*This show was banned in my house* 🤣 basically because every time my twin brother and I watched an episode _we straight up started to angrily fight, like… for no reason_
You nailed the twin argument about age thing right on! Me and my twin sister would argue over that particularly when a board game said "the youngest goes first", and I wanted to go first instead of her so I tried to make it seem like 2 minutes wasn't a big deal. Ah, back when those were our biggest worries, those were the days.

This entire thing is just Really Good Shapes and bangin color palettes and it's just pure fuckin eye candy. i love it and i gotta rewatch it sometime
I've never watched the show [I'd really like to] but every time I saw pictures of it, I thought to myself "the art style looks like a mix of Danny Phantom and Wow Wow Wubbzy and I'm all for that" and once I heard info in the creators, I exclaimed out lout "I KNEW IT!!!!" Awesome video all around, it's definitely unfortunate this didn't get a third season.
@@JustCallMeHeavy Sounds great! I love Robotboy but its continuity left a bit to be desired (like Robotgirl losing her memory on second appearance???? Whyyyy)
@@mariahs6 (Like really, Yin and Yang vaguely look like furry RB and RG lol). But I think RB actually did have ok continuity for the most part, I mean like, it wasn't explicit, but it did increase over on in the second half of the show. Baring things like claiming the Human Fist is fictional and the obvious Protoboy issue. There were good instances of it like when Kamikazi mentions the events of "Halloween" in "Something About Stevie".
This series first introduced me to the idea of calling a Two-Horned Unicorn a "Twonicorn"(Two + Unicorn = Twonicorn), and later on January 25, 2009 in the Simpsons episode "Lisa the Drama Queen", Lisa & her new friend Juliet write about a Fictional World that they create together, Lisa mentions that it would have a Unicorn with Two Horns, and Juliet coins the word "Twonicorn", and Lisa loves it so much that she goes with it, I also did some research and learned that in Middle Ages/Renaissance Satirical works they have a Flesh-Eating Monster called the "Bicorn/Bycorne/Bigorne", depicted as Part Cow/Part Panther with a Humanoid Face, and it has a counterpart called the "Chichevache" a Human-Faced, Flesh-Eating, Very Thin Cow, It was because of all of this that(to help avoid unnecessary confusion) I always call a Unicorn with Two Horns a "Twonicorn", and I also call a Unicorn with Three Horns a "Trinicorn"(Trinity + Unicorn = Trinicorn), And I owe this to both Yin-Yang-Yo & the Simpsons, pretty interesting right? maybe?
@@drakofox1362 I guess it would depend on how they are written/depicted as, the idea of a Bicorn being a Carnivorous Cow-Panther Monster would be a good idea for an Antagonist for Animal characters to watch out for, or a just another Wild Beast that brave heroes would slay in battle, and even though Twonicorns may have a silly sounding name, they could have it where their Second Horn serves a purpose, like their First Horn uses more basic magic like what Unicorns can do, but their Second Horn uses more advanced magic that Unicorns couldn't do, but it's harder to control or wears them out faster than using their First Horn does, which would be bad if they are in the middle or a battle or a war, or they could have it where their First Horn uses Light Magic with additional Purifying properties, while their Second Horn uses Dark Magic & has a Corruptive influence on them making them become more Evil the more they use it, so they could try to avoid using it as much as they could, they could even have it where a Trinicorn is the result of Three Unicorns combining their powers together to form a single being with Three Horns, like a Fusion form or something, with the combined magical might of all three Unicorns together, but the three individual minds would have to be in perfect sync in order to remain in that form for a prolonged period of time, it would just depend on the ideas of the writers telling the story.
I never watched this show but I had a baby cousin who watched a TON of wubbzy and I guessed immediately the two had similar teams, it felt so cool when you mentioned that later. It's neat how artists have distinct styles that way even across shows
It totally caught me off guard lol. Wubzy was a favorite show of mine growing up (though long before the ballerina character was added, back when it was just the original three). I watched this video and realized “Huh. Yin’s whiskers look kinda like Widget’s”. Then the video showed the creator of the show and it *all* clicked into place
Damn bro yet another show that locked in my memories. I swear yt suggesting you was the best thing to happen on yt in awhile. Thanks for the quality content as usual.
I remember that one episode where Yin got sick and her sneezing is getting out of control due to the magical dust. The auras in _Yin Yang Yo!_ are powerful that it can break the reality more than Dr. Strange's mystical powers.
