oh MY WORD…thats early. This November I’ll be married 40 years last year I began decorating for Christmas the week before Thanksgiving I did my Christmas village on my main sideboard in my entryway and I redid my little mini fairy gardens(theres five), into ‘snow globes’ so I had those things done by Thanksgiving…oh and my two bedrooms had the faux trees… that’s all I had done at Thanksgiving time!!!
I start decorating the week after Halloween. I have 2 trees to do and about 25 snow villages houses to put out. My love of Christmas decorating makes me think why wait.?
Way to early. Never celebrate Halloween. It's the devil's holiday and there is enough evil in the world. Thanksgiving is extremely important and the the Birth of Christ.
Yay!!!! I start decorating Halloween night after may babies go to sleep . It's one of my favorite days of the yr. Turn on the christmas music fire place and put up all the garland and start to decorate!
ya know…Ok, since my daughter married in 2013, Id started doing the winterwonderland white, icy, theme w/snow owls, and teal accents….so, thats Ten years of that…Last year I added in a little red….this year, I think I’ll go ALL white&Red!!!!
I am I loooove with the new classic gingerbread light up houses! I love the classic gingerbread and white. So gorgeous. And I've already been binging your christmas decorate with me videos! I'm so excited!
🎄 I start decorating usually right after Thanksgiving but I maybe just decorate a week or two earlier this year because my almost 5 year old loves when we have all the decorations put out.
🎄🎄🎄 I am getting started now in my bedroom. The rest of the house will hopefully be done before Thanksgiving. I had 7 full size trees last year! I love Christmas too!
I use to decorate Thanksgiving night but several years ago I had a surgery and was in the hospital for Thanksgiving. My girls decided to decorate early to lift my spirits and ever since then right after Halloween it all goes up!
I have been told that there is a Scandinavia legend has it that the red topped with white spots mushrooms are poisonous to humans but Santa's reindeer eat them which is what gives them the ability to fly🦌what a sweet tale for the kiddies ❤
Usually the day after Christmas we put all the kids’ new stuff away and then we undecorate I decorate for winter - lots of snowflakes and white ! So pretty and calming!
I put my 50 hard plastic ornaments and lights outside in October. I start my inside decorating November 1st. My Christmas baking starts the Friday after Thanksgiving.
Christmas decor goes up the DAY after Halloween, November 1st the Halloween junk comes down. And the beautiful Christmas stuff goes up, can’t wait! We buy a tree the day after Thanksgiving, and put it up and decorate it then!
I use to start 2nd week of December, and now that I have a physical problem, I try to start after Thanksgiving. It takes me a longer time. I no longer have my husband to help 😊😊😊😊❤❤
If you want something that lights up on a timer, use a string of battery operated lights that have a timer instead of relying on the pre-lit options to have it. There's often plenty of unlit options that can be used with your own lights.
Same here !!! Sometimes I skip Halloween and go straight to Christmas decor lol . I just love the holidays !!!! Plus it’s only once a year and it’s so magical, so beautiful 🥰.
My first time here! I love the length of your videos, I walk on my treadmill! 😂😂😂. I love that you talk quiet and have music! So cheerful! Thank you, you’re cute and funny!
I do fall and Halloween at the same time and then put just the Halloween stuff away. Then I do winter and Christmas at the same time and then put the Christmas stuff away.
Yay! My favorite videos you do all year! I have already been buying and shopping for Christmas too. We usually put up our decorations the day after Halloween. I would personally do it sooner but the kids like the fall decor!
My dining room is classic old glass ornaments, kitchen is gingerbread, my family room is very mishmash! My boys are 32, 31 and 18. My tree is covered in all the ornaments they have made through the years and ones that I made as a kid. We don't have any from my husband. Think his mom through them all out! This year I am decorating my master bedroom and I think I'm doing more of a snot woodland theme. Also I think the elves that scare you are supposed to mimic Annalee elves
🎄We usually wait until the weekend after Thanksgiving. Thinking this year it’s going to be the weekend after Veteran’s Day since Thanksgiving is later this year and we’re going to WDW the 2nd week of December. Want to enjoy my decor a bit longer.
🌲🎄Decorating depends on when we celebrate Christmas. Usually we cannot celebrate Christmas on actual Christmas Day because my husband is out of state or sometimes overseas because of his career. We work around his schedule.
