it sure is - do you keep them out or just if you have an infestation? i am thinking about keeping them out all the time.

I use several of them scattered throughout the house year round and they work wonders helping with fleas since we live in Texas and have very mild winters.

I forgot to mention that they make great night lights too. 😀

Oh good to know! Have you found better spots are better for them than others? Like by doors?

@@Floppycats They tell you to place them in the areas that pets hang out the most. None of mine are near doors because of where my outlets are but I imagine it would work very well near doors. I even have one under the edge of my bed and another good thing is that they catch all types of bugs. Sadly mine have also caught a baby lizard and a Gecko but you can't stop them from crawling in as well.

@@1gothickitten oh man. That’s sad about the 🦎. Can you remove with soap? We don’t have those here.

@Floppycats The lizard and Gecko had already passed but if I noticed it beforehand, I would have tried to save them.

Our cats are indoor only here in Florida. We live in a condo. 4 yrs ago, we had a flea infestation. How???!!!
    Good question.
Our only guess was that perhaps one of the neighbors' dogs had fleas and carried them into the elevator and hallway. Then they jumped on our shoes/clothing and we carried them into our condo.
I gave our cats a flea bath in a mild shampoo, which I do anyway, once a year. Next we vacuumed and steam mopped all carpet and flooring. Then, we sprayed 91% isopropyl alcohol on carpeting, baseboards and furniture. Cats were in the big bathroom for an hour until smell dissipated and dried. We did that treatment twice in a week's time. We haven't had a problem with fleas since. I don't use any flea treatments on my cats other than a flea bath once a year with a mild shampoo.