That episode is one of my all time favorite episodes from the show, I believe it was season 1 episode 5! It's like the ONLY episode I remember from the entire show, it's burned into the back of my brain. I score it a solid 11/10 The nostalgia is so strong my heart is buzzing in my chest just remembering it.
Talk about a blast from the past! This was one of my favorite shows as a kid. I also remember my brother being pissed when jetix became disney XD. It kind of screwed over a lot of shows. It always makes me happy to see youtubers talk about more obscure or niche shows and television blocks from my childhood.
This show was kinda ahead of it's time with the portrayal of Master Yo, he was the original grumpy master whose both extremely knowledgeable and powerful, but also a lazy selfish bum who rather watch tv. His dynamic with Yin and Yang reminds me of Grunkle Stan. Also I firmly remember the episode where both of them trade their youth away because they want to grow up and Yin gets lots of attention from boys, but mistakes it for them being interested in what she has to say. Idk how that aged, but I sure remember it.
I vividly remember this show airing on its original run in Italy when i used to have Sky on my television. I like the characters, the jokes, the style and the world setting as well. Now, i haven't watched it in years, but yeah, everyone agree that Carl is a show stealer. He kinda reminds me of those comedic villains who wants to be taken seriously. I also remember some of the villains as well aside from Ultimoose, one is a rich fish in a robotic suit (does this remind you of anything?) with a Swedish accent, a sorceress who is a master of disguise, a group of kitten criminals that are just the Powerpuff Girls, and of course, what everybody remembers the most is the anime waifu, Smoke.
I can remember that one episode where Seth MacFarlane guest starred as a creature named The Manotaur. It probably helps that he worked with Steve Marmel on Johnny Bravo and Cow And Chicken before they went to work on other projects.
Ayy, I loved this show as a kid! The characters were so easy to draw that I believe it was the first instance of me drawing actual fanart. Also the first show that made me realize that same creators can work on different productions, like, Bob Boyle's geometric designs were so unique, when Wow Wow Wubsie came out I automatically recognized the artstyle as his and I was blown away. It was like a Fairy Odd Parents/Danny Phantom situation
I actually remember that, it was kinda surreal seeing them turn realistic. Plus there was an appearance from Jason Earles and Mitchel Musso, though I'm not into the live-action sitcoms Disney does, I thought that was worth pointing out.
Speaking of the "wait do you remember", I unironically always hold shows like YinYangYo, Get Ed, SRMTHFG, Wow wow Wubbzy, and others in a special place I never forget, but Grojband. Now that stirred up some memories. There are those cartoons from not exactly my childhood, that are more recent but still old that have completely slipped my mind. I'd love to see a video on that show. I think I enjoyed it. Also wasn't there a show on CN about a group of villians that were bad at being evil?
Yeah L.O.S.E(League of Super Evil) was one of the few CN shows I actually liked around that dark time period, but I never heard anyone ever talk about it.
Super looking forward to an episode on Jimmy Two Shoes. It had a VERY interesting production history, including the main story being not so cleverly censored in order to fit the disney branding. There was even a movie planned and supposedly a 'lost pilot' that had the original story. It's an interesting rabbit hole.
Man Ying Yang Yo was a show that i had memories and really loved it every time that Jetix showed it...when it wasn't Pucca or the Fairly Odd Parents (Latin America schedule was weird i know) Master Yo nowdays is a spirit pal, the whole pseudo-episodic feel that the show had was a positive and Carl is just a great villain and his mother...that gag was just hilarious. It was a good show it's good that it ended the way it did although would've loved a season 3 but eh i'm happy with what we got. Now we need to see Jordan vs the Great Kawashima that would be phenomenal jk Great video Jordan! Keep the great work man
Yeah, almost forgot that Fairly Odd Parents aired on Jetix in Latin America. I'm not from Latin America, but I found this out when I was little, and was pretty jealous that you guys had a whole 24hr channel, while us Americans got stuck with a evening-to-late night block.
The most memorable thing about this show for me is how it taught me what the word "sarcasm" means (I don't remember if it taught me the definition or just made me aware of that word but either way that's how I learned sarcasm exists basically)
UA-cam recommending me your channel over the Christmas season only for me to binge *all* of what's available up to now has been the best nostalgia back scratcher I've ever received, thank you. Holding out hope you'll talk about one of my favorite animations growing up, Code: Lyoko, but I'm perfectly content with what you've talked about so far.
