- These are all of the interactions from the new Junkenstein Wrath of the bride event. I also added some of the new Reinhardt narration lines, so the video could flow better too.

Due to a couple of requests I decided to add the things which didn't make the cut (such as the Radio and the Defeat Voice Line) into this new unlisted video:

I love how Junker Queen was genuinely offended when Kiriko told her she dies of old age lol.
It is a fun little trope, that’s for sure. The idea of someone who joins every battle because they were told they would die of old age rather than in glorious battle.
I know there’s probably a trope name for it, but I’ll just say Olaf from League of Legends.
@@mas8705 idk, but Valhalla is the best answer I can give. Vikings have a belief that dying of old age isn't a good thing since you won't join Odin's Halls to battle against Ragnarok.
@@mas8705 I just watched Neceuit’s video on an interaction between Gwen and Olaf. When I heard this line that was the first thing I thought about.

I really love Junkerqueen in this event. She is so funny. Literally every one of her lines is gold. I love when she sounds so indignant about dying peacefully from old age.
The comic relief of the story.
The only thing I don’t like about her lines, is her pronunciation of “castle”. Australians don’t pronounce it like that.

Meanwhile you have Reinhardt’s VA, an American, pronouncing the word castle how a German person normally would

@@Trinity0809 For real tho, I’ve yet to see a performance of his that wasn’t at the very least really good. From Overwatch, to DOOM, to Spider-Man, he just kills it every time.
I don't know if it's just me, but it's kinda nice to see Ashe have some more friendly interactions

It's definitely a nice change of pace, considering her two linked characters (Cree and Echo) are characters she loathes.
I'm shocked Reinhardt hasn't gotten a Lord of Adlersbrunn skin yet. xD

im shocked brigitte didnt get to be one of the heroines. honestly i kinda wanted her to have being the lords daughter/heir/apprentice trying to save him or even if rein got to be playable he himself fights alongisde her to retake his castle.
I'm surprised he has 2 Halloween skins and there wasn't an alternative ending where we fight him if we let the bride pull the switches. I was kinda hoping there would be.

In Junken lore those are their names, Hanzo and Genji dont actually exist they are used to visualize The Archer and The Swordsman who just so happen to have a similar story
I like to imagine that the Wrath of the Bride game mode is a homebrewed D&D one-shot run by Rein for the ladies. Junker Queen's a barbarian, Ashe is a warlock, Kiriko's a cleric/rogue, and Sojourn is a homebrewed ranger. The banter between them certainly sounds like something I'd hear at a table.
Now I need a spinoff of overwatch thats simply a full dnd campaign through a game campaign, you can play a bunch of different heroes, customize em, itd be beautiful

Biologically, no. The brothers from training together growing up most likely view her as a "cute, little niece figure". Maybe uncle figures for her (siblings at best based on perspective). I mean, why else would (the fortune teller) look for those two?

It’s a shame this event has been overshadowed by the monetisation controversy, because the actual PVE gamemode itself is nothing short of stellar. It feels more in line with Archives than Halloween Terror, and that’s only a good thing.
Imo, just getting unlucky in the boss fights is what ruins it. Like randomly echo may just one shot me if I'm not JQ. Speaking of her, she is a close quarters character who has a ability to reel in enemies that explode. the Winston fight is the worst imo because the fight is so enclosed and the barriers take up so much space. Along with the shock tires it becomes a festival of getting one shot or being tickled slowly by the Winston's. the sym boss is mid with the Winston's not feeling so oppressive and probably the second best with the Moira fight. The Moira fight is also mid not adding too much but when she gets a ult and your movement abilities are on cool down with sojourn or Ashe it's a bit hard to run away from what I have seen in failed attempts with Moira. Sombra fight is the best. Only complaint is that it's crammed. Plus overall barely any replayability it got really boring and woudlve done better if it wasn't near identical to the map layout normally.

There's a hidden interaction inside the castle. When grabbing the throne room keys, there's painting of a Lab, inside the lab.
It will bark when you say "Hello" to them, and growl when you "Need healing".

the interactions between the 4 ladies are so hilarious. I hope they come up with more voice lines interactions between them.

Wrath of the Bride was such a breath of fresh air from Junkenstein's revenge, my favorite part being the nightmare sequence.