I had decided I liked you and was going to be supportive. And then the loud music started....... And I gave it up. I'm just one step away from a major migraine. So much for Christmas shopping at hobby lobby.
🎄 I don't decorate with a Halloween theme but instead decorate with an Autumn design and colours of deep reds/burgandy, greens, and mustard golds. Because of this, I am able to start tucking here and there with a few same colours of Christmas decorations within a day or two of Halloween; so far NO ONE has ever said anything. Maybe they think I'm just being quirky? However, the day after Thanksgiving......it is time to bring every single box and tote down from the attic !!! ; )
Yay!!! I love everything about this video!! I need to make a trip to Hobby Lobby! So many cute things!! We usually decorate starting November 1st! I cannot wait!! I can’t wait for your decorating videos too!! ✨❤️🎄💚✨
This weekend I am going to hobby lobby! I have been looking for gingerbread stuff but I haven’t found any in my town. The closest hobby lobby to me is 30 minutes away.
🎄 last year I put my tree up the day after Halloween but this year I’m decorating come October 1!!! Can’t wait. I’m so excited!!! 🎄 and I love your videos by the way, I can’t wait for the decorate with me 💕💕💕
I love love Christmas. My sister comes and stay one week and great nieces and brother come and stay . we put up 21 trees each room is done on a subject. Thanksgiving our kids and grandkids come and we do the outside we do 6 acres and some are custom made. I just go nuts . for Christmas
🎄🎅 I usually help my Mom get started in her decor the first weekend in November (it takes us a few weekends to get it all out) and I work on mine during the week starting November 1. I can't wait to see what you put out this year!
I am doing a silver/white/gold tree in my dining room this year, so I guess I am going to Hobby Lobby for some ornaments! 🎄 I start decorating November 1.
🎄 I totally forgot about HL! The closest one is 30 min from us so I have to remember to shop their holiday decor. Our centerpieces for the tables at our wedding came from there. they only had a few of the lanterns in stock and I needed like 20 so I kept going back getting rainchecks for the 50% off. We usually decorate after Thanksgiving. The HOA makes us wait til then and we like to do it all in one weekend
🎄 I like to have my decor up before Thanksgiving because we host Thanksgiving for my hubby's family and I like it to up for that. I will actually decorate the first or second weekend in November though.
Mushrooms are one of the most ancient symbols for Yuletide. In Europe the Amanita muscaria mushrooms have been as iconic at Christmas as a wreath, a star or candle or holly. And it's not just a German tradition as one commenter suggested. If you've ever shopped in Ikea you would see that every year Ikea ALWAYS carries mushroom ornaments. Mushrooms are actually etched in archaic pagan and then early Christian art than say the pinecone which a lot of Americans identify as a Christmas decoration.
We enjoy fall through Halloween and Thanksgiving, then decorate for Christmas on Black Friday! We put on our record of the Charlie Brown Christmas movie soundtrack (and more Christmas music when that’s finished) and decorate! We also like to do some sort of Christmassy or semi-Christmassy thing, like bake Christmas cookies or make hot cocoa and watch a Christmas movie.🎄
I start the week of thanksgiving. I do have winter decorations- you mentioned that during your video. I have a snowman theme that I keep up through January and into February. I'm in PA so we still get snow into March.
I want to go ahead and pull my Christmas stuff out. 😂 I’m about to give birth to baby #3 and my fall stuff is out but halfway through October the Christmas stuff is coming out!
☃️⛄️❄️🎄 I start decorating around the 15th of November. I go hard with the decor, so it takes me a bit to get everything into place, while still trying to live life, Lol.
Don't worry Ashley, I like grapes but nothing grape flavored, so you liking the gingerbread aisle because it's Christmassy to you, but not liking gingerbread foods is not weird. And if it is, let's be weird together!!!🎄🎅🦌When do I start decorating for Christmas? Well, my Christmas tree is up and fully decorated year-round, so technically I don't undecorate fully!! For the rest of the decorations, I usually wait until at least November 1st, but I keep it all up until after New Year's so I'm not just putting it up to take it all down right away.
🍄 have always been on our tree 🌲. I think it has to be a European. In our kids cartoons and New Years books little animals like bunnies 🐰 or hedgehogs 🦔 would always bring mushrooms 🍄 to the tree for decorations.😊
🎄I usually put my Christmas decor up the weekend after Halloween. Then my family decorates the Christmas tree on Thanksgiving weekend. 🎅🏻

