Greg can smoke the neck off a guitar ! That Hammond organ , delivers the sounds that really bring things together . Each one are fantastic ! Greg and his guitar are music 🎶 just standing there !
I just saw him and his band this last week on the Norwegian pearl cruise ship. It was the Joe Bonamassa keeping the blues alive Cruise. A dozen world class rocky blues bands in one venue. We had a blast. And Greg opened up with; Cuz. We ended as lovers. He does have some of the quirks in his playing like Jeff Beck. Not too many people on this planet can say that… now that we lost Jeff. 😢
A BIG THANK YOU to everybody involved in producing and sharing this video. Having free access to this kind of content makes me feel guilty. What a great trio!
The Wiscansin Telesquatch never ceases to amaze!!! There are those who may wonder, but I for one absolutely continue to believe with sincere sincerity... The Great Gargantuan Gregory Kochery is a Game Changing, History making Telecaster Blaster. His chops past, present and future will inspire countless generations much like D. Gatton, J. Burton, C. White, B. Mason, and more. Mark my words!!! 👍👑🎸
And if you listen closely late at night in the Wisconsin woods you can hear the majestic mating call of the Mansquatch CAN YOU DIG IT?!! FELLAS! FELLAS! FELLAS! LET'S GO FLYYYEEE A KIYYYTTEE!!!!!!
I am impressed even more with Greg's playing than I was when he did his reviews but this band is really good! And as always Greg's humor is always fun. Nice work Guys!
With B-Bender Telehassler in hand, I once led a strangely similar 3 man band all across the Florida Emerald Coast in the early 2000's. Some of the most fun, and most magical music moments I was blessed to be a part of... Organ Trios ROCK!
The sheer amount of gristle on the bone is directionally proportional to the the meat and girth that is substantiated by the the pure incendiary musicianship that is this trio. Think about that. And then look into it. Food for thought.
GREG KOCH fancy and tricky playing - always a surprise coming from his experienced hands and fingers - special sound and unique interpretation too ... small band - but - A GREAT HAPPENING here on stage! ... SALUT & CHEERS from Austria!👌👍💪🎸🏆🍺
Greg just is an awesome guitarist (resp. musician, which even for brilliant guitar players as such is not a given thing). If you - like me - used to be severely impressed by the guitaristic morsels Greg threw at you in the course of clinics, endorser workshops or gear demos it turns out that you had seen and heard just a fraction of his abilities and those bits were really just the tip(s) of several icebergs... Obviously he can play gigs of more than 2 hours and never once run out of ideas - severely impressive!
Well said! I might just go out on a bigger ledge, you know guitar playing is so subjective, but Mr Koch just might be Thee best guitar player as far as "versatility" hitting all music genre's with expertise that is alive right now. Of course that is my opinion but I have been watching and listening with a discerning ear to his skills on many occasions and situations and I have come to that conclusion , I am talking about guitar skills I'm not talking about guitar players that created Original songs that have lasted the test of time . That is a completely different discussion of guitar skills.

I don't understand why Greg Koch isn't as famous in the eye of the public as Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Clapton, and Santana 🤷 Easily one of the best guitar players of our time.
Toby Marshall on the B3 plays the bass lines left handed on a separate keyboard. I played guitar nearly 5 yrs in an "organ trio". I LOVED IT. One less flaky musician to deal with. Lolol
Lots of music coming out here. Greg, what an outstanding talent.

Saw them last month in AZ, so much fun. Greg is a monster and Dylan and Toby have the serious groove!
I cannot wait to see these guys in February. Can’t remember being this excited to see a show.
This perfect trio i saw in Café de Noot in Hoogland (NL)….my old favorit music club
Awesome capture, much appreciated!

Fantastic! This one is going on repeat for awhile.
Unbelievably awesome. I can't sit still. How can a trio sound so amazing???
I love this kind of trio where the keyboard player plays bass with his/her feet
So excited for their San Diego show!
Love that Music
A little sunshine for my day😂
Always awsome.
Been playing guitar 52 years and I quit. Unbelievable player.

Yep
Someone else approached...
Greg - he is a master guitar player in his own way and darn good at it!
in EVERY way

I believe Toby is left handing all or most of the bass lines

Larry Carlton and Travis Carlton

they all sing and tell stories. That helps gender-balance the following. Danny Gatton never got the fame we male guitgeeks testify.
Because he could smoke all of them except maybey Beck......
I'd love to see Marcus King sit in with these guys.
What’s the tune after Welchz Grape?
Answered my own question - Rex Charmer
Teleblasters like myself hold Danny Gatton near and dear to their hearts, but dare I say... WHO'S THE HUMBLER NOW???
He manages to "next level" some Roy Buchanan too and i don't say that lightly...
Just saw them in Cambridge ma they were tighter from touring I still think they need a funky bass player just my opinion
c'mon audience..........liven up ! these guys are killin' it ! a little cheering won't hurt ya. wb
Sounds great Greg? But what's up with the amp selection here?
No Koch and Marshall anywhere to be seen!
What is the dealio?
Maybe the house provided the backline.
is there a setlist?
Snare drum overrides in a lot of the softer songs.
OK, where's the bass player?
Toby Marshall on the B3 plays the bass lines left handed on a separate keyboard. I played guitar nearly 5 yrs in an "organ trio". I LOVED IT. One less flaky musician to deal with. Lolol
Are the basslines done with footpedals (organ) or some sequenser?
I think the bass line is played by the left hand on the keyboard.
@@eleondaniel5879 More likely the bass pedals under the players feet.
Both, but mostly left hand.
@@octocoptermusic Yes, it is. So, i think the bass line has more punch !!
I noticed at around 7 minutes bass being played with the pedals
Next time put a mic before Matt’s Tworock!
He used house Amps for this show as seen in the video....
Go Christ King!