I was not expecting to catch this in my recommendations at all, I swear, Jetix shows are so underrated. This show deserves WAY more love and attention than it got. Yang is my fav character and I also like Yo and Yin. Now that you made a review on this show, if you haven’t already, can you do one on Pucca? Ofc this is just a suggestion and not a request but Pucca is also pretty underrated imo.
This show was pretty dear to me, it's one of those very underrated and lesser-known or talked about cartoons that held up very well. Over the years I would just think about some obscure cartoons I used to watch and give them a look again. I used to watch the episodes on UA-cam, I believe they are still up to, I just watched and watched, the comedy, action, and rogues galley kept me entertained still, it was definitely kinda like Teen Titans on that regard And Carl The Evil Cockaroach Wizard was a personal favorite for the same reasons you listed. The funny thing is that he is actually very powerful and could beat his more beloved and successful ant brother, Herman. But he's so insecure it's one of the reasons why Yin and Yang can get the best of him, that was actually explored in an episode and when Carl found a counter, he suddenly could defeat the rabbit twins. I really get a kick of characterization like that and how it could be implemented into a solid narrative. Anyways, love this show. Heck, I might just watch it again sometime.
Ah yes, the show that even nowadays has a growing fandom on fics and fanarts xD Had a great balance but always played safe, instead of developing more the lore of the magic martial art, the villains, the twins' mother.
I loved this show as a kid. Honestly, I would more than happily sit and listen to you talk about the villains because they're all great. Smoke and Mirrors were great, I loved everything about them, but they also, from what I remember worked great as evil counterparts to Yin and Yang, also being siblings if my memory serves me. Yuck was also a lot of fun, and honestly just really nice. And honestly, I could go on about how much I loved the different villains for ages.
Finally a cartoon I don't remember actually watching! :D I am gonna enjoy this I didn't watch jetX as a kid cause we had a basic cable plan, Just Nickelodeon, Boomerang and Cartoon Network. Also could you do a video on Skyland? It was an obscure mid 00's 3D mocap animesque cartoon from france with a post-apocalyptic setting where the earth was shattered into pieces and aired on Nick here in Latin America It was one of my fav shows growing up but only got one season, sadly
Also nightmaster looks like a villain that I would've had a crush on as a kid, I had/have a thing for slender evil edgelord wizards, like NoHeart from the carebears countdown, that villain from season one of winxclub, I think his name was "DarkHeart" but I couldn't speak a lot of english back then so I called him "Zarkarth", a much better name imo xD OH and dorkeus from planet sheen, that show was utter trash but I watched it solely cause I liked his design
Same feelings, dude. Carl The Evil Cockroach Wizard is my favorite villain too because he oozes with the same funny writing that made Dr. Doofenshmirtz so hilarious.
Man, I remember watching a lot of stuff on Jetix as a kid, feels like was a longer running thing then it really was, but some good times there. Think they handled the digimon tamers movies, some formative memories there haha
I was literally talking about this show with a coworker the other day. My FIRST thought was literally, "When is Jordan going to do a video on Yin Yang Yo!?" Here we are.
God, the "Wait... Remember" series is unlocking all kinds of random memories. I have so many vague recollections of shows I used to watch on teletoon/YTV as a kid. Unfortunately the only one who's name I remember is a D- at best one called "coconut Fred's fruit salad island". I remember it managed to catch me with my ADHD but looking back I only remember it being more like fanboy and chumchum or planet sheen than, say, Yin Yang Yo. The more I think the more comes to mind. There was "Jimmy Two Shoes", and some weird secret agent type thing I think was named something like -"romeo and juliet"?- Delilah and Julius. The main thing of the latter I remember was a weird point and click flash game. Then there was an absolute classic "Spider Riders". The MMO flash(?) game thing for it lasted a surprisingly long time. I might have to go through the early 2000s lineup of both channels if they're archived.
I don't remember much about the plot of the episodes, but I remember some of the jokes (like the bounced check that actually bounces, or when some villain threatened Yin and Yang that they would cut their ears off, making Yin and Yang confused as to how that would work, since their ears kind of float above their heads). The one episode I remember is one where Yang attempts to learn a spell from one of Yin's scrolls, botches it, and becomes invisible and intangible as a result, not being able to talk to or interact physically with anyone or anything. After that, the only way he could interact with anything was by learning some weird technique in which he... farts.
