- I'm finally unboxing my Beautylish XL Lucky Bag 2024. It's taken 10 extra days to get to my house, but I'm so excited to see what's in here. This is a once a year mystery box you can purchase the day after Christmas and there are many variations of the box. I spent $150 for the box plus an additional $34.79 for shipping and tax. Total price of the box was $184.79. Beautylish says that each XL box will be worth $300 or more. Let's see if I'm lucky.

I used to love mystery boxes but it turns out I just love getting packages. I have done yarn, beauty, and nail mystery boxes but I’ve learned to just buy what I want because I was often disappointed. Are you on Ravelry, the yarn site? Dangerous place to be. 💕🐾💕📦

Same. I've had to admit to myself that I'm too fussy to enjoy surprises.
I have to stay away from yarn sights until I finish the 5 or 6 WIPs that I have, and cut my yarn stash in half. I could crochet for another year straight and not have to get anymore yarn. Of course I will, but I shouldn't. I like Ravelry, but I try not to spend too much time unless I'm looking for a pattern to use what I already have.
I love getting packages too. I was tracking this package for a week and a half straight! I met the FedEx guy at the door before he could even knock! That's how much I like getting packages. : )
This is the only mystery bag that I enjoy. All the rest of them fill me with anxiety, so I just don't anymore. I haven't every had a bad lucky bag, so I'm still willing to get this every year.
Oh I love that burgundy pencil. I love a smudgy murky burgundy pencil. Oh and that Danessa palette. That thing is a stunner.

I thought I was one of the last ones to get my package. Mine was also delayed because of the snowstorm. I think you received a nice selection of products. I got a few duds but I am excited to try the Viseart palette I received.
I couldn't believe how delayed my box was. I'm glad it finally arrived. I know weather is slowing things down, but it's finally starting to warm up and thaw a bit where I live. I'm grateful for that. Thanks for watching today. I hope you liked what you got in your box.
I have never gotten a mystery box before. I guess I am too nervous that it would be stuff I didn't like. But this one seems to be a real winner. Enjoy your box!!

I actually found your channel because of the Lucky Bag videos! I decided to skip this year after getting them the last two years. Last year I got a really lucky one (valued over $450) but all of the products except for two were not products I’d actually use - so lucky in value, not practicality. Still love watching the unboxing though! I think you got a good one! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for making the time to watch. I always love seeing what other people get in the Lucky Bags. I didn't allow myself to start watching videos until mine arrived and I had unboxed it. I've been binging Lucky Bag Unboxings yesterday and today! If you don't get value from the contents, it doesn't matter how much it's worth. I'm glad that you skipped this years box. Don't buy what doesn't work for you.

I enjoy the Beautylish lucky bag. This year’s box was a little disappointing for me (I received items I never use: liquid liner and false lashes, for example), but I got one or two nice items (small Viseart palette and Charlotte Tilbury spf cream). However, the last two years I had good boxes, so I will hopefully be able to afford another box again later this year. Thank you for sharing your unboxing with us!

I wasn't planning on filming, so it was a minimal makeup day. (and my hair was nuts) I'm wearing the Auric Glowlust in Morganite all over my face, Beauty Pie's Super luminous under eye genius, and 2 swipes of the Merit Minimalist in Bone across my cheekbones and blended into the rest of my face. I used the EM Cosmetics Pillow Plush Blush in Peanut, Glossier Boy Brow, elf Lash EXTNDR and Tom Ford Matte lipstick in 100. This is what my "non filming days" look like. I love makeup, but I'm really quite busy and don't spend more than 5-7 minutes putting makeup on for my regular days. I love the days that I film, because I get to sit and play. It's theraputic.
The Viseart palette seems to be something that many people are dealing with. I'm not the only one.
I used to do subscription boxes and they were really fun to get. Now, I just stick with buying online or in the stores. You got a lot of nice products in this box.
I stopped getting subscription boxes a while ago because there was so much stuff I never used. It felt like a waste. This is the only mystery box I still get, and it brings me so much joy and excitement each year. Thanks for watching.
YAY!!!!!! I’m glad u got it!!!! I’m finally getting my deliveries too 🤣🤣🤣 omg my lip liners are gorgeous Natasha! Perfect neutral pinks ever I got 2and 2.5 and the new berry one it’s so bright lol but SO pretty!!! Goes really well with the pillow talk medium on top kinda cute the brightness gorgeous with my natural pink blush 🤣🤣🤣 I’ve already used up the Clarins mini oil it looked hot pink too
I'm glad your boxes are getting delivered. I've been thinking about picking up some ND lippies, but . . . I'm up to my eyeballs in new lipsticks at the moment, but that new one in the raspberry color is calling to me!
I don’t get beauty boxes, but I will say that I’m obsessed with Charlotte Tilbury single eye shadow products - both the pencil version you got in your lucky box and the pot version!!!
I haven't tried this Color Chameleon before, and it's been years since I've had one of the potted eyeshadows. I think I had Marie Antoinette. (I'm sure the names have changed since I last had one) I feel like I'm headed into my more minimal eye makeup season. January-March usually is my minimal makeup season of the year. These pencils will be perfect for an easy eye look, and let me lean into more fun in my lipstick collection.
This year was my first mystery box I liked everything in it except the RMS lip thingy. I also got a Wayne Goss pallet that I’m quite enjoying. I hope he doesn’t do anything to that formula it’s a delight. I got a Le Creuset mystery box this year and I had so much fun with that I decided why not try a makeup one.

