Quick question on the pressure fermentation option…if this is installed would that allow you to close off the standard airlock arm that you would put to bubble in water. Considering unitank 2.0. Thanks! And great video
Yep exactly right, but you need to have a pressure sounding valve! (That thing on top of the tank that has bubbles coming out of that little cap) without that your pressure will just continue to build without giving you any way to control it
I have been playing with the fermzilla all rounder from kegland for a while now, it's not SS but it lets you do pressure fermenting and because it's clear it's like having an aquarium that's also useful!, I had no idea how... kinetic fermentation was!
Yeah it’s awesome right! In the lab there’s tons of different types of bioreactors for different processes and most of them have different designs of impellers, but fermentation tanks don’t need it because yeast gets so active it creates it’s own thermal paths that push and pull the liquid all around the tank (bioreactor) Long way of saying brew science is awesome!
Pretty sure this is quite similar to the one we use www.ebay.com.au/itm/284533353178?chn=ps&_ul=AU&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-139619-5960-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=284533353178&targetid=1280498558850&device=m&mktype=pla&googleloc=9072215&poi=&campaignid=9767740946&mkgroupid=120554575097&rlsatarget=pla-1280498558850&abcId=578876&merchantid=664028190&gbraid=0AAAAAD97CxT70pP-JSxAAyYfWOSeoZBnF&gclid=Cj0KCQjw2cWgBhDYARIsALggUhpQGuW9019F0Xldc_9aBqa-3wRkgj8I400wLKtsE1dW5C5FHbJuC48aArGcEALw_wcB

Do you have a link to the diaphragm valve?

Nice, but why this over Spike Conical??
Honestly nothing against spike, it’s essentially the same as Ss Brewtechs one, for us it was just easier to get this one at the time in australia
I miss the jacketed cooling on the 7 and 14 gallon fermenters.
Sadly No Spike or BrewBuilt dealers in EU. They have nice jacketed fermenters.
Yeah totally agree, I would wayyyy prefer to have this tank be jacketed, the coil can be a bit of a pain to clean
Spike does not offer a jacketed conical. The CF conical fermenters are all non-jacketed.