Despite being an avid Nickelodeon watcher, I do remember this show being on. Obviously, I don't vividly remember watching a full episode, just remembered the theme song, but I did watch an episode a few years ago, and I liked it. I'm kinda surprised that this show isn't on Disney+, however. They got SRMTHFG on there, but not another one of Jetix's beloved shows?
Used to LOVE Yin Yang Yo back when it first aired and it still it one of my favourite shows from my childhood! Every time Carl the Evil Cockroach Wizard would be involved in an episode it was a guaranteed awesome afternoon watch
Man I remembered this show just from seeing the pink ear of Ying just barely in my notifications! This was apart of my middle school schedule man, I couldn’t believe that they canceled this classic… This show had the one anime female antagonist that made my neurons active after a hard day of ELA and bullies 👀
Ah yes, YinYangYo! This was one of the series I used to watch aside from Pucca. My favorite episodes are the two parter where Yin got corrupted by Coope’s dark form and turn into a goth. And thus begins my adoration for goths and the corruption arc came to be.
I’ve only watched a few episodes of Yin Yan Yo. It’s definitely got a good style to it. Funny how this was made by the same person that created Wow Wow Wubbzy and also composed by Michael Tavera, the composer of Lilo and Stitch The Series, Secret Saturdays, the Land Before Time, that really weak Me. Magoo movie sequels and so much more.
Every day UA-cam will remind me of a long forgotten memory from years in the past. I don’t know how long this can last but it’s been years and it hasn’t stopped.
I remember watching the hell out of this show! I just love the dynamic of the main characters and the series has as much action as Digimon that it often aired alongside (this and SRMTHG)
My younger brother and I are 11 years apart. So this show came out when he was really young. We would watch it together and always yelled out I'm Carl the Evil Cockroach Wizard. The show has such an amazing place in my heart, and I would love for it to get more love. The adult jokes in the show were so funny 🤣. If it ever does get revived, I hope they bring all the original team back. Cause they did an amazing job
I forgot how much Jetix I use to watch. Like I'm slowly questioning how I managed to just absorb content like this was way before UA-cam & Streaming too so I'm honestly impressed with my younger self
Wow, this is a show I haven't seen in a long time. I still remember watching it on Jetix and having a blast. Too bad it didn't last, would it hurt Disney to give them more episodes (at the time, because I doubt they know it existed at all)?
I have this notebook from when I was younger with Yin on it and I couldnt remember what this show was called and would end up trying to search for it until I eventually gave up. Then this video popped up. Thank you for reminding me its been killing me trying to remember this show and I can now be at peace knowing.
The one memory that I have a lingering in my mind from the show was when they had the two guys from Hannah Montana ( Mitchel Musso and Jason Earles) played them selves and Yin and yang were looking like realistic rabbits who had to save their dog friend. I think about it often.
Man that whole "sub plot" about Musso and Earles being sort of typical sitcom friendly rivals over their hair was just odd and bizarre, even for the show's standards xD
This show was also released in Latin America on the 18th of December, 2006. The theme song has constantly been coming back to over the years and ill often google "blue pink bunny jetix" because I can never remember the name. Jetix was the hotness in Latin America aswell, pretty much everyone I knew had their tvs tuned to the channel 24/7. I also remember the show with the Krillin looking monk who has a friend with a cowboy hat who get magical artifacts, shaolin monks or something.
I love how this channel just pops up into my recommendations once every blue moon & hits me with the steel baseball bat of Nostalgia Ying Yang Yo was one of my absolute favourite shows
Two episodes I remember from this show are the time Seth MacFarlane appeared as a character named Manotaur whose running gag is that he has five fingers compared to everyone else, and another one, for some reason, has Hannah Montana actors Mitchell Musso and Jason Earles just yutzing around in one episode...because Disney did random synergy like that for some reason.
2000s shows was quite a unique era of TV shows and I miss them so dearly. Yin Yang Yo! is awesome and i miss it along with What's with Andy, Kid vs Kat, Tutenstein, Totally Spies and many more. Thanks to this vid, i'll go someday rewatch those shows.
When I tried to remember this show I really thought its designs had way more detail in them and weren't just shapes, this video just clashes with my memories.
i used to watch this with my grandpa when he babysat me nd my siblings, he unfortunately passed away a year later, this show is literally a memory of him for me
Oh my god THIS SHOW. I have bingewatched this thing maybe 3 times now and you're making me want to bring it up to 4. This show was just everything, the characters are great, the comedy is amazing, and you hit it dead on with the show being very self contained. This cartoon was definetly one of the good ones where you didn't have to worry about an overarching plot and could just enjoy the silly dynamics of each episode. And Carl was the queer icon I needed in life. Just Slay King.
