Since losing my brother in law to suicide, then my dad to Dementia three weeks later, I have not celebrated Christmas. I have since left the toxic family that led to the suicide, so celebrating the holidays on my own this year. I will decorate super early, on Thanksgiving Day, which I’ll also be celebrating on my own. Anyway, decided to leave my traditional ornaments in the basement this year. Going all sweet, soothing, and sugary pastels. Ordered some handmade bunny slippers with pink ears, and will get some special pink cozy pjs, too.
Hi Jen. My deepest condolences for your loss. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been to lose 2 members of your family consecutively. Hope this holiday season will be a better one for you. I'm sure your decorations will be beautiful!!!

I am still walking like normal. I get to see my doctor in about a couple of weeks. I'm just thankful I can walk. For the most part my leg is doing well.
