Thanks so much for this video! Enjoyed watching all the interesting stops, the food, people you met. Always wondered what the Rte 66 road trip would be like. Thanks for taking us on this journey with you!
Mav, my wife and I have been watching your channel for quite a while and finally got around to subscribing today. Your show on Route 66 was quite entertaining! I didn't think you could do it in 5 days and still stop and have fun along the way (loved the zipline!), but you somehow did. Your show just keeps getting better. Two thumbs up!
I remember Route 66 when a friend and I road tripped from Racine WI to Eugene OR, sort of like this where we stopped at sites just to say we were there including, The Badlands in SD, MT. Rushmore, then once we left Eugene we went south on US 1/Pacific Coast highway through the redwoods over both the SF bridge and Oakland Bridge. Then on to LA where we visited Venice Beach and Griffith Park and on the way back we took route 66 until Joplin and no bs, my guys tranny overheated and we were stuck and standing on a corner in Winslow AZ which was not a fine site to see lol...
When I was a senior we drove to joplin from Wisconsin after the tornado to help. Seeing that sent chills up my spine. Seriously. I hope there doing well if anyone from joplin sees this I think about you guys often in the summer time.
From Joplin; you guys don't know how much you're appreciated down here. If it wasn't for everyone's help I don't know what we would have all done. Thank you all so much
Mav, you're an old soul. You're such a polite and personable person. Yoir parents raised you well. Please tell them that. I am digging your journey. Keep on truckin'! 🤠
Take the detour from Albuquerque to Santa Fe! A MUST! Go to the Plaza downtown, and the La Fonda Hotel, an old Harvey house, I worked there for 9+ years!
Man, I need to start saving up for a road trip now. Start planning it out later in the future. Really cool to watch you just travel in the states. Safe travels always.
In 2010 I took a few days off work and had a Route 66 mini vacation, went from St. Clair, MO and ended the trip a little bit into Oklahoma, couldn't go any further, it was very fun! We had to use a website to follow Route 66 as best we could, as some of it just doesn't exist anymore, like had to get on I-44 for some of it, etc. When you were in OK and MO some of that looked familiar! This was a really cool video, thanks for making it.
I did California to Virginia last month in a little under 3 days solo. Had a full load in the back so had to sleep in the drivers seat for a few hours here and there. Now you make me wanna try the trip with a proper camper setup
I used to live in Joplin, and I didn’t really care about Route 66. Now that I live far away from it I want to drive it! It was great to see it from your viewpoint!
Every time I feel like I need a good roadtrip, Mav comes through with the legitness! And i also appreciate his own appreciation of the people and history everywhere he goes
Love this trip on Route 66 you took. A couple of times we have taken part of Route 66 from CA on south to Sedona, AZ and always stop at Oatman, AZ (donkeys in the streets of this small interesting town) as well as Seligman, AZ which is the iconic Route 66 town. It has much Route 66 memorabelia large and small as well as the historic Route 66 vibe. We met barber Angel Delgadillo there who was key in having Route 66 dedicated as an historic highway.
damn we just did route 66 took me 7 days we started in Chicago , we bought maps that helped us stay on the 2 lane as much as possible 5700 mile trip for us in a seinna with a bed love it loved that bug at the teepee motel thought of u mav

Trivia on Route 66. A song called "Get Your Kicks On Route 66" about Route 66 was written by Bobby Troup. Bobby Troup who played Dr. Joe Early on the TV show Emergency back in the 70's. Bobby Troup wife Julie London was also on Emergency who played Nurse Dixie McCall.

Thanks for taking us with, Mav! I've always wanted to drive Route 66 but time hasn't allowed.
You are a fun guy!💯👍🥰
Mav you’re the man. So genuine, I love that you love people.
Was raised the right way ,,, a true gent !!
Thank you all so much
19:02 I have finally seen the day where you turn the ignition on with the right hand. This is nice to see for a change ☺️
Mav , you got to write a book sharing your experiences with a whole new demographic of fans. You are living a special life. Thanks for the grind!
"it says no skateboarding, not trucks" 🤣 that guy knows his way around the law.
Great story teller about your adventure, that is great of being single
😂
And now they will remake the sign 😂
Last spring I flew to California, bought a van and drove home to NC. I did a little route 66 but mostly the interstate for time. Still beautiful.
This is one of my favorite videos! It's actually amazing to see how empty it was for you. Keep truckin and stay safe.
Mav, you're an old soul. You're such a polite and personable person. Yoir parents raised you well. Please tell them that. I am digging your journey. Keep on truckin'! 🤠
We took trips from California to Okla back in the early 60s all on route 66 . Loved those trips.
Let’s goo so Mav has brought us all together once again.🙏🏻 keep on trucking!
You should start a spotify playlist with all of your travelin' tunes! I'm sure many of us would love to listen
Take the detour from Albuquerque to Santa Fe! A MUST! Go to the Plaza downtown, and the La Fonda Hotel, an old Harvey house, I worked there for 9+ years!
Be safe brother man keep the videos coming…. Helps me threw this depression and hard times
When its ruff thank you much
Man, I need to start saving up for a road trip now.
I don’t know what he does exactly, but Mav is definitely doing the Lords work. He made those little old ladies year, just by being curious.
If you do not know what he is doing how can he be doing anything! Your THICC.
@@mrdg1523 nothing but love. Need a hug?
@@acegood7058 Your mo other already gave me one. And a hug.
@@mrdg1523 my mom gave you one what?
@@acegood7058 She gave me nothing but love ;)
Gotta add this trip to the bucket list. Thanks for taking us along.
Im from Chicago and this is on my bucket list. Cant wait to see your trip
Mav brother, love it man!! can tell your momma raised ya right, got proper manners! always thankin people for shit thats just awesome man! spread them positive vibes!!
Not only is Mav very polite but this channel says a lot about how much fun you can have on your own, nothing wrong with hanging with people but it's nice to see how much fun someone can have just enjoying their own company. I just found this channel recently and I am so glad.
This is the ultimate compilation of Mav recording himself getting in and out of the truck... and I'm here for it haha
Been watching a ton of his videos for the past week and man one thing is for sure, Mav can freak up some food, clean plate club member for sure
This is the kind of feel-good content that makes my whole week better. Thanks Mav! :D
Just now stumbling on this video. My grandparents live in Williams! lovely little place.
I respect this dude, he goes on adventures solo. Introvert lifestyle
What an awesome video. Such good vibes

Just found your channel. Big fan already and I’ve been going back and watching your adventures. Not only do I enjoy what you do, but you have the best attitude and personality for the job.
Another few minutes of "me" time to leave the world and watch Mav on his adventures. One of the highlights of any week!
Just when I thought mavs channel couldn't get better!!! Brother what a fantastic idea to hit route 66 for some content. I'm only half way through this video but this is some good shit man. I hope you realize how special this is for your life bro. You're absolutely living it up dude and I'm more then happy to tag along. 🤟🇺🇸
Best part of traveling is stumbling across new adventures! 💗
I’m also currently living very near part of Route 66 in Springfield Missouri and so I’ve considered going west to California and then east to Chicago at separate times.
Take me with you
Mav you’re so enjoyable. You’re same age as my son and very similar personalities. Have fun driving Route 66! Such an adventure! I live in AZ so have touched the route a few times. Br safe and keep on truckin! 😁
Glad to see you spreading the MN nice everywhere you go.
You are the man Mav. I live a similar lifestyle and you are absolutely killing it out there. Stay awesome bud!
