Did I miss something in your video? Isn't there a check valve that has a spring and ball bearing? My SRX doesn't seem to be pumping oil up to the upper tank anymore. Does that mean the check valve is bad, or the oil pump?
Hi, the check valve is inside the clutch cover. To prime the pump, open this cover, and turn pump gear/engine until oil flows, then close clutch cover😉
Do you know if the oil pump part numbers will fit a 1VJ? I f they are for the earlier models, do you know how to go about finding the parts I need? Thank you very much.....

my pump is 5Y1 1VJ but i can't find anything about 6mm pressure feed, can you help me with part number or info.
Sorry, I don't think that part is available. You will have to get a new pump.