I'm not a huge fan of the RMS lip product. 😔 I love so many of the WG products. I hope he keeps doing similar eyeshadow formulas in the future.
@@thelipstickgal they have a factory to table sale and it moves around they have a VIP day and for $50 you get a mystery box. It’s only on that day. It’s supposed have something like $300 worth of cookware and at least one piece of cast iron. If it’s within driving distance it’s worth it.

I understand about the weather coast weather delaying everything. I was supposed to get a box from Merle Norman last week (finally bought some lipsticks just off their website, not affiliated with a studio), and it just came today despite it supposed to be having FedEx 2-day.
I haven't tried any Merle Norman or Yves Rocher products before. They're not even brands that I think of. (oops)

I got the exact same XL as you and it finally arrived yesterday! And I love it! My husband also has an account and he gifted me a regular bag and it was wonderful this year as well! It is not something we’ve ever done before but it was awesome to be able to get both bags! I feel very lucky bag, lucky this year! 😊

I do not order mystery boxes. I expect that I would dissatisfied with the items. I have a lot of cosmetics and I’m very picky.
I'm pretty picky too, but somehow there's enough variety that the Beautylish box seems to work for me every year. It's good to know what type of beauty consumer you are so you can always get what you need/want. Thanks for watching today.

Just received it. It was terrible. I received the Natasha Denona retro glam that is always on sale and that I already have. The rest of the box was very lackluster. Nothing fun or luxurious (although I have to admit Unit brushes are good brushes). 😢
I am so happy you got that palette! You are going to love it. It is her best formula to date. IMO. I did get a XL and I am happy with it. I got a duplicate palette so I will bless a friend with it. Good bag. Enjoy. ❌️⭕️

What a fun box. I’ve never subbed to any beauty boxes as I feel like I would use only a few things (maybe), but every time I see one I love it. Oh, as far as the Verb Ghost oil, I have curly hair (I have a pixie cut and it’s fine), and this oil is the ONLY one I can use as it is weightless. I am not a fan of silicones either, and since my hair is fine and short I need to be careful. I think on your ends it would not cause any issues. ❤I also have been dying for that Danessa palate and need to try the Wayne G liners, too.
My kids have already claimed the Verb hair oil. They love the scent of it. I'll never see it again! :) I'm so excited about the Lightwork V palette. I can't wait to use it! Thanks for watching today.

You got a great bag! I wondered about the Viseart palette when I opened my box. I got the opposite palette, it was a disappointment as I love purples and pinks, lol.
Purple eyeshadow intimidates me, but I need to figure it out. I love the color purple, but I struggle with blue and purple eyeshadow. Funny how we each wanted the other palette. : ) Thanks for watching today.

Yeah, mine took forever to get to me too (it was hanging out in Eugene, OR for a week because of the weather)- I was delighted with mine. I got the Danessa Myricks Groundwork palette which I was THRILLED with. Overall, I was really happy with mine.
I LOVE the Groundwork palette. It's such a great neutral palette. Mine was stuck in Troutdale for over a week. 🥶 The weather. I'm glad it finally made us. I hope you enjoy your box!
This was my first time ever ordering any kind of lucky bag - I was so excited!! My bag was identical to yours! I squeezed the RMS lip tube and the entire contents slurped out. Oh well! I was actually disappointed to get the DM palette bc I’m intimidated by all the color…so I will look to you for some guidance as to how to use it! Thanks for another delightful video.

