LIVING AS THE LIGHT YOU ARE…

What does it mean to live as the one you were created to be? Well, for me it means learning to listen, and respond to the gentle, quiet voice of Divine Love whispering to me in the deepest parts of my heart. And learning to listen to my heart can be a challenge in this noisy world that has so many other voices telling me how to think and believe and behave and live. And those voices are everywhere...in politics, in social media, in business, in entertainment, in higher education, in the laws, in families and friends, and in the religious world.
In this video I share one of the ways I am learning to discern that loving voice of God in my own life. I share some of the beautiful "portals" that usher me into the a deeper awareness of God's abiding presence in my life. I share the fears and anxieties that for years hindered me from experiencing this depth of Love and Peace. And I invite you to listen.....not externally but internally to the quiet voice calling you out of the illusion of life into the Reality of who you are in this Love and empower you to live guided by and held in this unshakable Love.
I have known a lot of people whose light is "stifled" under a basket of fear. I used to be one of those people....and if I am not mindful, I can easily be pulled back into that fear. The Pharisees in the Bible were not "bad" people. I believe they were fearful people. And that fear blinded them, prevented them from seeing the Living Word standing right before them, inviting them to a life of grace, peace, joy and love like they had never known before. But it would involve letting go of their tightly held beliefs of who they thought they were and who they thought God was.
So, anyway.....this video started out as just a chat...and morphed into a deeper sharing of my own experience....an experience that is by no means finished. It is an experience of ever deepening love and grace and courage and discovery of the soul my God knows me to be and stepping into the fullness of that life, here and now......and for all eternity.
Be curious....explore....find the unique way the Creator of All calls your name, and the unique way that your soul connects with this Divine Love that knows you, loves you, empowers you and shines through you. Remove the basket covering your light.....whatever that basket may be. Let your light so shine before others that they will be drawn to that One Light and Love and experience in their own hearts in a way that brings healing, grace, forgiveness, joy and peace to them and to the world.
May the Christ in me touch the Christ in you....and may we all shine together in the unique ways we were created to shine!
