Hi! Honestly, this is the first of your videos that I have watched. Personally, this is what I actually needed to watch. Realizing plenty of things and have my inspirations in drawing back to life. And I want to thank you for if it wasn't for this video I might not be able to remember that doing a sketch on an piece of paper and just making yourself grow, getting loose, and remembering mistakes while actually enjoying is the best way to learn. Rather than doing a lot of artwork with pressure and struggle. Love lots!

I have found that if I look very closely, the human face does not consist of smooth or smoothly curved panes but of a patchwork of small planes each of a differing hue or value, the difference of which is not at first apparent. If carefully painted the increase in a naturalistic appearance can noticeably increase. Of course, this is not the subject of your discussion which is color. Yo traté de comenzar así un retrato, pero al pasar el,pincel, los colores se ensuciaban. Usé tu mezcla de solvente con aceite de linaza. Debo dejar secar antes de pasarle otra pincelada de otro color?

Thanks, this helps. Im new to acrylics and color in general, But I have been doing portraits in other mediums for years. Im best at pencil- charcoal. My idea of mixing flesh tones ( up until now) HAS BEEN using 12 different browns and pre mixed peach/ flesh colors- I see I have lots to learn as far as color mixing goes. Not one portrait tutorial do I see them using colors right out of the tube. You all have similair colors on your pallets. ( none of them are " ready to go" flesh tones- it seems you all have to BUILD or MIX these realistic colors.

It is amazing portrait. But I have a question, what was the reason for so much layering after layering. I think you could have done better with the great ability you have in producing colors. I liked the portrait and clear video on each and every process. In my opinion, some layering and color mixing was not really needed because you have a great skills of making beautiful colors and impressions. Thank you for sharing.
Молодец, Чезаре! С удовольствием наблюдал ваш замечательный мастер-класс! Но, сколько раз хотелось крикнуть: "Остановись, лучшее - враг хорошего!" Из недостатков - пропусков по невнимательности лезет в глаза неразвитый козелок уха, если точнее, его отсутствие, а это половина портрета, анатомия-дело святое. И, все-таки, сплющил лицо - увлекся разработкой его теневой части, нужно было почаще в зеркальце смотреть на работу. Вообще, если следовать задаче "Свет на открытом воздухе", то рефлекс на лице нужен бы был здесь зеленоватый и голубоватый. У вас же он условен, как на портретах Караваджо. В остальном - супер, молодец!