When I was a kid, I thought celebrities appearing in different movies and shows was weird but then I accepted it. then I saw this and thought it was the same thing for cartoons cause I thought that the bunny girl was the same as Anais and Panini. My young brain didn't know how cartoons worked back then 💀😂 I miss being this innocent
Fun fact: A decade or two ago, Bob Boyle stated that if Yin Yang Yo! DID continue, he wanted to make an anime spinoff with a darker tone. But it didn't come to light when the show got cancelled! Since Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, Animaniacs, Rugrats, and even the Proud Family had reboots, Yin Yang Yo! needs one too! (: BTW, thanks for the great vid! I'm glad you remembered Yin Yang Yo! and even Jetix with it! I'm a Jetix megafan myself (and still!) That show was, in my opinion, a groundbreaking game changer in both the animation field and the action genre.
@@JustCallMeHeavy I don't know, maybe discover Yin's and Yang's past, the Night Master still being alive and wanting revenge, find out about Master Yo's wife, etc. That's all I picked up so far.
OMG I loved this show as a kid! This and Pucca were my favorite Jetix shows when I was little! I remember a few of the episodes, and I even had that same Jetix sample DVD! Fun times!
I remember this other kung fu show I don’t think many people have ever heard of. It was this show called, I believe, Chop Sukey Chickens or something like that. It had this evil fish dude who looked more like a bean as the main villain, all taking place in a huge ass shopping centre/city. Anyone else remember that?
CHOP SOCKY CHOOKS LET'S GOOOOO I used to watch that show on ABC3 all the time as a kid, it was such a bizarre show but man the designs of the city and background characters genuinely ruled
It was on Cartoon Network, I believe. I remember being very confused because why the heck would you call them "chooks" instead of just calling them chickens? Must have been a copyright thing.
The thing I remember most from that show was that Carl was a cockroach, his brother was an ant and their mother was a dragon. I just want to know the backstory to THAT!
Fun Fact: Yin was voiced by Stephanie Morganstern, who is best known as the first dub voice of Sailor Venus and as Steffy from the short-lived Nelvana series Birdz.
Yin Yang Yo I think nowadays is what I would call a "B-Cartoon" compared to other stuff that was airing at the same time, and I absolutely loved it as a kid. Also can confirm, I'm a twin (the older one) and whoever is the older twin will constantly rub it in the other one's face, even if the age difference is only by a couple minutes, even if the younger one is actually the more mature one.
Thanks so much for watching, do you have any fond memories of Yin Yang Yo! and/or Jetix in general? Let me know! (I really said Ultramoose instead of Ultimoose, omg 😱 lmao) p.s. the hunger force instead of hyper force is a joke though 😌

I secretly draw Yin and Yang's exact character designs in my math class sometimes.... 🤭
I've never watched the show [I'd really like to] but every time I saw pictures of it, I thought to myself "the art style looks like a mix of Danny Phantom and Wow Wow Wubbzy and I'm all for that" and once I heard info in the creators, I exclaimed out lout "I KNEW IT!!!!"
Awesome video all around, it's definitely unfortunate this didn't get a third season.
I could kinda call it furry Robotboy but with a story and with a Bob who genuinely cared about the show he was making.
Of course I remember it, the intro theme for this show echoes thru my head at least once a week.
Right?? For the longest time, the melody of the show would ring in my head but I could never put lyrics to it until now.
Yeah, that theme song always comes back even though I barely remember anything else from the show lol
Bruh somehow I remember the theme but not the fact that the main characters were a blue and pink rabbit.
Yesssss!!!!!!! My head repeats this song sometimes.
Still remember the lyrics
The show is so Iconic in my family I remember it to this day vividly (especially the opening of which we used to create jingles)
This series first introduced me to the idea of calling a Two-Horned Unicorn a "Twonicorn"(Two + Unicorn = Twonicorn),
and later on January 25, 2009 in the Simpsons episode "Lisa the Drama Queen", Lisa & her new friend Juliet write about a Fictional World that they create together, Lisa mentions that it would have a Unicorn with Two Horns, and Juliet coins the word "Twonicorn", and Lisa loves it so much that she goes with it,
I also did some research and learned that in Middle Ages/Renaissance Satirical works they have a Flesh-Eating Monster called the "Bicorn/Bycorne/Bigorne", depicted as Part Cow/Part Panther with a Humanoid Face, and it has a counterpart called the "Chichevache" a Human-Faced, Flesh-Eating, Very Thin Cow,
It was because of all of this that(to help avoid unnecessary confusion) I always call a Unicorn with Two Horns a "Twonicorn", and I also call a Unicorn with Three Horns a "Trinicorn"(Trinity + Unicorn = Trinicorn),
And I owe this to both Yin-Yang-Yo & the Simpsons, pretty interesting right? maybe?
