This is what I recommend. If you have an airport that Frontier flies out of, buy your tickets at the airport. Find out when their flights happen, and show up 2 and a half hours before. There should be representatives at the desk at this time. When you buy the tickets at the airport, they waive the Carrier Interface Charge, which is usually the bulk of your fare. You are still on the hook for taxes (Uncle Sam always want his cut after all). But you can save $23 per person, per way! That means if you are doing a round-trip with 3 people, you could save ($23 x 3) x 2 = $138! I'm flying to Orlando tomorrow, and coming back on Sunday. I only paid $41.96 for the roundtrip, and I booked a couple months in advance. If you do the math, you get the same benefits of the pass, but only pay for what you consume. With the pass, you MUST fly a lot to make it worth it.
I met the CEO at event in Dallas and it's now right behind Atlanta and Las Vegas and he said he wants to make it number 3 behind Orlando in the next few years. He is from Texas as well and was a really nice guy.