Love what they've done with this year's Halloween event. The story, the voicelines and gameplay, must be giving us a taste of what's the come when PVE story mode comes out.

I got jumpscared the first time I played. Although I'm quite used to being jumpscared considering how much Backrooms footage I've seen...

Probably fair to say we more or less got a taste of what the PvE will be like, and I’m looking forward to it. Just hope the dialogue is just as good as it has been (and that we get to enjoy more fun little “what if’s” in the near future).

Even though this is just a side, non-canon mode, I will take it as canon that Sombra secretly has a crush on Junkrat

They NAILED this mode! So many fun secrets and cute interactions to be found in a fresh and challenging experience! If THIS is what we can expect from PVE next year, then Overwatch 2 has a bright future for sure! Great video btw

I’m surprised blizzard isn’t just charging you for the option at this point.
Honestly would be more interesting. Imagine a group like Sigma, Bastion, Cassidy and Torbjorn. Guys would be mowing down everyone.
I don't like Junker Queen and Kiriko in this event at all not because of the characters themself but the enemy. Zomnic that blow up when get close in a tigh space is not fun to deal with. Make tanking a lot harder and Kiriko heal is ugh... to low to my liking for this event.
@@arsenal4739 no healer would be quite the challenge. Swap cass for Bap and you might have the ideal comp though.
@@Grizzy6122 yeah ik that Bap is good cuz he is an actual healer. Only reason I suggested those 4 was cause Cassidy can stun, Torbjorn got his turret + his ultimate would make great into wiping bosses health, Bastion cause its friggin Bastion and Sigma cause they would have a tank, but this is a biased choice of mine also since he is one of my favorite tanks in the game. He can also self heal but eh that wouldn't do much. I know it wouldn't fully work cause they have no healer. Though if I had to choose a healer, idfk maybe Moira cause she's crazy asf imo.
My favorite voice line is Ashe’s ultimate;
“Get in there Beelze-B.O.B!”
A really good event this was however, The scariest part of this event was the T-posing soldier 76 in the menu
I loved this so much and have me so hyped for the other events. I love the idea this is just the five of them playing dnd one shot with sombra as the dm. Junker is the over dramatic one and is the best blessing to this event.

I quite liked this event and it was an entertaining lot of interactions overall! Sadly these interactions did not invest me as much as the Archive events since this is just a retelling of a fictional legend while the Archive missions were canon and told me more about the lore and real characters. But at the very least, I did get a few chuckles out of their conversions!
JQ is like a long distant relative of Ashe.

When I played this event I quickly realized that I didn’t have any experience as any of the heroes I could choose from

Something about a telepathic ghostly voice in ur head with a Mexican accent is so funny to me 😂😂
I wish they did this kind of mission with other characters aswell so you can sort of mix and match who you play as and there's multiple voicelines between all different characters
My question is, did the Outlaw play any part in Junkenstein's demise? Canonically it was the Soldier, Alchemist, Archer and -Gunslinger- Oddity that stopped him, but the fact that she's been through this town before and was a playable hero back then leads me to believe that perhaps she may have been around canonically back when Junkenstein was still alive.
The original 4 killed Junkenstein the first time, then the Witch came back and revived him, his monster, the zomnics and brought the Summoner as a new ally, creating the Junkenstein version we can play today
A comic states that The Viking, The Countess, The Monk and The Swordsman fought in this second battle
The new characters added later, like The Outlaw, all exist in this fantasy world told bu Rein. My best guess is that since they are tales they can have different variations as they are passes between people as folklore

There is a fan made mode in the workshop where you play as the villains: The Reaper, Junkenstein's Monster, Dr Junkenstein and The Witch of the Wilds
Its narrated by Sombra and has some really cool things to it. The Summoner and The Reaper are exes, The Witch flirts with The Banshee, The Gunslinger can't decide on a name for himself, its great!

Am I the only one who finds Kiriko's lines really forced? She seems so different from her cinematic. It's like their trying to get her to seem really cool by being snarky and it just doesn't really work. I think it's the vocal direction and the lines.

@@Rosequartz95 I think the same. I feel they were trying to get her to appeal to everyone but in doing so her character comes across very inconsistent. I'm assuming as well that the writers for the shorts may be different from the in game dialogue team too

an OC and not an actual OW character.
You can definitely feel Blizzard has new writers on their block.