Even if a two horned unicorn is called a Bicorn but they represent uh......well impurity hehe but Twoniciorns are hilarious
@@drakofox1362 I guess it would depend on how they are written/depicted as,
the idea of a Bicorn being a Carnivorous Cow-Panther Monster would be a good idea for an Antagonist for Animal characters to watch out for, or a just another Wild Beast that brave heroes would slay in battle,
and even though Twonicorns may have a silly sounding name, they could have it where their Second Horn serves a purpose, like their First Horn uses more basic magic like what Unicorns can do, but their Second Horn uses more advanced magic that Unicorns couldn't do, but it's harder to control or wears them out faster than using their First Horn does, which would be bad if they are in the middle or a battle or a war,
or they could have it where their First Horn uses Light Magic with additional Purifying properties, while their Second Horn uses Dark Magic & has a Corruptive influence on them making them become more Evil the more they use it, so they could try to avoid using it as much as they could,
they could even have it where a Trinicorn is the result of Three Unicorns combining their powers together to form a single being with Three Horns, like a Fusion form or something, with the combined magical might of all three Unicorns together, but the three individual minds would have to be in perfect sync in order to remain in that form for a prolonged period of time,
it would just depend on the ideas of the writers telling the story.
And both shows came out in the same month. How ironic.
I came here to see if anyone else noticed the wow wow wubzy similarities!
i love this kinda artstyle a lot. it feels very nostalgic and i wish it was more common
Damn bro yet another show that locked in my memories. I swear yt suggesting you was the best thing to happen on yt in awhile. Thanks for the quality content as usual.
Thanks so much for the support! 😄
My lord, you've unlocked some dormant childhood memories, I haven't seen this series in years. Thanks for the great video!
I remember that one episode where Yin got sick and her sneezing is getting out of control due to the magical dust.
The auras in _Yin Yang Yo!_ are powerful that it can break the reality more than Dr. Strange's mystical powers.
You mean the episode that parodied Looney Tunes?
@@kootunesscrewy The one with the ant wizard dude being Elmer Fudd and Yang as Bugs? I remember that.
That episode is one of my all time favorite episodes from the show, I believe it was season 1 episode 5! It's like the ONLY episode I remember from the entire show, it's burned into the back of my brain. I score it a solid 11/10
The nostalgia is so strong my heart is buzzing in my chest just remembering it.
@@kootunesscrewy No it's not that.
Omg! They broke the fourth wall when they did that episode. They even turned into their HUMAN forms which I was flabbergasted!!!! 😱🙈😆🎉
Idk how that aged, but I sure remember it.
yo how did I not pick up on this?
Master Splinter in _Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles_ is also in the same category as Master Yo.
I was actually rewatching a few episodes of it a while ago. Man, I miss Jetix. It made my weekday nights awesome growing up.
Show really does need more recognition, was honestly waiting to see if he’d say something on it
I remember the series finale where they go to the "Real" world. Shit was crazy.
Lol I don't remember that, now I want to watch that again
YinYangYou??
I actually remember that, it was kinda surreal seeing them turn realistic. Plus there was an appearance from Jason Earles and Mitchel Musso, though I'm not into the live-action sitcoms Disney does, I thought that was worth pointing out.
@@DrawciaGleam02 that's it!
I used to love this show, and this was a well made, nostalgic video
At least once a month, I mumble the theme song to myself, this show never went away, even if I never watched all of it
Yeah, that theme song always comes back even though I barely remember anything else from the show lol
Everything about Carl was amazing. He always gave me Team Rocket from Pokemon vibes.
League of super evil?
@@3064Gaming omg I remember the FCK out of that show
Yeah L.O.S.E(League of Super Evil) was one of the few CN shows I actually liked around that dark time period, but I never heard anyone ever talk about it.
@TheGlassesPro I suspect not many people remember or realize that was a separate show from Billy and Mandy, Villainous reminds me a lot of it.
