Yes it is possible for multiple decks to run a Nemesis Corridor engine to end on Colossus. However, the combo usually takes up multiple resources and Colossus loses to handtraps like Nib, Veiler, Imperm, Mourner, etc. So hopefully it won't be a problem.
I hate that baronne had to be banned. Like I understand it and it's reasonable, but I wish decks like swordsoul would get new archetype locked/specific cards to accommodate for the ban instead of just more floodgates
@@AshGodfrost Chaofeng can help you play around Nib or at the very least bait it with Tenyi then go to your Swordsoul plays. Protos is horrible for the game, and personally I believe not in Swordsoul but Banshee instead if something ever breaks it. Swordsoul is hard to support, almost nothing was left alive in lore after the mediocre lvl8 Longhuan and Spell. Shame because without Protos and Imperial it was arguably the most fair tier 1 deck of all time. Personally I would prefer a tuner main deck extender/starter (like Ecclesia) that helps with Moye Veiler pass instead of an extra deck synchro 8/10/12 since they already have good tools but are fragile.
I know everyone is doom posting about Colossus and Protos but I don't see them doing anything in the forseeable future. No decks can really facilitate them outside of Thunder Dragons and Sword Soul.
If they brought back Colossus, they should've banned that Nemeses that enables it to be generic. Any deck that bannishes has a Colossus, and it is searchable.
If we’re lucky this may be a sign Konami is finally listening, and the Megatins list is a slaughter list and card design going forward is severely limited so we don’t end up with Tier 0 Decks ever again.

The banlist would be fine if konami wasn't wasting time and ressources oversupporting the same archetype every damn pack (brainded). How will they release support for other archetypes if they continue that philosophy?

I mean Colossus is literally a win more card in any deck that is playing it. If something like Mannadium is getting to Colossus they already full combo'ed and you probably lost anyway.

Protos in a best of 3 or a big tournament where you can be scouted is also toxic, even preventing you from playing a board breaker approach instead of handtraps (it was becoming increasingly popular like "power spell snakes") We removed Summon Limit and Anti Spell from the game (a huge improvement imo), only to get back 2 "combo floodgates" that if they can potentially define the future meta, decks will be crafted specifically around them to get them every game on the board (I'm saying they have the potential not that they will reach it)
@@babrad Also love how Konami banned generic endboard monsters that were more affordable for 6 months with Appo and Accesscode likely getting the axe after the next banlist once they more accesible. "The Yugipoors have had it easy for too long" and "generic endboard pieces are the real problem, play your deck's(usually dogwater or nonexistent) in-archetype boss monster instead of these".
@@otterfire4712it changes the playstile a lot, Baronne was used as extension and endboard, we used it to pop Double Iris, it's playable but it's weird, people are talking about running the Ptolomeios Infinity package and i suggested Dawn Dragster, overall its still sorta not really in a good spot, overall it isnt super consistent. And like the game still has 4 copies of generic Anti-Spell, and 3 of those copies are searchable in the Tier 0 deck so...

@@otterfire4712 I play other decks too. I went 2-2 my last locals and didn't enjoy the games I lost, or won. The game just isn't as good as other games available. Now that my best deck is unplayable, I'm out for sure. I sooner spend my money on the game I enjoy more. The salt in the wound is barone and savage were banned only after they became affordable. Super shitty buissness practice, theres absolutely no defending it.

Fantastic list, one of the best in a long time Baronne and Savage hits are beautiful to see, really just wish Apo was on there too but maybe next list. Linkuriboh is is cool because again generic links that only serve to homogenize the extra or skirt around restrictions can get out of here(plus is a minor snake eye hit). Summon limit being gone is great and anti-spell to 1 with all the other flood gates basically makes them all unplayable anyway so im still happy. Protos I see more as a board breaker than a flood gate and as a flood gate its one of the least toxic but still might not be great, we'll see(also bonus in being especially good against snake eye and especially hard to play in snake eye). For striker, every single time they have gotten any cards for the last 3 years people have talked about it becoming an engine and it has never happened once in any sort of good or meaningful way and its not going to change now. Biggest miss was Shifter but otherwise pretty clean

I'm just thinking Summon Limit should have stayed at three until the second banlist that slaughters Fire decks. As is, they just got rid of one of their better answers, AND with the pure losing the synchro focus, it seems the Fire King version may get more popular, meaning Nib is going to lose a lot of value.

For Colossus, anything that can make two 4s can also make it. Infernal Flame Banshee adds Flag, Flag adds Corridor.

Branded get support because they're a lore deck. They have a plotline they follow that I think is currently on hiatus for the time being.
