you know once someone gains a nickname from me, they are one of my truest most loyal fans. hope no one takes offense when i call them a wrong name on purpose.
Yeah... where I put mine adds ZERO protection i've already scratched around it. It either needs to move or come off. But I do like the look. Yikes though that grit under it. 😫
I just bought the OEM "Bumperdillo" for my Golf R. It goes all the way to the edge (like a bumper protector should). The reason I got it is because I scratched the edge of the bumper a few months ago when taking something out of my trunk. It didn't really bother me at the time because it was just one scratch. Then a few weeks ago, I bought a new TV, and scratched the bumper again when removing the TV from my car. Lastly, my brother scratched it when putting his suitcase in my car. Three scratches too many. I don't really like the way the Bumperdillo looks TBH, but it's growing on me and it covers the scratches and will protect it from future scratches as well. I went with the satin-silver colored one, the chrome one was way too bright in my opinion.
@@LastHumansGarage LOL it’s bumper *dillo* hahahaha and yes, here’s a link to it on VW’s website parts.vw.com/p/Volkswagen__Golf-R/Bumperdillo-Protection-Plate/73227135/5G0061195CA7W.html
Good decision, that thing looked nasty.. By the way, maybe it's my OCD, but the rubber looks like it's not seated properly? It's a little weavy if you know what I mean
@@LastHumansGarage well they make a piece meant for the rear bumper. It extends out and over the edge too. $30 bucks but 20% off this weekend. I am going to give one a try.
Looks so much better now Mark 👍🏼
i guess it does. i dont see a huge difference, but it does look a small bit cleaner.
Hey Mark, I never get tired of your opening music !!

Looks good now, leave it alone.
hmmm
Wiith your OCD I'm surprised you don't prime your clay bar by spraying it before touching the car any particular reason for that?
the car is getting old.
@@LastHumansGarage honestly that's a good thing You're not worrying so much about it and can enjoy it

next video... coming in 1 hour..
Consider the Lamin-x clear piece!
hmmm not a bad idea. maybe a simple 2" wide roll i could use on both cars.. but then.. you always get the dirt line on the edge..

Basically what I have - when I had my front hood and bumped done in PPF, I had them do the bumper strip. Perfect protection and not noticeable.
Vinyl wrap time?
prob a clear.
That moment you realize you should've protected your bumper from the bumper protector. Weird design flaw...
lol
Virginia is for Lovers..Ok...Interesting.
LOL I use to live in Virginia before I moved to California. I have no clue why VA puts that on their license plates lol.
