The GM 5.3 and 6.2 have lifter failure issues that never got resolved. I would maybe look for a coyote platinum and supercharge it.

I too have a 21 powerboost. I had experienced some odd shifting and took it to the dealer. They said it was due to the battery being a bit low. New battery resolved it! Good luck.
I have a 2021 powerboost as well. The transmission needed new cluthes at 42,000 for hard shifting. I no have 48,000 miles and seems to be shifting great after the rebuild
I just had to replace the battery in my 21 F150 5.0 Lariat due to similar issues. Went with the Duralast Platinum H7 AGM. Issues were resolved that same day. Thanks for finding time for the content Dan. The work/life balance can be hard at times.

i was not a BatteriesPlus person but then i needed a new battery for the Harley and theirs turned out to be great.
I found the same when it came to replace my battery for my Harley! Definitely worth it!
My father once told me not to drop a lot of money and modify a truck that you haven’t paid for or had for a long time. You got some good products on your truck but money overspend in many cases. But hey your truck. Hope it works out for ya.
I'm glad the new trans is working well - those hard shifts I THINK are a re-train thing. Same thing can happen after a battery swap, while the computer learns how you like to drive and adjusts things accordingly.
My prior vehicle had battery under passenger seat. It lasted 9 years before accident, so I now have F150. I will look for ways to keep that thing cool in Texas.
Any plans to replace the interior battery? the one under the passenger side rear seat? I've seen some folks upgrade it with a higher capacity...

I was one of those who said in the last F150 video to keep your truck to 50k still under warranty to see if the fruits of your labor paid off. In fact, based on one of your past videos replacing the diaper bra with an aluminum one to prevent cat converter theft.

That’s common in the 10 speed. Better keep it cause it might be the best option.
Man keep that bad boy 50k miles ain't nothing I got my truck August 2021 5.0 no problems I live in Kansas City I hope my battery last longer driving to Alabama in two weeks I got 53k on my truck
Your initial experience and mod videos were actually helpful in making my decision to buy a '22 Lariat FX4. Other than Ford recalls (Yes, SMH, I know), I've had no problems (23K miles, 65% road, 35% primitive road use, no mods). I think you just got a lemon. It happens. I've come back to your channel on/off and see it grow. I suggest you just cut your losses, and start making new content with another truck . . . .
Great video as usual. I just don't understand how Ford respects (you=loyal customer) to buy an 80K product and it feels like they don't care about your experience. I traded my 2022 F150 with Tundra right after I saw your (transmission issue) videos. Thanks and best of luck.
I'm sorry to hear your F150 has given you so much grief. Knock on wood, my Bronco hasn't given me any issues.

If the F-150 behaves itself, take a hard, long look at the Honda Goldwing. In my opinion you won’t regret it! If you decide to go for it, it will last a lifetime! 👍
