Free Art Lesson : Infuse Emotion Into your Painting with Terrilynn Dubreuil

Starting with plein air sketches and photos, we become familiar with a subject through color sketches and exercises until we can imbue our final painting with energy and emotion. Then, by changing the color scheme, we create a very different feeling from the same basic image in another painting.
In this lesson, we will show the importance of planning through preliminary sketches and exercises then applies a hint of color theory to reveal how certain color choices can affect how the viewers respond to our paintings.

Okay, there needs to be a warning in the title if it's going to be pastels, wax, crayons, etc. because they're not 'painting' as we commonly know it. There goes ten minutes for nothing!
