This is either the second or third time I've heard these speakers through my my iMac, which admittedly is not the best way to judge speakers, however I've listened to enough demos over UA-cam to kind of get a general sense of characteristics. In both instances I've been remarkably impressed by the life like clarity and holographic sound staging. These speakers make it sound like the players and instruments are in the room performing. That said, each of those demo songs feature vocalist performances with high quality engineering and production standards. I'd like to hear these speakers using a Spotify as the source and handling recordings from the 60's and 70's that isn't of such high quality. Some rock, jazz, funk, lounge samples would be helpful to see how these speakers handle those genres.

I never much trusted audio advice when they recommend to spend only about 30% of your budget on speakers, when they create the biggest mis match between audio input verses audio output in the audio chain.

Larger model (IQ) is more open in the mids and more revealing in the heights so that matching optimal electronics to them might be more critical. I would be interested in finding out more about the twitter: is it a dipole unit?

Qualio has a very natural and open sound which is not easy to accomplish with any speaker for any price.

Hi. Can you tell me what the speakers playing between approx 18-20 mins in are please? The stand says ATR 4.0, (which I can't really find anything on) but what are the speakers?

I don't see many women in attendance. Mostly men. Mostly older men. Men with 30Hz to 12Khz hearing.

Ah, the irony of slapping a $10 to $30 vinyl record on a $50K record player. Filter it through an ancient RIAA curve, put that between two loudspeakers for it to resonate. Not putting my money on that.

I've known only 3 people in my life that could hear 20Hz to 20Khz. Trust me, you do NOT want to have 20Hz to 20Khz hearing. It will drive you mad.

Looking at this video, the age gap seems to be 40 on up, lots of 50+ (Again, hardly any women in the crowd). Average hearing frequency for men that age (50 on up) is 30Hz to 12KHz.

This is mostly extremely expensive audio hardware with dubious advertisement claims. Quality is there, I'm sure.

The visual attraction of Hi - Fi is lost. Just soulless boxes with no LED displays.... no VU meters. My Kenwood separates system imo looks better than anything i saw in this video.

well, i've listened to this on audeze maxwell planar headphones, and then i listened to the original songs, and yes, damn, they sound almost the same, but the microphone... wtf microphone is that!?!?

whatever happened to the QUALIO Amp you guys were working on ??. i hope it's still in the making. i'm quite sure this Amp will be best match in Heaven with the IQ speakers , and hopefully with the IQ-ULTRA as well.

the set up sounds GREAT. i thought these speakers perform best with Class D Amplifier ??!. but this Naim is class A .right ?.

I agree that the soundstage collapses with the Quantum’s. But I have a small room I’m putting a system together for. Quantum’s might be the go. Room size is 3m x5.5m 2.8 vaulted ceiling. So narrow at best. Any thoughts?
