Finally, the last zone of War Within is able to be explored and Azj-Kahet does NOT disappoint. A different zone than the wide-open and brightly lit Hallowfall, Azj-Kahet has it's own beauty under a sky illuminated by the void! With this being the final zone introduced into the Alpha, it looks as though we're going out on a high!

Oh boy did I misread this one....
This zone looks like a mix between Maldraxxus, Nazjatar and Drustvar, it's quite weird
I'm waiting for more drust inspired sets, like dark druids and decayed forest armors are really cool
Add in a splash of Suramar in there with the city and you're not far off!
I thought Hallowfall looked large but this dwarfs that..
This is definitely wider by a fairly large margin!
We rarely see the entire zone occupied by the enemy. Might be one of the best zones ever
It's very reminiscent of Suramar in that regard. Breaking into and hiding in an enemy city.

It's deliberately more enclosed and darker than Hallowfall I think. Really gives you the idea you're somewhere not very welcoming

There are chasms in the city, you can see them in the video just about. Got to be careful as there's insta-kill walls around some of the areas.
@@Kexman yeah kinda, i envisioned it to be more like a spiderweb hanging over a dark abyss but i guess they wanted to have the area under the city playable as well
@@ultravioletcatastrophe As it stands, the "Upper class" area of the city does just that. It hangs above.

Azjol-Nerub but modern version
If you continue to make videos like this, which I think you should, then I would suggest that you do a practice flyover right before filming. For one doing that would help you plan your Route and hence improve your camera-work, and for two doing so would go ahead and load all the Textures and Models into VRAM/RAM which would drastically reduce the Hitching or FPS-Drops you were experiencing.
If you had other Apps like Chrome open while filming, closing those would help with the Loading-Lag too since that mostly occurs when Game-Assets suddenly need to be Cached. Closing other Apps will free up Memory and hence free up Cache-space so that more Assets can be pre-Loaded.
Turning down Particle Density in the WoW Graphics Settings will help a lot with the general FPS-Drops too. All those little specs you see floating in the air absolutely murder your FPS unless you have like a 3090 or 4090 GPU, which you clearly don't.
I saw on wowhead that there is some Carriage-Ride that will give you a tour of the Zone. I think your next video should just be of you riding that Carriage. It would be the easiest Content ever to film since you could literally just AFK with OBS running.

Really mixed feelings. It does look gorgeous but I already feel claustrophobically trapped in a glorified dark cave just by looking at this footage.
Yeah, I can get that for sure. I will say that you don't seem to spend too much time in this zone for the levelling.

Oh, you need to tweak your OBS settings too. I think some of the Frame-Drops in the footage were caused by OBS not having enough Bitrate to work with.
I don't remember what OBS setting changes it, but you can choose to have OBS either Drop Frames or Drop the the quality of each Frame. In general setting it to just pixelate the Frames a bit is far less jarring, and far more watchable, than having the footage stutter hard for a second.
I want to say it was changing the Key Frame Intervals or B-Frames that helped the most, but I can't remember.
Dialing in OBS so that the footage looks good took A LOT of research and trial & error, but my footage went from garbage quality to being nearly perfect-looking even in 4k, and all I did was change a bunch of OBS settings.
FYI Twitch can handle exactly 7500 Bitrate, I suggest you set OBS to use that much if you want to have one set of settings for everything, but for UA-cam Uploads something more like 10,000 to 30,000 Bitrate will have your footage looking clean & crisp.
Oh, oh, and lowering your SDR White Balance Nits in the advanced settings will help to brighten up dark footage. It caps out at 100 Nits at the lowest, and that amount has worked best for me. If you want to see how much difference just that setting makes then look at my videos. The first one of the Heroic Raid was filmed at ~200 SDR Nits, while the other 2 Test videos were filmed at 100 Nits SDR.

I have a sneaky suspicion we're going to get a Goblin raid/dungeon in one of the future patches. They seem to be encroaching pretty hard.
So like those are the roots of Elun'ahir the very first world tree we got sniplets of about in DF right.. growing right into pools of Old God blood.
I guess we know what the fuck N'Zoth was talking about at the end of the main 10.0 questline now.
That seems to be the popular theory. I imagine we'll know more from the max-level quest lines as there's still 5 campaign chapters locked
