It’s just incredible that the mold for the battle droids hasn’t changed. Would love some real flexible arms from Lego. I’m waiting for the next LAAT to see what mods can be pulled off.
Yeah, different droid arms are long overdue. There are a number of robot/skeleton arms that have been introduced over the past 10 years that can work in a pinch.
The BrickArms robot arms are pretty neat, though in my first hand experience they aren't extremely durable and don't maintain their clutch power nearly as well as similar LEGO clip pieces).

@@seamagician7042 ha, yup. People have been experimenting with cutting battle droid leg pieces in half and animating them for well over a decade. Here's one of the earliest examples that I was able to find: ua-cam.com/video/MMjChv54aGw/v-deo.html
All you need to do this yourself is an Xacto knife and a little bit of patience.
I am currently working with Clone Army Customs to bring a fully custom battle droid with poseable legs to the market :)

I just wanted to ask you a question that’s on my mind. Do I buy 4 of these AT-TE or do I wait for the UCS AT-TE? Because I presume the UCS AT-TE would be mini figure scale and more detailed!
@@achilleas8016 Buy 4 AT-TE's. Haven't heard a UCS AT-TE is releasing anytime soon. Once that one is released and you got these 3 AT-TE's sealed. Sell them and use that money towards the UCS AT-TE.
If you got the money. Or maybe go for the AT-TE with a cool lightning kit or make a nice Display stand for the AT-TE set.

I used the 3x3 slopes from the Clone Battle pack in red. It really pops and gives it more of a Clone Wars look rather than plain Imperial grey.

Wow, those battle Droid arms are awesome! Always wondered if lego would ever improve those designs. And just like videogame modders, leave it to the fans to come out with the solutions
funny enough, i planned to mod my atte joints when i get it, and the modification is extremely similar to yours, great minds really do think alike haha

Could you please make short video of how to change Arms without damaging the joins. How to extract the arms? How to put the New ones properly? I did That once with one of the New 501st and when i put the New new blue arms, one of them Was Kind of lose. Thanks

If I may give a suggestion: I think making a video where you describe how to create your own LEGO star wars diorama MOC would be nice.
Good mod. How would you fix the feet? They are supposed to look like versions of the AT-AT feet.
You can use a sticky tac and an antenna piece and put it on the left

Another thing which I feel like would’ve improved this set is Cody having a new mold for his jetpack. It just doesn’t feel right not giving him it, The Bad Batch figures had that problem and I feel like they should stop repeating it. Like imagine if Boba Fett had a printed jetpack instead of a mold.

Like when I bought the Speed champions 70´s Porsche 911, it came with two exhaust pieces even instructions say the car have only a one exhaust, so I put the another one at the other side, so now I have the double exhaust 911.

Shouldnt all the clones have orange shoulders? Its a thing that bugs me with all clones since 2020 the armes just look to blank and the half orange (or blue for the 501st) Arms would be a perfect solution

I have a Lego phase 1 commander Cody but the set didn’t come with an orange visor it came with a grey one
He is saying that you can add a spare visor from this set if you want to. The set comes with 4 visors and 4 antennas.
So my wife tried to buy this for me this morning. It’s not showing up on Amazon using your link or just looking for it on Amazon and on Lego still says coming soon. I just hope she wasn’t too late or it’s just not out yet
I wish Lego would make a new B1 gun arm that has the same bent as the original arm. It just looks weird that one arm is always straight while the other is always bent.
