Sure make that look easy. I have to fight 10-20 East Texas winds from the south with the the ramp facing due west, creates a wonderful challenge on Lake Palestine. I'm a new boat owner, have launched/loaded 4 times with out incident, but always a white knuckle ride tying up to the dock after launch. Heart stopper is slotting it back onto the trailer with nice side wind. Going to try some some rope launching techniques. Great video, thank you.
You're lucky to have the 250 pro xs on the back to back it off the trailer. Unfortunately my grandfather passed away a few months ago so now I am fishing on my own mostly. I have a 2000 bass tracker with a 40hp mercury. It is difficult to get the trailer far enough in the water for it without it floating off. But if it is barely too shallow I don't have enough hp to get it off
Another thing that most people do wrong when maneuvering a trailer is having both hands on the wheel if you put one hand at the 12:00 position the boat or trailer as it were, will go the direction of your hand making it easier
... He stated he knows his boat and that ramp and that not all boats are the same. My bay boat is the same way except I have a safety chain. The Triton 240 LTS stays on the bunks on the ramps I use. On new steep ramps I have not used before, I will always take caution and keep the strap secure if I feel the need arises. .
for my boat, I unhook the safety chain and loosen the winch strap. I don't undo the winch strap until the boat is running. If it won't start, I probably have to reload it. An alternative is to run a line from the boat to the tow vehicle. It shouldn't be tight, But it saves you from swimming to get to your boat.
I totally disagree with unhooking the front ratchet cable....There is absolutely no reason to even flirt with the disaster of the boat sliding off the trailer. A number of things could happen backing down the ramp which could cause a sudden stop which, in turn, could definitely cause the boat to slide of the trailer. It only takes a brief second to unhook the ratchet cable when the boat is at water's edge.
Don’t care for your way of driving the boat off the trailer it is so lazy and you’re digging a hole in the mud for other peoples trailers to get stuck in
The absolute best launching video. Thank you!
Best boat launch instruction on you tube
Thanks Mark. Now we need one showing how to put the boat back on the trailer.

This might work better for you in those situations where you need more control

Securing the boat back on trailor would be great and as usual a good video helping many
Thanks for the tips and that’s a beautiful boat.
Great video. Thank you so much.
You should put a line on any boat in case it slides off or you are going swimming
I know from experience
Nothing wrong with swimming. You don’t want to get wet - stay off the lake.
@@rainysunday6186 whatever dude, enjoy
@@rainysunday6186 boats are for the purpose of NOT getting wet. if i wanted to get wet, i wouldn't be in a boat.
Great video!

this boat looks like a space shuttle ... do you have a speed test for this package?
I never seen any boat ramp with dock along the ramp like this video in Oklahoma reservoirs.
This video is wicked
Nice boat!
You turn the steering go right the boat going left ?
Is there a problem of shifting in reverse gear when the engine is in fast idle since it hasn’t warmed up yet?
And that's how it's done boys 🤠

Thought it is the 6 o clock position
No safety chain on the front? I would never unhook the winch and safety chain that far up the ramp. Get that boat about halfway into the water first.

Wish they all had cleats in the center of the boat on the driver and passenger side like yours does.
Money!
Most ramps in my area have no dock
Your area sux
You must live in Texas a lot of ramps don’t have docks think it due to lake levels fluctuate a lot at least in central/east Texas
