free would be worth 300 bucks
Just came across this video, any chance he’s still selling bikes and parts? Could not find contact info. Any information would be much appreciated. Ty and great channel
Where's location or who would I get into contact with I restore vintage motorcycles mainly hondas and I still cruise countryside looking for 60s 70s and 80s honda cbs
@@AutoArchaeologyIs that near Dog Town and Duck Town? I use to live in Red Bank / White Oak in Chattanooga. Got a tour of some underground mines which was fun. In a truck!
Wish you would have spent a little more time on the ATV's. Your taste in old autos is great but your taste in which old cars and bikes leaves a little more to be desired.
Nobody really wants them-- thats why there in the junk yard. Ya gotta grow up sometime! Motor cycles riding is dying out big time. Too dangerous these days with people watching t.v. and texting
what an awesome pile of restoration fun !!!
Wow! So many great saveable bikes and spares. One of your best finds.
Went there today. And all I have to say is wow. Lots of cool stuff and super nice guy
Indeed he is.

Yup, good hunting!
What a great place to get parts for motorcycle restoration or to get a new project motorcycle!

I don't understand how one person leaves so many motorcycles rotting in the sun and rain
thanks for the interesting video, us down here in tennessee will have to try and visit that there motorcycle wonderland
Oh my God, how does this happen , thousands if not millions of dollars of bikes just almost trashed , restoration dreams
Easy nobody wanted them when this guy was collecting them. Most would of been scrap iron years ago if not for guys like this
Reminds me of a place in Kentucky except instead of motorcycles it was lawn mowers, hundreds & hundreds of John Deere & Cub Cadet lawn mowers
Bunch of small to mid sized bikes that are either wrecked or have blown engines...very few un wrecked inline 900-1100s that are worth rebuilding.
Oh wow, very cool!!!! 👍👍
To all the negative comments, only a true motorcyclist would see the potential.
Skips in Cincinnati has a similar yard. School buses full of stuff, been there for at least 40 years.
Good Christ !!!!!
Look at all of those motorcycles 🏍💖 !!!!

The other option would of been scrapping them 30 years ago. This is still better!
Better this than the crusher where most of these went. And 95% is WAY to high of a number. Plenty of good pickin to be had.
Lifetime e bay parts business right there.
Increible!! 😳

Did you notice any CZ Jawas or Bultacos?!

Is there any CT 70’s for sale can we link up I’m in California and need one shipped out here please let me know
Someone had to transport those load and unload those and then push them into the spot just that work alone wow
Oh yeah!

I would tell Kaplan Motorsports the number one people in the world for vintage bikes and they're always looking for old bikes
Oh man I bet there are a few good vintage BMX bikes in there also!!!!
Get digging!
That is insane
I hope he sells all of them to people that will respect them