Wow, L.O.S.E., now that stirred up some memories. Though I think I still quote the line “European? I’ve always wanted to go to Europea!”
Super looking forward to an episode on Jimmy Two Shoes. It had a VERY interesting production history, including the main story being not so cleverly censored in order to fit the disney branding. There was even a movie planned and supposedly a 'lost pilot' that had the original story. It's an interesting rabbit hole.
ja
Man Ying Yang Yo was a show that i had memories and really loved it every time that Jetix showed it...when it wasn't Pucca or the Fairly Odd Parents (Latin America schedule was weird i know)
Master Yo nowdays is a spirit pal, the whole pseudo-episodic feel that the show had was a positive and Carl is just a great villain and his mother...that gag was just hilarious.
It was a good show it's good that it ended the way it did although would've loved a season 3 but eh i'm happy with what we got.
Now we need to see Jordan vs the Great Kawashima that would be phenomenal jk
Great video Jordan!
If u mind me asking what part of Latin America are u?
From Paraguay
I loved Pooca too lmao that show was memorable
The most memorable thing about this show for me is how it taught me what the word "sarcasm" means (I don't remember if it taught me the definition or just made me aware of that word but either way that's how I learned sarcasm exists basically)
UA-cam recommending me your channel over the Christmas season only for me to binge *all* of what's available up to now has been the best nostalgia back scratcher I've ever received, thank you.
Holding out hope you'll talk about one of my favorite animations growing up, Code: Lyoko, but I'm perfectly content with what you've talked about so far.
Thank you so much! And yes, later this year in a big way!
I love this show so much. I even wake up in 4am just to see it. Good old times
Yup 😂 looking at the “guide” and setting an Alarm all at 8yo
I used to watch the episodes on UA-cam, I believe they are still up to, I just watched and watched, the comedy, action, and rogues galley kept me entertained still, it was definitely kinda like Teen Titans on that regard
And Carl The Evil Cockaroach Wizard was a personal favorite for the same reasons you listed.
I think Carl could be a precursor to Doofenshmirtz.
I remember this show so much, this made me laugh my ass off so many times.
its always nice remembering my old kid shows. It shows how much everything has changed since then. I can't wait for a Regular Show one.
Ah yes, the show that even nowadays has a growing fandom on fics and fanarts xD
Had a great balance but always played safe, instead of developing more the lore of the magic martial art, the villains, the twins' mother.
To be fair, that may happen when you don't get a third season, Randy Cunningham can attest.
Kyle Massey singing the theme song will always be the highlight of the show. I remember racing home as a kid just to see the short music video.
Man out of all the characters, Smoke is the only one (sometimes Saranoia and Yin too, and rarely Lina) to get tons and tons and tons of fanart xD
@@uncannydcmarvelous5732 Huh, wonder why, lol.
I think villains are so popular because maybe, you don't need to try and make them likable like the heroes.
I always imagined that while Yin and Yang was dealing with all this action nonsense Wubbzy and his pals are just chillin
Now this is the one I've been waiting for. One of my all time favorite shows. Such an underrated gem.
I just always remember Yang yelling at himself for dropping his sword because he was turning into an actual rabbit and he just hated his paws
Finally a cartoon I don't remember actually watching! :D
I am gonna enjoy this
I didn't watch jetX as a kid cause we had a basic cable plan, Just Nickelodeon, Boomerang and Cartoon Network.
Also could you do a video on Skyland?
It was an obscure mid 00's 3D mocap animesque cartoon from france with a post-apocalyptic setting where the earth was shattered into pieces and aired on Nick here in Latin America
It was one of my fav shows growing up but only got one season, sadly
Also nightmaster looks like a villain that I would've had a crush on as a kid, I had/have a thing for slender evil edgelord wizards, like NoHeart from the carebears countdown, that villain from season one of winxclub, I think his name was "DarkHeart" but I couldn't speak a lot of english back then so I called him "Zarkarth", a much better name imo xD
OH and dorkeus from planet sheen, that show was utter trash but I watched it solely cause I liked his design
Same feelings, dude. Carl The Evil Cockroach Wizard is my favorite villain too because he oozes with the same funny writing that made Dr. Doofenshmirtz so hilarious.
I genuinely remember this show, I was like “he’s gonna cover this show one day” and here we are
I've seen this show as a kid, and it's concept of Woo Foo interested me at the time. Good times.
Jordan back at it again with a good nostalgia trip!
