Here is a new video of our Qualio IQ speakers in my new 30m^2 UA-cam dedicated studio. There are still plenty of things to do, but I am very happy with the results.

And is the Kinki Studio EX-M1+ amplifier suitable for these speakers?
What is the recommended placing in the 6x4m room with speakers on the long side?
The amp is Marantz PM11S3, 2x100 at 8 and 2x200 at 4 Ohm.
The DAC is built in on Marantz SA11S3.
The speaker cables and XLR interconnect are solid core from Acoustic Revive with no soldering.
Currently use Tannoy DC8 standmount.
Thank you for sharing your system. You can place the IQ anywhere in your room, the more you will move them forward the better the holography will be and I'd say minimum distance from the back wall to be around 30-40 cm. I like to place them with very little toe in for the best sound bubble and imagining ;)
Why don't i see a youtube review on these speakers? Best kept secret? Anyway, with the wide sreen on the tweeter wouldn't it causse defraction? Or being an open baffle not an issue? Just trying to figure out.
How do you find the Baltic 4 and Naim Sn3 matching? Tia😊
Thank you for asking. I believe they work very well together. Baltic is very natural and slightly warm, and Naim has amazing lower midrange with very good kick to the bass with plenty of energy inn the sound. This Combo with the Qualio IQ is very good.
Very interested in the speakers' concept and they could be my end game choice, but my room needs something smaller. Question for the designers if they read youtube comments: Would you consider a "wide monitor" version of the IQ, where we keep the open baffle exactly the same, the crossover points the same, but replace the bottom with: a box of the same width but much smaller volume, and a high-excursion 17cm like Purifi backed by a class-D amp just driving the woofer? If it could sound 95% as good, it would have not only the advantage of being much smaller, but also allow a wider range of small amps to drive just the mid and high, and even allowing some room / baffle step correction adjustability if we make the woofer amp gain adjustable.
Hello That is a very interesting concept and might be valid for some of users. The downside is in bigger room you get less scale due to smaller driver and I am a guy that needs at lest 4*18" woofer per side in Open baffle ;) The size advantage is quite small and it gets costly to do well with going active. We are working on different angle - going 2.5 way in a small floor stander for smaller room and will have some kind of monitor as well. Thank you very much for the idea ;)
@@QualioAudio Thanks so much for your reply! Just want to remind you that there are almost no monitor-sized speakers on the market that has a wide-bander or open-baffle midrange, so you never know how big that market niche can be :)
Man, what you are asking for you can't afford. Be happy with what they got and just go buy what is available. You guys are always talking crap about stuff that you yourselves could never build. Stop talking and just listen to the music. Go get yourself a girlfriend or join a gym or something

I agree with all the comments. These sound very open but with great depth on YT for heaven's sake. I have a Lyngdorf TDAI 3400 how will they work with that? It has the benefit of Room Perfect for room integration and pre outs for seperate power amp which gives lots of options. Thanks.
Hełlo. I heard the speakers with your amp in one of the store and they sound very good. On the other hand one of the customer that helped set up entire system rented smaller Lyngdorf amp with the room perfect module and the amp was lacking in overall musicality and dynamics. Hi Grzegorz, thanks for the feedback. So given that i have the TDAI3400 do you think it will work and if the power amp section can be upgraded what do you suggest. I think the speakers look good and sound great. I'm not sure if the IQ would work in the house we are planning to build.Room will be 5x3.8m. Current room 8x5 snd3.8 at narrowest with cathedral ceiling. Thanks.
How do you think these will do with a hybrid amp like a Vincent Audio SV 228?
We had one customer coming in with His Vincent hybrid amp and the amp matched the speakers very well. The sound was neutrally-warm with good control and very pleasant sound.

There's always one, it doesn't sound digital or unnatural far from it, and if you read the comments everyone likes the sound very much and only you have criticism their great speakers and the Supa nait 3 is it's perfect partner
