Thanks for the tour, we are in the process of putting the finishing touches on our trailer and power rig, we have also chosen the have enough Solar to be self sufficient.. liked some of your changes definitely will be incorporating them into our trailer.. stay safe happy trails..
Yay!!! Love this outside tour and we just laughed out loud when we saw our rig creep by. So fun to have a cameo in your video!! We've done a few of these outside upgrades and there were a few we will reach out about! Thanks for sharing. Great video! Love it! Alicia, Pleshette & Charlie #milehighbeach
Thanks! We absolutely love our rig and floor plan! It works so well for us as fulltimers that work remotely. We’ve done so many more mods since this that I feel like we need to do a new video inside & out. LOL
First saw you guys on Phil and Stacey's (You, Me, and the RV) UA-cam channel when Phil was upgrading his electrical. I really appreciate you all. We are waiting on our 2022 GD Momentum 376THS, looking like October for a delivery. Thank you for the walk around, you've given me some great ideas. We are scheduled to have solar and battery upgrades done in February with Mike & Leanna (The Dry Campers). Can you tell how excited we are to go full-time?? LOL 😆
Great video tour Lance and Flo. I'd love a link for your quick disconnects for the plumbing. I have some on my hose bibs at home that I would not trust with our Solitude. A stupid suggestion is stick on level indicators near the bay with the auto-leveling controller. The Lippert system sometimes isn't good enough side-to-side and our bedroom door will want to close itself. I can use the stick-on level indicator to manually get the adjustment right (my side-to-side one is in the wet bay).
Here ya go! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T18NPPM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 We actually keep a level in the Nautilus bay to double check the "auto-leveling". It's typically spot-on but...
Appears y’all have put a Lot of time and effort into your RV / home. Nice. We followed your advice on the refrigerator outside cooling fans. In fact just finished the job this week, and have seen the benefit. Could you please share the details on the main door hinges? Thanks for your assistance.

Absolutely THRILLED with it and Grand Design has been a pleasure to deal with. At this point in our lives, working remotely, this rig is perfect for us! The small garage is just what we need and allows so much more interior living space compared to the same size rig with a full size garage.
Thank you for the tour. You have some awesome upgrades! This model is the one we’ve decided on for full time living in 2022. I prefer the older model vs new because of some changes GD made to the new models. I have a question I’m hoping you can answer regarding the garage. I have a can am spyder. The front wheel base is 62 inches, GD website shows dimensions of 63x117. Is that accurate for the 2019 model also? We only have one inch to spare so I have to make sure it will fit if we buy a used model. Thank you.
I can tell you that I know it will fit, as I’ve seen many, including one a few sites away right now. The frame at the entrance opening is 62.5” but inside is 63. It’s definitely tight but will fit. The part that bumps out, above, is 54” wide from the right side. Hope this helps.
Thanks! We don’t have the rear bathroom but we use it to combine the grays. Same difference… I know others that have done it for the 2 black tanks to get more storage for boondocking.
I personally wouldn’t. Definitely dually territory and we even had to upgrade from our 3500 dually to a 5500. HOST even says no less than a 1 ton dually.
That may be the case, I’m not a GD specialist. I do know the Solitudes also come with the MORryde rubber pin box. I didn’t realize it was only the Momentum’s with the TH distinction.

Thanks! It was surely a great home. We’ve since downsized to a truck camper.
Excellent
Miss that rig! She was a beaut!
Great video guys! Those upgrades are amazing. Thanks for taking the time. 👍
Wonderful job on the solar Lance!! Exactly what I have in mind if I decide on a fifth wheel.

So are you happy with this 5th wheel... we're actually looking at these for us. Any issues you're not happy with?

@@WheelinwiththeWendes good deal... forgot to ask, how deep was the garage. I have a big fishing kayak (11.5') I have to figure out.
Can you provide info about your 7’ a frame ladder. The one you store in the tube.

@@WheelinwiththeWendes yes thank you so much!!
Wow super clean. Very nice. Did you guys merge the two sewer lines? We have a 349 and are thinking about it. What are your thoughts
Thanks! We don’t have the rear bathroom but we use it to combine the grays. Same difference… I know others that have done it for the 2 black tanks to get more storage for boondocking.
I wonder if I could pull this with my 2019 Ram 3500 HO/Aisin Transmission/Single Rear Wheel?
I personally wouldn’t. Definitely dually territory and we even had to upgrade from our 3500 dually to a 5500. HOST even says no less than a 1 ton dually.
Looking good.
Did you have a roof mounted cellular antenna? If so, where?
Yes, we had the Poynting 7in1 mounted just behind the front cap.
@@WheelinwiththeWendes Thanks! I ended going in pantry with mine, as the cap/cabinet issue scared me :-). Thanks for always responding!!
@@brucehale6151 You’re welcome. I mounted mine there for optimum reception. It really sealed well.
Pin box is only on the TH models
Not sure what you mean, any of the 5th wheels have a pin box, toy hauler or otherwise.
Only momentum fifth wheels with the upgraded pin box are the ones that have TH in there designation. My 2022 351ms did not come with ir.
That may be the case, I’m not a GD specialist. I do know the Solitudes also come with the MORryde rubber pin box. I didn’t realize it was only the Momentum’s with the TH distinction.

Does your MiniMax fit in one of the passthroughs?
Yes, I keep it in the front pass-thru. Fits easily and it the lowest one. That BGE mini-max is not on the mini side of weight. LOL