After that, the only way he could interact with anything was by learning some weird technique in which he... farts.
Ah yeah, that episode where Yang wanted to be invisible to prank his pals and spy his girlfriend in the bathroom...
As an older twin I can confirm that being one minute older than your sibling makes you inherently superior
They only own those 2, Get Ed and maybe W.I.T.C.H., they don't own the rest.
This was apart of my middle school schedule man, I couldn’t believe that they canceled this classic…
This show had the one anime female antagonist that made my neurons active after a hard day of ELA and bullies 👀
I watched this show because I knew it was from the guy who made Wubbzy, lol.
I wish Bob Boyle came back to make more shows in this style again.
I think it would be nice if he did another older kid show again.
I forgot how much Jetix I use to watch. Like I'm slowly questioning how I managed to just absorb content like this was way before UA-cam & Streaming too so I'm honestly impressed with my younger self
I remember Jetix! It was certainly one of my favorite parts of my childhood. Also, I have an identical twin sister, just thought I'd share. 😊
I loved JetX so much! Glad you're getting to these
Wow, this is a show I haven't seen in a long time.
I think about it often.
you unlocked a MEMORY
Which episode was that?? It's been YEARS. Probably a freaking decade by now lmao
@@Kakmanmartinez666 It's named Yin Yang You!
Man that whole "sub plot" about Musso and Earles being sort of typical sitcom friendly rivals over their hair was just odd and bizarre, even for the show's standards xD
@@uncannydcmarvelous5732 oh that's awesome! It sounds familiar

I also remember the show with the Krillin looking monk who has a friend with a cowboy hat who get magical artifacts, shaolin monks or something.
xiaolin showdown?
I love how this channel just pops up into my recommendations once every blue moon & hits me with the steel baseball bat of Nostalgia
Ying Yang Yo was one of my absolute favourite shows
Two episodes I remember from this show are the time Seth MacFarlane appeared as a character named Manotaur whose running gag is that he has five fingers compared to everyone else, and another one, for some reason, has Hannah Montana actors Mitchell Musso and Jason Earles just yutzing around in one episode...because Disney did random synergy like that for some reason.
Fun fact: Family Guy, Fairly OddParents and Yin Yang Yo! are seen as the devils of animation in France according to TV Tropes
I need a video about that
Bro this was my favourite show when I was a child thanks for bringing back these memories man
When I tried to remember this show I really thought its designs had way more detail in them and weren't just shapes, this video just clashes with my memories.
i used to watch this with my grandpa when he babysat me nd my siblings, he unfortunately passed away a year later, this show is literally a memory of him for me
Oh my god THIS SHOW.
The fact that I still watch it and make fanart is crazyy! 😅🎉 ! I love that shiw
I honestly loved this show so much as a kid.
For this being flash it’s way more animated than now flash shows
I remembered of watching Yin Yang Yo when I was a child because Jetix was a great channel in 2000's.
When I was a kid, I thought celebrities appearing in different movies and shows was weird but then I accepted it. then I saw this and thought it was the same thing for cartoons cause I thought that the bunny girl was the same as Anais and Panini. My young brain didn't know how cartoons worked back then 💀😂
I miss being this innocent
Lol that’s wholesome. Like a celebrity making their own cartoon spin off. I dig it
You should talk more about Jetix. Watching your review of Yin Yang Yo brought me some memories back of watching content from Jetix.
I wonder what that would have been like?

I remember this other kung fu show I don’t think many people have ever heard of. It was this show called, I believe, Chop Sukey Chickens or something like that. It had this evil fish dude who looked more like a bean as the main villain, all taking place in a huge ass shopping centre/city. Anyone else remember that?
CHOP SOCKY CHOOKS LET'S GOOOOO
I used to watch that show on ABC3 all the time as a kid, it was such a bizarre show but man the designs of the city and background characters genuinely ruled
I actually remember that.
It was on CITV.
Yeah I think I got what show you're talking about...wasn't the villain's name Wasabi or something?
It was on Cartoon Network, I believe. I remember being very confused because why the heck would you call them "chooks" instead of just calling them chickens? Must have been a copyright thing.
This was huge in LATAM, I watched every episode back to back when it aired.
Yes, once again, you have dug up an old ass memory of my childhood 😭
literally just remembered out of nowhere that yin yang yo existed and came to youtube to see if anyone had talked about it, very good video!!!
Australia had this show to. I can remember watching this.
