Ali made a DPL penalty at 31:02 where he attached 4 psychic energy with psychic embrace to a 80 hp kirlia and only applied 60 damage. There was nowhere else for this psychic energy to go, so this is an illegal move. This would have made it easy to get the game winning knock on my side, or if there was no DPL, I could have knocked whichever raging bolt (with Boss's if needed) that had more energy still attached, leaving me in a winnable position.