I'm not a big user of blue and purple, but I'm trying to find a way to incorporate more color into my eye looks. Even if it's using something as liner. We'll see where I go with this. 🤷♀️
Nice bag! I JUST saw yesterday a video & they had the same exact situation with the Viseart palette, so something went wrong. Yay on the DM palette!! My bag was good & haven’t seen many other variations of it. Thanks for the video!
I'm glad you are enjoying the contents of your bag. This was the perfect bag for me. My kids are excited about the Verb hair oil, we'll use the skincare and SPF, and I liked all the makeup. I'll have to share the lip liner and gloss with a friend, but I know so many people who would love that. The Viseart palette seems like something they might have gotten at a discount so they could help fill the boxes.
This was my first year getting this lucky bag mine was ok but not in love I definitely liked your lucky bag more then mine lol thankfully I had no repeats but I was really good about not buying a lot of stuff because I knew I was going to get this lucky bag 😊
I'm surprised that I didn't end up with more duplicates. My kids are campaigning for me to let them have the lip products. They already got the hair oil, and will use the skincare, so I might have to give the lip stuff to a friend.

My regular should be delivered tomorrow. I like Melt and Lunar Beauty for mystery boxes. With Melt I usually wait till I see unboxings to avoid too many duplicates in the palettes. Donated a few palettes to a friend and supplied some other stuff for a giveaway. Oh and totally forgot about Sydney Grace, they are the best, without a doubt.
I haven't picked up a SG Mystery Box in years. There's usually stuff in the box/bag that I won't use. I prefer to round out my SG collection by picking exactly what I want from the brand. I haven't tried Lunar Beauty and it's been forever since I had any Melt. Maybe it's time to check them out again. Thanks so much for watching, and I hope you enjoy your regular box.

We got the exact same box this year; everybody else that got this variation got a ND highlighter instead of the Wayne Goss liner, so you're the first person I've seen that has had the same one as me. I'm also happy with this box! 🤗.
Even though I've watched a ton of these unboxings, I watched yours all the way through (instead of skipping) because I always enjoy hearing what you think about what you received each year 😊

It seems like in general the bags were not lucky. I saw a couple only with a lot of really nice and significant products. But it seems quite crappy from Beautylish to include the palettes that they printed in error, everyone is getting those. Also that RMS product was defective in many other reviews. Aaaalso, the Holyfrog sunscreen has not so good reviews
I think they might have gotten the Viseart palettes at a discount to help fill the boxes. I'm not a fan of the packaging of the RMS, and Holifrog isn't a favorite brand of mine. I'll use everything, or share what I have duplicates of with a friend. Thanks for watching today.
Every year this box stresses me out…. I don’t know which I put myself through the pressure 😂 I did purchase the XL and am happy to say that I was very happy… I got the Wayne Goss eye brush set that essentially covered the cost of the bag. & the other items weren’t shabby either…..
Ooh, I love hearing about the boxes that have the full brush sets. I got a set of Units face brushes 2 years ago, and I love them so much! Many of my Wayne Goss and Sonia G brushes are from my lucky bags. I'm so glad you got a good box! Thanks for watching.

You got the same bag as Theresa is dead and I noticed you both got the Viseart palette in that container that did not match what was inside. The weird thing is you got a purple palette and she got a more earth toned one. So strange.
After I got my box, and recorded my unboxing I started watching other Beautylish Lucky bags, and was surprised that many people got the Viseart palette with the warm exterior packaging, but the cool interior. I've had a very similar thought. I'm finally watching all the other Lucky Bag Unboxings (I didn't want to spoil it for myself) and there are several other people noticing the same thing. Perhaps they got it at a discount?
The DM Lightworks palette is the only thing I've seen ppl unbox that would make it worth it for me. I'm glad I passed bc I may not have been lucky enough to get this. I'm so glad you did! Can't wait to see a video on it from you now ❤

Great bag! This is the only mystery bag I participate in. Last year’s was my first and it was great so I went for a regular bag again this year and I’m really happy with it. My top items from this year were a Sonia G brush, Danessa Myricks groundworks and Wayne Goss blush, loving them all. And I had $20 of from a gift card 🎉
Sounds like you got some awesome stuff. I really like the Groundwork palette. I picked it up when it launched in September, and I use it all the time. I love the highlights in Wayne's palettes! They're so beautiful. Sonia G brushes are such a delight to use, and I'm grateful every year I get one!

So happy for you, especially that DM palette! I have not ever done a mystery box and am not really interested. I like to research and choose the beauty products I buy to be sure I will like and use everything, and be able to easily return if it doesn't work out. I like getting samples with orders, but I don't want to pay for products I'm not sure will work for me.