I also decorate Halloween night and find so much joy in doing so.
It’s my favorite time too. Love Christmas!

"Gotta stay focused" = that's me EVERY time I go into Hobby Lobby! No matter the season.😅🎄
I didn’t know I needed this video! I don’t decorate until November but boyyyyy did this make me excited for the best time of year!
🌟 My Nativity Set is the 1st thing I put out for Christmas.
🎄🎄🎄 Christmas starts going up from November 1st!! 🥰💞
🎄🎅🤶 I am ready for Christmas!! I don't decorate until the weekend after Thanksgiving but I love shopping for it and preparing. Thank you for sharing
🎄Halloween Night after the last Trick or Treater visits.
“What’s up with all the mushrooms?” 🍄 😂😂😂
I believe it German tradition
In Germany we have had mushrooms for quite some time now as Christmas Decorations.
I am I loooove with the new classic gingerbread light up houses! I love the classic gingerbread and white. So gorgeous. And I've already been binging your christmas decorate with me videos! I'm so excited!
I think you love Christmas as much as I do! I have been shopping on line for Christmas at Hobby Lobby since August! Cannot stop!!
🎄 I start decorating usually right after Thanksgiving but I maybe just decorate a week or two earlier this year because my almost 5 year old loves when we have all the decorations put out.
I’m glad I’m not the only one baffled by the mushrooms!
Woodland / Fairy Christmas
@@traceytansley1659 thank you!!!
This was fun!!!
Now if your cabinets are white and your hardware is gold I would definitely go with the gold ribbon❤ class it up
Thanks for looking at the ribbon! It is the main thing I switch out on my tree every year so I love looking at it. ❤❄️
I am so excited for this video right now!!! I’m so ready for Christmas 🎄
🎄🎄🎄 I am getting started now in my bedroom. The rest of the house will hopefully be done before Thanksgiving. I had 7 full size trees last year! I love Christmas too!
yay so ready for Christmas
I use to decorate Thanksgiving night but several years ago I had a surgery and was in the hospital for Thanksgiving. My girls decided to decorate early to lift my spirits and ever since then right after Halloween it all goes up!
Love the snowball looking ornaments. ⛄️
🎄🎅🏻☃️We start decorating the beginning of November.
We begin decorating the weekend after Thanksgiving 🎄 Thank you for the shop with you video, loved it 💜

Yay!!!! I was just thinking the other day you'll be decorating soon and it makes me so happy. I could totally skip Halloween and put up my tree today.
Christmas decor goes up the DAY after Halloween, November 1st the Halloween junk comes down. And the beautiful Christmas stuff goes up, can’t wait! We buy a tree the day after Thanksgiving, and put it up and decorate it then!
🎄I decorate anytime after Halloween. Whenever the moment strikes and no one is sick!
🎄 I start decorating the week before 1st Advent. I love the Advent-calendar you showed. All the little houses. ❤❤❤
I use to start 2nd week of December, and now that I have a physical problem, I try to start after Thanksgiving. It takes me a longer time. I no longer have my husband to help
😊😊😊😊❤❤
Glad you still do it.❤
The mushrooms are VERY European! Love them…..red polka dot mushrooms.😊
❄❄❄ November 1 is when Christmas goes up
Real
I love that the pastel candy stuff is including more purple this year!!! Ugh there’s so much cute stuff this year 😍😍😍 I can’t wait to decorate

Omg I’ve been waiting for this!!! I start decorating November 1st and it stays up until January 6th. 🎄🎅🏻

Yes Christmas!!! Can’t wait for your haul and decorating videos!!
I would use the pastel for Easter and spring. 🎉🎉
Thank you, great haul 🩷
My first time here! I love the length of your videos, I walk on my treadmill! 😂😂😂. I love that you talk quiet and have music! So cheerful! Thank you, you’re cute and funny!
You can get timers to plug in the things you want to light up and shut off at certain times. You can connect several things on an extension cord.
I'm so glad I watched this! Thank you for your walk through of HL. Those ice cream cones and cotton candy would make good props for photos.
That lazy Susan tree is such a cute idea !! Love it a lot !!!
If anyone owns a sweet shop, now is the time to shop for decorations! So cute!
Right?! That's what I was thinking!
This was so fun I love,love Christmas 🎄 ❤
I agree I like the timers on a lot of those lit Christmas decorations
It just makes it easier to enjoy the decorations.
Thank you, getting excited for the Christmas season!!!❤️🎄 the mushrooms were cracking me up! We decorate thanksgiving weekend🎅🏻
Lol 2012 wedding here too and yes! That peacock color was the in thing. David’s bridal had it 😂😂😂
40:16 thank you for the shoutout 😊❤️. So happy you found it!! 🎄
I’ll be decorating with you in October 🎉🎅🏻
Black and gold ribbon would be amazing on white cabinets!
I do fall and Halloween at the same time and then put just the Halloween stuff away. Then I do winter and Christmas at the same time and then put the Christmas stuff away.

The red mushrooms are all over Europe. Hanging a mushroom ornament on a tree is for good luck.

You know your device has a volume control…..
It would be nice if they would have a leather texture for the Christmas tree collars 🎄

🎄 I decorate soon after thanksgiving if not thanksgiving
🎄 I start decorating my house first of November so I have some time to really enjoy my house
