Yay Chainsaw Man is here! I really love the cinematic approach of the animation of this series. This series was a very pleasant surprise for me with how much I liked it given how it loves to lean into the absurd lol. The mangaka of this and jjk are fans of each other's series funnily enough 😂.

A lot of ppl like to compare Chainsaw Man to JJK, but it’s not entirely accurate. Chainsaw Man is a more slow, personal character-driven story while JJK is more action-oriented and driven by its plot and ensemble cast. Comparing Chainsaw Man to JJK is like comparing JJK to Naruto. Sure, they carry similar elements that are staples to the magazine, but they all have different approaches to storytelling and have different vibes and deal with different themes. Though, I’m sure as you continue watching, you’ll start picking up lol it’s more cinematic than most anime we’re used to
