Surprises me how many people don't realise he is a jazz guitarist..and phenomenal at that. Great technique
Benson is one of the greatest musicians to ever pickup the guitar....a Legend.

yes
Its humbling to be able to experience this.
Him and Larry Carlton
@@guitarttimmanDo believe that Larry Carlton could have improvised at the tempo they were playing?
The greates BENSON on his own universe

Stanley Banks great player, funky as hell.
This whole thing is crazy beautiful,,, off the charts!! Every player is on fire... Im shocked this hasn't bveen recognized as one of the greatest Jazz accomplishments of all time.
Who else noticing George's Bass player Stanley Banks dancing while playing, bopping that head side to side? That cat is always having a good time! 9:03
There's about 250 years of musical experience on that stage. Clark Terry & James Moody,....DAMN !
George Benson a Hall of Fame guitarist !!!!!
That STANLEY BANKS is one wicked, confident, and diabolical bass player if any..
With the ever underrated Clark Terry! One of the greats of jazz trumpet.
Agreed...love his R&B feel too...absolutely one of the greatest Guitarists to ever Play....virtuoso with emotions and feeling and nearly limitless ability...
This is JUST AWESOME ! George Benson and all
yes!
Wow the kinda music i love.This is what i lke.Undescretible,fantastic,owesome,divine ...
Stanley Banks on the bass!
I'm in awe. I'm half Finnish and a jazz fan since 1978 & this is the first time I'm seeing this. Really impressive. Similar to the Jazz Crusaders (sic) at Montreux - similar vintage. Makes you realise these days, we are so shallow.
........ you mean Rap doesn't measure up to this stuff ?!?! Tee-hee-hee !
Love a bit of jazz from George Benson this cold, rainy 🌄 morning
Man!!! Benson is my all time favorite followed by Joe Pass then Wes Montgomery..what a lineup of super guitarist. Benson seems to know what to play seemlessly no matter what the speed or style...What a talent he is, these current guys playing now are great too but they all have to reconize George's remarkable talent and contribution to the jazz world. He's copied but never matched, thank you George for sharing your spectacular gift.
Yes ! Where do people like Mango Belo and Pepe Rodriguez stand on your scale ? And Zizi Beluga ? Rating Benson, Pass and Wes. You've got balls and zero brain buddy
Who are these people you are talking about i tried to pull them up on you tube and I got cooking chefs not music.
@@foxybrown2 ...thank u he don't know what he's taking about everybody George is the man thanks 0 brains guy pull up any other of George's UA-cam videos they not hard to find.
Bo Reed ,yeah you are right. What do you think about tucker andress, and tom emmanuel?
Are you nuts. Wes is the destroyer of all human beings when it comes to the guitar and number two is without doubt Grant Green. GB can start contending for third.
- first heard white rabbit lying on a lux bed in the cologne hotel just across from the cathedral in 1977 first time I’d ever heard fm radio. Lil boy transported into the ancient modern world of Europe. Unforgettable thnx GB.....
That is simply wonderful music
George Benson could pick up every tune and it would sound great, a master among other masters!!!
blessed are those who heard such jams.. seven stars
We know and love it all in Ukraine! Thank you very much indeed for sharing!!!
So god damn gooood. I thank to god, Mr. George was born!
he is so great it is just natura for him it just comes out like Django
Wow! I'd never heard GB like that before. The whole band, so fluid and yet tight. Thanks for positing this.
James Moody.- reed King!
Pure feeling and emotion. There is not equal.
Benson, you are the man,so goood,I dont know why other guys call themselves guitar players,
Arturo Esquivias "I don't know why others call themselves guitars players " ha ha ha 🤣🤣
Crazy showcase of talent right here
Thank you for naming all the musicians that were accompanying George Benson
That's some awesome horn players too. Wow!
G.B, what more can you say!
What a Benson...crazy lines..fast ever

Long Live King George!
Esse cara.... ahhh esse cara....
Here from George's interview with Rick Beato and the solo for this song appearing in Downbeat and how Freddie Hubbard told George he couldn't play the solo!
Bellissimo ! GEORGE is at GENIUS!!
Overwhelmingly brilliant!
Great performance 🙂👍
How many people get to play with a guitar that's named after them? Not many. LOL Go George!!

Wonderfull!!!
Noooooon trop foooort 😳 😌😋 👍 👍 J'a-do-re ! ! !
magnificent
Just sick! TY so much for posting.
I was surprised Benson didn't grandstand the other members, but he was professional and a gentleman
sun Tao naw he wouldn't have done that to Moody and Terry...but he grandstanded Carlos Santana on a UA-cam vid I watched.
Benson seems to approach guitar like a pro boxer...he tends to outbox the competition, and he def has the weapons to achieve victory.
Bravo !!!
Beautiful Elegance.....w9w
RIP Clark
whoa.
I love Benson but the BASSPLAYER here is just staggering! Damn that's some tasty bassplaying
Dear Lord, George!

Kick ass
@3:48 It sounds like Clark Terry is quoting "Cumbanchero".
He is.
Clark Terry
I don't know what you said, but it started with CLARK TERRY, SO I HAVE TO AGREE !

Those lucky MF's in the audience got to see two titans, George Benson and Patrice Rushen (probably without even knowing her extreme talents) in the same festival.
