I would like to see a real time version of this video. I can’t figure out what colors you are using...it’s going too fast. Do you have a step by step tutorial, where you say what colors to use and where?
Zorn was using vermiljoenred instead of cadmium. Cadmium was later used by artist to try to do what he did. But after his death they saw a bunch of blues in his art place.
Vermillion is made from mercury, so it is very toxic for today's standards. Cadmium red is a close substitute. Yes, he added blues and greens in landscapes and details, but some of his portraits are done with only this 4 colors.
